Last week was a great visit for my 11 year old Cairn Terrier Rudy with Dr. Dave and the team at NKAH. Everyone is super kind and pleasant, and they keep it clean as a whistle. Rudy was in for his rabies shot and a heartworm screening test. All was well with my little buddy so that is always a good thing. I can highly recommend North Kingstown Animal Hospital without reservation. They have cared for all my dogs (JJ, Keeper, and Rudy) for the past ten years, and I am confident in the quality of care and professionalism throughout the entire team. Thanks guys.

Absolutely love the staff at NK Animal Hospital! Very friendly, calming and caring! Dr. Springer was wonderful. Although, Gizmo wasn’t pleased being left there for a few hours….we both feel better knowing tests and X-rays were done and look good at this point in time!

Called late in the afternoon because my indoor cat got out and came back with tiny tick nymphs all over her eyes, they said bring her right in and we'll take a look. They got them all off and did a great job with a not so nice kitty!

We have a 16 year old that North Kingstown Animal Hospital has taken care of for years! She is mouthy! They love her. I love how they put me at ease and her acceptance of them. It is as though she knows they are her medical team. I do not know how. Recently lots of changes in her health. I have had so many new things to do for her and they have been so patient with my constant calls as we have never had to do so much for her before. They are bending over backwards sideways for so many. Our little girl appears to be responding favorably. They are good to stay in touch and re-educate us even though so busy. We right now do not know what normal looks like for her and the changes whether all of them are for the good so thankful they are working with us to reassure us and see us through this extra managed care for her. They are a real answer to prayer for us.

Previously, I had taken my yorkie to them years ago, and their care and vast knowledge have not diminished over time. We travel often and have used many boarding and animal hospital combos. Out of about 12 we have used in as many states we identify this one has the worst. We were charged for baths and our dogs still smelled terrible, i would even say i doubt they did more then spray down our dogs. they were constantly in wet environments causing hardened mats in our dogs paws, which the north Kingstown Animal hospital would not even treat! we had to find another vet to address all the issues our dogs had from staying at north kingstontown animal hospital just 3 days! so if you want to pay $100 a day and have to then pay another $300 at a different vet this is your place. our dogs came back frightened and nervous. Our male dog has urinary tract infection as well...So if you do care for your pet, find somewhere else to go.

I had a great experience today! My dogs had an appointment a couple weeks ago but with the virus I decided to change it to a later date. The kind girl on the phone told me my dogs needed their rabies shots and I could do a drive up service that they were doing in a week or so. She wanted to make sure my dogs got their shots. I drove in the parking lot for my appointment time slot, there was one car in front of me, one of the girls flagged me up and asked for my name. They had all the paperwork ready for when I got there and the rabies tags. I got both my dogs out of the car and gave them to the techs. While they were inside I paid and got my paperwork, in that short amount of time my dogs were already outside. Great service from very friendly staff! They were so organized and got us in and out in no time! I really appreciate all the hard work from the staff, coming to work on a Sunday (their day off) when everyone is social distancing and so many people out of work. They are still making sure our pets are taken care of. Thank you North Kingstown Animal Hospital for taking care of our pets!

After 10 years with the same mobile veterinarian, I was suddenly without her and in the middle of a crisis with my cat. It was a very stressful time because I needed help quickly and whoever I went to would need to get up to speed with a cat who, let's just say, does not have a history of being a good patient. I too, am a bit overprotective of my cat and was probably more nervous than him to make a change. But, from the moment we arrived at NKAH everyone on staff was understanding, compassionate and professional. Dr. Field and Vet Tech Kristin Rosa were particularly wonderful and Dr. Mandarini, well, you just can't ask for better. We landed in the best place possible, for both of us, and I'm happy to report both cat mom and cat are doing well. Thank you NKAH for taking us on and helping Baby Zane.

We've been using NK Animal Hospital for years, since we got our first dog. We love it there. My current dog has a lot of anxiety but they always give her lots of love and make her as comfortable as they can. She also used to have terrible stomach problems and they were always so helpful and fit her into the schedule when they could to check her out. Luckily she no longer has those problems and we only need to go for her check-ups/shots!

Update for 2020 - once again they were there for us. We are only in RI 4-5 months a year, but we love NKAH. Tiller hurt his leg and they squeezed us in that morning. Caring, professional, friendly and responsive. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff!We were new in town and had not yet established a relationship with a vet. When one of our Golden Retrievers, Tiller, suddenly became very ill, they worked us in for an appointment right away. The entire staff was welcoming, professional, and friendly. They treated Tiller with gentle and caring hands with a comprehensive treatment and he fully recovered very quickly. They even called the next day to see how he was doing! We hope to make this our regular vet when we are permanently settled in. Highly recommended!

We originally started working with NK Animal Hospital Hospital because they handled the first set of shots for our 'rescue'. We planned to eventually switch her to our usual vet, but we have been so happy at NKAH. The medical care, bedside manner and ease of scheduling... We would never consider anyone else!
