It was really cool to connect with the owners to nerd out on drums and cymbals during the whole process. If you’re a drummer and need some work done on a vintage kit, this is your place.

A drummer's dream!Two floors of gear, both new + used. Great prices on the used gear. Many MANY cymbals to try and a nice lineup of double kick pedals, which was what I came for! There's a good section of drum line/marching band gear and mountable percussion.Drum heads, rims, pads and sticks galore!Dozens of discounted stands/mounts/hardware. The used hardware was clean and mostly like-new.There's also a really gentle, sweet dog that hangs out in the store and likes to be pet!Awesome first visit! Walked out with exactly what I've been looking for, and at half the price I would've gotten it all for brand-new online or at Guitar Center.These guys rock!

Bart helped me pick out new drum heads and then replaced the one on my snare (I had brought it with me). He and Anthony are so helpful and nice. I'm a beginner but they are so patient and knowledgeable and love sharing details and tips. When I'm ready to upgrade to a better kit, I'm definitely going there. Highly recommend.

Great service and great prices!Went with a buddy and did a huge drum shop because I had heard such good reviews 👌Anthony was super helpful told me the best way to mount my Tom's to my kick drum and ended up settling on a Snare stand for a great priceThis shop has pretty much anything you should need including some other things such as guitar strings which I will be getting here from now on instead of guitar center!

A bit out of the way, but always worth the drive.Why? ....1. VD&M is a treasure trove of drums & equipment. If they don't have it, they'll get it for you.2. VD&M has knowledgeable owners and staff that actually play drums, and can guide you to the best selections based on your needs, budget, skills, aspirations, etc. No, they don't sell on commission, so they're not going to steer you to something that's beyond your needs3. VD&M is a locally owned shop that is passionate about the local music scene and local musicians. What surprised me most, is that even when comparison chopping, their prices were often BETTER than the big music stores or online giantsGo to Village Drum - they've got the beat!!!

This was my first trip from CT to Village Drum & Music!Not knowing what to expect, as I had been to a chain store, and a local family store back home.I was thoroughly impressed, the service here at Village Drum. & Music, was well above exceptional.They offer many services including new and vintage drum sales. Restorative services for both drums and accessories.Would recommend a visit to family and friends.

If you are looking for a shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff, a wide variety of equipment and accessories, and an entire area devoted to cymbals, this is it. Save yourself the hours of googling a small part and drive to Village drum. They probably have it. There is so much gear in this store that it takes a while to take it all in. Awesome prices, no pushy sales people. Buy drums from real people at great prices here! Seriously loads of great stuff. Only drum shop like it in New England that I can think of.

From the quaint village atmosphere outside you wouldn't expect such a well put together range and extent of music goodies inside this shop. My new favorite drum shop in Southern New England has something for every price range and skill level drummer. The inventory on the shelves and expertise behind the counter blows the local mega store away... in fact you'll wonder why the big stores have such a high markup once you see Anthony successfully pulling it off at his much more reasonable sticker prices.
