The good: fresh-made food ready to eat.The bad: some embarrassingly sky-high prices.I am not a frequent shopper, because I do not live very close by, but have visited a few times a year over the last decade or so. I enjoy their variety of bakery items and prepared foods. Some are made in-house, and others are locally sourced.I visited in the past week on my way back home to RI from out of state, to get a few groceries and meals. I planned to buy at least enough produce for a few big salads. However, I was stopped in my tracks when I saw how exorbitant the produce prices were, especially compared to a year ago. I'm talking NINE dollars for a six-pack of baby cucumbers (but a single English cucumber was $2, pretty normal price). Almost $6 for a bag of Dole salad (greens mix & dressing), usually about $3 elsewhere. I don't know how anyone could afford to shop there regularly for all their groceries.On the other hand, I picked up a box of pizza strips for $7 which I thought was very reasonable (and they are delicious). They were labeled as Brigido's but they were right next to other "pizza" items from DePetrillo's (which runs ~$9 for the same half-tray size). And a sliced Iggy's dark rye pullman for under $5.I'll definitely be shopping there again in the future but suggest paying very close attention to prices before putting items in the cart.

Love that store and unfortunately moved away? Wish I never did, been disaster since living. In central Florida with rude people and terrible hospitals and doctors and lawyers? My 43 yr old son dead and again from doctors and post office caused my poor husband to drop dead in February 06,2022 . So coming home soon before Florida and rotten people kill me. Miss stores and restaurants and food and bakeries and some people cause lot of my true friends dead. And most relatives up there good for nothing ?

It's expensive, but there are some good sales usually. I like their bean salads in the deli area with the foods already put together. Three bean salad is really good there. I love the balsamic vinegar that my sell from the barrel. Produce is nice. It's a great place to run on, pick up a few things a couple if things they make there. Place is never crowded so it's nice for that reason too.

This is my "regular" market I visit and I appreciate the effort that's been put in to add more specialty items and the layout of the store. I have noticed that the customer service is quite poor however. The staff is mostly young and if you were to wonder around for 20 minutes no one would stop to ask if you needed help. Also when checking out there is minimal interaction or pleasantries. I just checked out and the cashier said nothing, absolutely nothing except for the total of my bill.

I. LOVE. THIS. STORE! Is it huge? No. Is it expensive? Some things. BUT. What it lacks on size or cheaper prices, it more than makes up in variety, uniqueness of items and a banging selection of Italian food favorites. I've been away from the RI/CT area for almost 20 years and many of the favorites I had living here have disappeared. That's to be expected after all this time. But I was so happy and surprised to find a lot of them in this store when other big box stores had none of them. Thanks Brigido's! We love you.

The staff is nice. Store is fairly clean. I have noticed however that one of their seafood cases feels warm. I've also had issues with buying produce only to get home & find it to be rotten. Most recently was a pack of blackberries. They looked good when I inspected them but when I got home &opened the package the entire center was pure mold. Yuck.

Nice small and very clean and organized store but they should be ashamed of their pricing. Over priced items, it's a wonder how they stay in business.

The prices are ridiculous. Tbh the people that shop there are very ignorant. Nobody says excuse me or thank you. People just stand in front of food, block the items, touch every sandwich. That’s disgusting. The staff is very nice. I feel bad for them to have to deal with the scum that goes in this place anymore. My suggestion. Go to Connecticut to stop n shop. It’s not that far.

Very clean store and friendly cashiers. One negative is the horrible music they insist on blasting the whole time you're there! Unless you're 16 years old, the music makes you want to run out of the store! Lose the music! Way too annoying and not necessary. Impossible to carry on a conversation with my friend in the store while that garbage music is blasting.

Convenient, but thats about it. Been multiple times. Their flowers are a rather limited selection and last les than a week. Everything is more expensive than supermarkets, but thats expected. Also, unfortunately, their store made items leave something to be desired. They're good in a pinch, but thats about it. I really hate to say this about a local spot too.

Great little local market perfect for quick pick up items too. Not the largest selection but has most of what you need including a bakery and foods to go. Staff has always been very pleasant.

Nice local market but limited selections on most things. Clean store and friendly staff. Prices are somewhat higher than your bigger stores. I stop here for those last minute items or a dinner craving. Hot foods also available

This is a local grocer who has good quality fresh food at reasonable prices. Tucked away in a small strip mall behind some businesses off Route 6 in North Scituate. Home of the greatest Pizza in the state Cuzzo's pizza. They offer a thin crust pizza that is just out of this world. There's also a Chinese restaurant dining take out and their food is very good. I highly recommend this area for grocery shopping good food and there's a eye shop and a watch repair shop of all things. Definitely old school for the seniors.

This is awesome market with a small town feel and a great selection of foods however it is a fairly small market and only have limited room but really fresh produce and the people that work here are extremely polite and try there best to be able to help, deli and bakery are just the same.. highly recommended

Overall, any of Brigido's 3 locations (Pascoag, No. Scituate, and No. Smithfield) provide a fairly good market experience. Not, repeat, Not a "supermarket" by definition, these stores nevertheless offer enough variety in their inventory to satisfy those that prefer multiple-choice, as well as generic selections from IGA (International Grocer's Association). I truly LOVE their deli (no taking a number here!) and bakery. The former being mostly Boar's Head, and the latter created from their own kitchen. Locally sourced veggies, fruits, and meats as well. Good sales items that don't require a membership card. Check 'em out!
