Horrible… ALWAYS One person working there.. the store manager dont bother hiring anybody. The line is always full, you come in for a soda, you won’t come out until 40 mins later. Ridiculous. This location is a joke. Save your time, and shop somewhere else.

Today Jan 15th at 5pm there were 2 female employees who weren't at the counter, so an old man went and got them, finished his transaction and as he walked out the door one of the employees (the shorter one) yelled "**** you old man" and then both employees proceeded to bad mouth him swearing right in front of me. COMPLETELY unacceptable.........

During my last 2 times shopping here, I experienced extremely long wait times, to check out. The line was long, with only one register open. During my experience today, there were 13 customers waiting in line and an additional cashier was never requested by the sole employee at the register.

A great, convenient quick pick up place for milk and popular groceries. Prices are good and the Clover Valley products are good. You can find makeup and lots of other incidentals. One of the best things is it's open until 10 p.m., that's one hour longer than other stores in small towns.

Great place to go when you need a few things between grocery days! They are fully stocked with everything needed to get through these crazy times. And the employees there are very nice and helpful.The Only issue i always hate dealing with when checking out is the long lines of people waiting to get to the registers.

It was very clean and well organized for a Dollar General. The interior is more warehouse style with the sealed concrete floors, and open ceiling. Everything was in its place, not disheveled as I usually find most places. The restrooms were also in clean condition, clearly well maintained. Plus they're right next to Orielly's, which is convenient.

Although often very disorganized, this place has a little of EVERYTHING and is open late every night. Great when I need to run and just grab something really quick. Very affordable. Nice, friendly staff too.

Dollar General is of of those places that I shop at occasionally but more because it's right around the corner than for any other reason. There are some decent prices here and the employees are friendly enough but there's just nothing special about the experience. Basically speaking, for me it's the slightly less costly corner store.

Always Lines no matter what time, no matter how many people are working only one person will be at the counter stressed out while the other people are all joking in the back. There could be 5 people total in the store and all 5 of us could be in line making jokes about the line, with the employees standing 2 feet away going on and on about their weekend plans. Just go to Clements lol the lines move faster.

This is one of my favorite Dollar Generals but I have to say...I love them all. Staff works hard to keep store clean , organized and stocked! They have everything except fresh produce.

So unorganized, place is a mess constantly when u walk in. Staff seem overwhelmed and feel bad for them. Used to be a great store organized and orderly, but now it's just chaos and I hope they get their act together..

Wow have quite a selection of stuff and prices are pretty good. Got some storage boxes good selection of ones easy to open. Great addition to porstmouth esp if you do not want to head to newport. Still keeping with that rural look.

The fears spread around town when this store opened was completely rediculous. They have so much here for so cheap, it's super useful if you don't have the time to head over to Clements. A lot of times the store can be in disarray, but I can excuse that for the deals.

I have to say when I walked in the line that was 10 people deep ....only one person running the cash register... Because everyone called out. whether he was a manager or not... he did a excellent job of getting everyone through that place and was very calm.....

🤬🤬🤬THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE EXTREMELY RUDE THE MANAGER HERE GOT IN MY FACE AND THREATENED ME FOLLOWING ME OUT OF THE STORE BECAUSE I WAS UPSET THAT THE CASHIER the only one at a register mind you with three other people there working WAS TALKING TO ONE CUSTOMER FOR LITERALLY TEN MINUTES WITH TEN PEOPLE IN LINE WAITING PATIENTLY. I politely asked twice if she could handle the customers and that gave the other employees a right apparently to all approach me I felt threatened and felt ganged up on. Which made me feel like I had to be defensive, they embarrassed me infront of the whole store and the MANAGER followed me out asking if I wanted to do something about it, like to fight him?!!! I don’t know where they supposed to treat EVERYDAY customers like that at but I deffinately didn’t expect this from my own town. I WAS SHAKING AND ANGRY AND CRYING THE WHOLE WAY HOME while trying to drive!! I know if a customer of mine was getting upset I wouldn’t be provoking them and making the situation worse. When none of this would have happened if he had his employees in check did y’all forget the CUSTOMER is always right ? Did you forget about loyalty and respect especially when it comes to your $$$$?????? I should have never just went through what I just went through because I asked if the lady could stop talking and do her job POLITELY. Then to top it off I attempted to grab the toilet paper I was going to buy n put it back n walk out well the manager snatched it out of my hands and threw it on the ground and got directly in my face I could feel his spit on my face he was so close. PROFESSIONAL? I heard stories about this manager before but I got the real picture tonight for myself! 🤬🤬🤬 Will never waste another dollar here wich is extremely inconvenient for my children family and myself.

Small store big selection, quick and cheap. The lines really aren’t that bad, some people just have zero patience these days 🙄Plus there’s a hot burly dude with a big beard who works nights/sundays 💁🏻‍♀️

It's not so cheap for a general dollar . Also can be a bit cleaner. People are nice who work there. Added Nov 26th. Hello again, I figired I wpuld come back whats right is right, the store is a lot cleaner than it was. Things were thrown all mixed up like a hobo store for sometime. Its now more organized, but now they seem to never have what I need. Running always oit of food. Its the only place nearby w/o spending a fortune for even eggs. I wish they could get both right because I still love the workers. Keep the shelves packed neatly but keep the food isles packed!! :) Ty everyone. I will always come back and fourth and add to my edit if things change. I keep a close eye or I do not ppst about them. Always write your words but keep up with these places so oir fellow friends and neighbors of everywhere get the right info. Thankyou.. Happy Days to you

Not the store that you want to go to if you are in a hurry unlike most dollar stores the name is very misleading you go in thinking that everything is at least a dollar except for seasonal mark downs everything is more than a dollar but if you want something for a dollar you truly have to look. Whereas the store call Dollar Tree evening in the store sells for a dollar. The other issue is that you do have to wait in line as 9 times out 10 they don't open another line this at Dollar General.

I loved this store when it first opened up. Went in at least twice a week. Now it's always empty of products and looks dirty. Just cause it's a discount store it shouldn't have less care

Dollar General is a good store, I love to buy the toys there, I buy the gift cards also. I hope they bring more selection of toys to the store.

This store is always a mess. There is always litter all around this store and cigarette butts discarded everywhere!Very Very dirty, not a very friendly staff with being such a small town.

Lots of stuff at good prices, but store was crowded with only a few shoppers. There were long lines at the checkouts. I was going to ask where something was, but I didn't really need it.
