I buy supplies there for my pets. Well stocked. The owner is friendly and I rather deal with him than the other employees. It's a small business vibe, but they still have a loyalty program, so you save money. They also sell used cages, re-home animals, that kind of things. For a small store, they do have an impressive variety of fish for sale, as well as aquatic plants. Imo it's better to go spend your money there.

We stopped by Al's place this weekend. Very friendly people and very knowledgeable. I found a aquarium plant I was looking for... very pleased. I highly recommend Al's aquarium and pet store for all your needs.

This is my favorite fish store! They always have healthy and happy animals at a reasonable price. I always make a point to come here for new fish and plants for my tank! Highly recommend!

This place is awesome. Answer all questions, I ask so many I feel bad. Great selection! In my experience the staff go above and beyond to help you out. As far as aquarium setups and selection this is the best place I have found. Don’t go to a chain store when you can get personalized attention from the owner and his staff. I will only go here for any of my aquatic needs.

Really good selection of fresh water fish.Awesome staff, very helpful. And they keep all the animals in really good shape. I have been here a few times and have not seen a single dead fish or snail. That's opposite to what you'd see at any big P store.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Adam is extremely knowledgeable so helpful and just an all around nice guy. The same goes for Scott too. I always call over there for advice or if I need some type of fish if they can order it they order it they're just wonderful people the whole staff is wonderful great selection of fish and plants. Never been unsatisfied!

This place is absolutely amazing. I go for the fish and everything aquatics. The reptile section isn't that great in my opinion but that is just me. They have a lot of snakes from what I saw the couple times I checked and although I have 15 lizards and 6 frogs snakes are just not for me but it doesn't even matter the fish selection is great and the decor (rocks, slate, woods, etc.) Are great too. And unlike most fish stores that sell tank decor specifically the things I mentioned above in ( ) they don't jack the prices way up. Yes if you want good sized wood you are not gonna get it for a couple bucks but I bought some wood here and went straight to osa where for the same size spiderwood was like 100 dollars more. So if you don't wanna get robbed but want great stuff go here cause if you want it they most likely have it and if they don't just ask. Which leads me to the best part of the store.... THE STAFF. I have never met such helpful friendly employees who have no problem helping you get what you need and answering a million questions along the way truly fantastic place. In fact now that I'm writing this review and thinking of the shop even though I don't have the money to get anything I'm gonna have to get the kids in the car and take a 40 minute drive just to look around and talk fish with someone most likely cause no joke the staff is great. 100% recommend everyone who reads this goes asap. See you in about an hour A'sPs. If your not into staff talking with you and what not don't worry if you just want to look around and not ask questions and not be bother don't worry they will leave you alone to do you thing.

This store is great. The owner of the store really cares about the fish keeping hobby and is extremely knowledgeable about it. They're very trust worthy in that they're not trying to push things on you that you don't need, unlike my experiences at other aquarium stores.Great prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff. What more could you ask for?

I've only had good experiences here so far. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I come for the reptile and aquarium supplies, but they also sell stuff for cats, dogs, birds, and small mammals.When we were setting up our first fish tank, the staff took the time to help us pick out plants that would work best for our size/lighting setup. It's been a few months and the plants we got here are thriving. They've got a wide selection of aquarium supplies, and they have a lot of hardscape materials available too.The reptile section is surprisingly robust, considering it's a small part of the store. And they have a nice variety of reptiles + inverts for sale. There aren't many options for items like enclosures and feeders, but you can get just about any other item you'd need. I sometimes have luck finding things here that even the reptile specialty shops don't have. I love that they have a bin of cork bark/tubes, since it's hard to find those without going online.

A’s Aquatics has always been very helpful to me! The staffs always very helpful especially the owner no matter the issue they always know a good tactic to help out! From my Bipolar tank to my boyfriend who constantly wants to hold the critters they have been nothing but helpful! Love you guys! TL; DR Horrible service and sick fish.I've been here twice within the last few months to buy fish for my aquariums. The first visit was uneventful and I was happy to be supporting a small local business. However, the 2nd visit was a nightmare. I arrived around 4:15 on a weekday when they closed at 5:00. I wanted three fish total, two of one species and one of another species. I walked in and was told someone would be right with me. Twenty minutes later I ask for help again and get a similar response. Around 5:00 I ask again and I'm told "just a minute". Now that it's after closing an employee comes over to help me, gets my 3 fish out of the tanks and rushes me out the door. I went home added my fish to their respective aquariums and within 9 days not only have all three fish died, so have 4 others that I had had happy and health for months, and other in the tanks are sick and acting strange. The water quality tests had perfect results and I'm forced to conclude that the fish I was given were sick and are infecting other fish in my tanks. I don't know which will survive and how many more will die but I am never shopping here again.

My dog has a sensitive belly and the knowledgeable staff at the store were able to help me find food that fits my budget and that my dog loves! I come here for all of my dry food, wet food and accessory needs. I highly recommend the pet store!

Been going here off and on for probably close to a decade or longer, the staff is fantastic and helpful. They carry a pretty great selection for reptile keepers with essential products. I feel a lot better supporting a local business as opposed to constantly throwing money at a nobody on Amazon. They get some pretty exotic/rare reptiles in on occasion too, which makes checking in very fun and interesting. Their cat and dog products are some of the best also, and everything is pretty reasonably priced. The owner is really down to earth and works great with people to support their hobby. I highly recommend A's over going to a chain like petco or petsmart, that don't even try to have proper husbandry with their animals and cohabitate 10 beardies for zero reason other than to have a maximum profit turn over.

~Critter Hut is great for meal worms and crickets for a Spotted Leopard Gecko or other reptiles.~Staff is friendly and knowledgeable when I have questions.~They have a frequent buyer program.~ They sell specialty cat food (Fussie Cat Gold) at reasonable prices.
