Amber was great with my Zoe. She is very kind and made Zoe feel comfortable. She did an awesome job. The staff are knowledgeable and pricing is very fair. I am very glad to have found such a good and competent groomer for my baby. Will recommend this facility 100%.

Will not shop here again. Returned a fish tank and the fish because the pump was not working. Went back to buy a small regular gold fish for the 3 gallon tank that I already have and the man would not sell me the fish even though I have a tank and a filter on the way from Amazon. Seems like he was mad that I returned the tank with the non working filter and had an attitude about selling another fish so y’all lost my business. There are plenty of other pet stores so I will get my fish. The dude was rude and arrogant. This happened on March 4, 2024 at approximately 12:45pm. Another thing is they always try to get you to buy things that are not absolutely necessary and they will use that as an excuse to not sell something to you

I brought our newly adopted senior mini poodle in for her 1st grooming, this is the first dog we’ve ever had that has to be regularly groomed, and I wasn’t sure where to begin. I showed our groomer her warts and possible photo to go off of for the haircut she told me don’t worry about the warts and the haircut she helped me with deciding. Oh my god our dog looked like a whole new girl! She seems so much happier now that she’s been groomed and looks fabulous! I’ve already scheduled the next grooming appointment in 6 weeks. They were all just so nice, helpful, and great to work with.

I have a 1 year old golden retriever who is super anxious, especially at the groomers. Amber did an incredible job putting this anxiety at ease, and was able to get the most difficult mats out of his ears painlessly. A master at her craft: 11/10 would recommend. Thank you Amber!

I particularly like that this well stocked pet store features rescue cats, and finds homes for them. They have a special glass enclosure at the front of the store with their featured guest. I've always found the staff friendly and helpful.

Friendly and helpful staff for sure! Mammals, fish and birds all looks to be kept in very good shape with food, fresh water and clean environments available at all times. The only thing was that the reptiles/amphibians section had a bit to be desired and would benefit more ideally for better reptile husbandry and practices as well as more ideal environments for a few of the animals available.For the most part a good sum of enclosures were in good shape. The one I noticed needed the most work was a boa there that, if I had the money to afford the poor thing, I would have done an immediate pull to get the animal into a much more appropriate environment with better husbandry. As a breeder and caretaker of reptiles, I found the boa’s husbandry to have much to be desired for sure. Placed on an aspen-type wood shaving bedding that was more ideal for low-humidity species such a colubrids rather than a high-humidity species such as a boa with an overhead light versus the belly heat a non-basking species should have instead, it was all topped off in learning the regulations of the store required moving to feed, a practice well known among us keepers that causes severe amounts of stress on an animal and often encourages very unhealthy regurgitation. I’m hoping to save enough money on my side savings currently to go there and get the little one with me where I can get some proper husbandry going, honestly.But, recently I did get a gecko from there due to the poor condition it was in. The little one came to me with a nipped tail that was just about ready to get infected which I had to pay very close attention to. Alongside having horrifying amounts of stuck shed that is incredibly unhealthy for a leo and even having splatters of feces literally painted onto its body I felt terrible for them. They had recently been separated from a cohabitated trio which the other two had bullied my little one. I knew I had to get them into a better environment and now? The little one is incredibly healthy, not a smidge of feces caked onto the body, has the healthiest sheds possible for a leo, amazing appetite and handling very nicely in comparison to the poop-smeared, stuck-shed, nearly infected-tailed absolutely horrified, defensive little gecko I initially bought.That being said this doesn’t mean the place is bad, I simply feel is a bit misguided and lacks understanding on the proper husbandry of certain species as well as could use a better revision to certain guidelines that would prove less stressful to the animals in there (i.e. start feeding the boa in enclosure and change bedding to something more suitable to high humidity species, like cypress mulch) so I believe that if they could consider making better changes and revisions to the way some reptiles are cared for and the husbandry for those reptiles, things would be absolutely stellar! But, my review is sticking to 3 stars because of the poor husbandry of some of the reptiles there. There is potential to improve, for sure, but they are already doing very well for the most part other than the points I found unsatisfactory for certain animals. Because while the excuse that “the animals are eating and doing well” is one we hear often, merely being alive and fed doesn’t constitute to being properly housed and cared for.

The Narragansett location has always been friendly and inviting environment. Every visit you are greeted by at least one some times more of the staff members who are always willing to assist you if you have any questions. When buying large or heavy items staff always ask if I would like assistance walking them out to my car, which is a very kind gesture in my eyes. I’ve had only pleasant experiences every time I’ve shopped there which is very offer.

This place was great for grooming! The staff were super friendly and reassuring. We have gone to many groomers for much more money and had way worse results. Our pupper came out looking great. We live quite far away but will be driving back here again for sure. Thanks so much!

I just brought my very nervous, newly rescued pup to be groomed. Ava did an amazing job with Mellie. She was super patient and made changes to the service based on Mellie’s comfort level. And I’m thrilled to not have to trim her nails any time soon! Also, very reasonably priced.

Great staff and everyone is so helpful and nice. Serious animal lovers and they were even able to trim my friends dogs nails whole NOBODY can trim - not even her vet. No stress. I think the dogs feel like they are at a spa!

A+ service and work from the groomers to the front of the store. In my experience the groomers take very good care of the animal's and they take the time to make sure the animal's are comfortable. I've had nothing but good experiences with this place so far

I brought my mini golden puppy here wanting just a face clean up as it would be his first time gwtting groomed ever. I had called the day before and explained he was attacked by a dog when he was 2 months old, and was terrified of other dogs. They told me if i brought him in first thing no other dogs would be around him. After we got there one of the employees showed up with their two large dogs "just for a visit" and took them into the back- where my puppy was and i could hear him 'screaming' wildly. While this was happening the groomer argued with me that waiting a year to cut the coat was a myth but i was insistant we would like just the face and paws trimmed. I stayed in the store for about 20 minutes until i heard my puppy calm down- you could hear him yelling and wimpering throughout the building. When i came to pick him up the groomer had ignored what i asked for and gave him a full body haircut.She ruined his coat, and cut off he best features. Blatant disregard for what the customer asked for and honestly i think they brought the dogs in on purpose. Never returned.

We have been there two nights in a row for our new rescue, and both visits proved successful. Last night Tyler and Noah took out dog crates to make sure we bought the right size. Earlier today Alex helped over the phone with a Thunder Shirt for our dog's separation anxiety and tonight Max helped with other items in the store.
