Busy gourmet store. Lovely checkout staff. Great for residents and visitors. Fresh food counter. Be prepared for some tourists bringing their pushy and aggressive big city personalities, especially at the counter. Locals, stand your ground :)

This place gives me a bad feeling..over priced supervision of the quality of their items is nonexistent many items are expired check dates the produce is not of a high standard the potatoes i purchased were very old you can tell when you peel them they are greenish under the skin. The deli is another story....drive 5 miles to shaws in Wakefield better quality and much cheaper.. just my opinion...

Nice small version of it's larger store. They have a lot of products and can get in and out in no time. People were nice and friendly.

Great things can come in small packages after all. You'd be surprised all the good things you can find in here! They have great quality raw meats for grilling as well as a full service deli for sandwiches, or just get the ingredients yourself and make them at home. They also have a large selection of salads and ready made foods. They also have top quality produce, from mushrooms to greens to local corn to avocados! Everything you could need.

They just need more bakers. Need to take my order down and not just say they are. Today is the 3rd time they took my order and didn’t come thru

Great deli. Pretty crowded when I was there. You can't beat the different selections. Everything fresh. I wish we had one in MA.

I ordered many prepared foods from this gem of a small market!! Sue helped me in every way selecting a delicious feast for our large family gathering. Having the food delivered to our rental home warm and ready to eat after our daughter graduation ceremony made the weekend a success and less stressful.Look no further for your prepared & catering needs.

Nice market if you need to pick up something quick, avoid the deli at all costs! was pressed for time, stopped by and ordered two steak and cheese sandwiches with mayo and banana peppers, got open opened them up, dry cardboard steak, un-melted cheese and three small slices of banana peppers... uneatable.. $20 for two sandwiches that I had to feed to the dog.

An amazing local family owned grocery store offering a great selection of fresh local farm production. Not overpriced as these places usually tend to. Actually, the prices are almost the same as in the corporate chains, but the quality is just incomparable! Wonderful fruits and vegetables, but they have also their own butcher and bakery. The shop is very small, but the selection of fresh goods is awesome. Extremely friendly and helpful service!

Small store with a surprisingly robust selection. The service is excellent and the food always hight quality. They specialize in fruits and vegetables, a deli counter, some specialty and prepared foods. There's a surprising amount of organic foods. They also usually have lovely flowers and platters, so a good place to stop if you want to pick up something to bring to a dinner party. It's very convenient for me and my go-to place to get something quick. My kids like their meatballs. :) They are also very community minded and generous.

Great produce at average or better than average prices. Meat, dairy, and deli at prices comparable to local supermarkets. Maybe not the place to buy packaged goods unless you need that one thing. Awesome prepared foods, breads, and desserts. Unbelievable selection, prices, and service for a neighborhood market. I do most of my shopping there and hit a chain every couple of weeks for paper towels, ketchup, and the like.

I had some free time before a job and stopped here looking for some snacks. I was not let down! So many options for such a small market and at surprisingly reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I had a super fast checkout. Keep up the good work!

Very nice little neighborhood grocery store. Excellent fresh prepared foods and good sandwiches. Lots of fancy French pastries too. Oh and a great butcher section with really good seasoned meats and things to grill or cook at home .

I now only shop here when in a time pinch. The deli department is great and the bakery has amazing product. The selection of groceries is very specific- and a little more pricey than stop&shop. I think they must freeze all the produce, and let it sit out too long after that. If it is in a package the center is rotten when I get home to open it- or the sliced fruit is somehow already expired though it is dated otherwise. The eggplant I bought got fuzzy by the stem in 12 hours. After several chances and similar experiences I have stopped buying produce from them all together.

I love Roch's because it's convenient to go to when I don't want to travel to Narragansett Stop n Shop. The staff is always very nice and helpful. The produce is always fresh. However, I do feel that it's a little pricey which is why I only go there once in a while.

I have been using Roch's for grocery delivery for several months now and I am very satisfied with the quality of the food ordered and the kindness and efficiency of Mike the driver. The produce is outstanding and Sue and Bernadette are so helpful taking my order by phone. It is a wonderful service to have available to us especially during this time. Thank you for all you do!

I’m a year round resident who lives near Roch’s. Now that the URI students are coming back and many shop at Roch’s , it would be great if you had a mask mandate in your store. The students only have to be vaccinated if they live on campus. The ones who shop , usually live off campus.

Great small shop that doesn't gouge prices eben though they could. Surprisingly large selection, and fresh produce, some of which is local. They make their own pizza dough too.

Cute little store packed with produce. I really just went in for apples and was pleasantly surprised with how many they had. The staff was MAD helpful. Told me a lil about the apples and everything. A bit cramped but not an issue. Will visit again.

Roch's is the best! There is no better market. You can get everything you need for dinner in ten minutes here. Emphasis is on fresh meat, produce and prepared foods. If you need dry goods (cereal, etc) you are probably better off at CVS. Relieves decision fatigue when you just need to get food on the table. Their employees are top notch and provide great service, Just leave your phone in the car please.

Less expensive than I'd expected, except for one not-quite-but- almost-necessary item -- one which etiquette dictates houseguests really ought to "bring with" in all but the most dire instances:But sadly, cut flowers - starting at $21, mind you - did not grace our shopping basket. Not really a problem in the end, since at least 3 of us are avowed cheapskates (and yes, Gentle Reader, one must include oneself when telling Truths.)Once again, I digress. Now let's get back to our story. Now, where was I...Oh, yes:But just a few bucks (andvsignificantly less all told than the lovely bouquets noted above) for two tubs of ice cream and a 2-liter diet coke, our contribution to the annual-ish reunion with old friends summering a few blocks away.Need I mention the low-budget fare completing our repast? No, I think. Suffice it to say, recipes WERE exchanged. They're in Philly, we're north of Boston, miles and decades since lived in Cambridge, most of us, and became friends in the late '70s.Huh ~ Now two of us, you might say the original core of this cadre, are in OUR 70s. What goes around...

Nice people and good food, but for the love of God please bring some organization to the deli counter. Why do you have a number machine and not use it? Lunchtime chaos aside, I recommend this nice market to everyone.
