I've called the pharmacy twice now, and each time the techs have been incredible! They are incredibly patient and always willing to help. It sounds like many of the negative reviews are due to the pharmacy being understaffed rather than inadequate, so I hope they are able to hire more workers soon (for both the customers and the staff's sake).

I give Walgreens 1star because I cannot leave a review without at least 1. I have been trying to get my BP medication for over a week now. My doctor’s office has sent the prescription to Walgreens 3 times in the past week and the pharmacy is still telling me they have not received it. They are GREAT at requesting refills (and then filling) from your doctor when you have not requested them. That works like a charm! This is complaint regarding the process. This is not a complaint regarding the pharmacy staff. They do their best in the broken system within which they must work.

I had the best experience ever in this Walgreens location. Emily is a great employee very polite and helpful. She helped me find everything I need and I had a great experience. Thank you Emily and I will definitely be back.

Ever since Walgreen took over Rite Aid customer service has deteriorated. The pharmacy is terrible. There is simply not enough staff on hand to cover demand. Narragansett is a summer tourist town and summer traffic is huge. Rite Aid always had enough staff on hand. I just tried to phone in a refill and after being on hold for 10 minutes, I gave up. The driveup window is useless as staff are busy on the phone or assisting counter customers. Walgreens has to improve service or I am going elsewhere.

They refused my LHI voucher for a flu shot as a service member. LHI should not contract with Walgreens if they cannot fulfill the order.

If I didn’t have to rate 1 star I wouldn’t.Please don’t even consider going to this store for prescriptions.They question everything. It’s none of their business.I had a legitimate prescription from a Dr. thepharmacist wouldn’t fill it because he accused me of “hoarding”.I will NEVER go back there. Not even for a pack of gum.Rite Aid was wonderful and I miss them so much.CVS here I come

I was told twice over phone and in person that they would request more prescriptions from my doc for heartburn meds. After waiting nearly a week I contacted my old Walgreens and they figured it out in a day. I would highly no recommend and am considering filing a complaint due to the other negative reviews here.

THEY ARE LIARS! Called ahead asking for a product, was told they have it, went to the store to find it completely sold out. Did they even go check when they said they did? I think not. If I could give negative stars I would. They place is run by shmucks. A total of 1.8 stars is over generous. Never going back again.

The pharmacy is terrible. Not enough staff, long lines and slow computers. I have been in 4 times and my prescription is not refilled.

I like this store, I have no idea why the other reviewers would give the store bad marks.. I never have a problem there, the staff is friendly and the store is well maintained and clean.
