Courtney, the groomer, is terrific and does a wonderful job with my Sheltie. However, I am shocked by the cost which was $100 plus at the register. Please reduce the costs or I will have to go elsewhere. BJ Owen

I went as a walk in for nail trimming and buffing, and ended up selecting the mini-makeover. The woman who performed the service stated that my dog did well, other than nervous for a minute or two. After we left I noticed wet blood spots in my car, pulled over and realized my dog was bleeding significantly. On one paw, 2 nailed were cut too short, but Kwik Stop was used and they weren’t bleeding anymore. The other paw Had 2 Nails cut way too low, and both were actively bleeding. There was blood all over her paws, paw pads, in between toes, and in my car. i returned to Petco, the woman who performed the services went in the back and another woman came out. She profusely apologized, applied kwik stop 2 more times because the bleeding was alot, and provided a refund without me having to ask. While this was appreciated, I should have been informed by the woman who performed the services and brought me my pet, given the amount of blood and how low the nail was cut. There was enough blood that I had it on my feet from walking my puppy in and they had to mop the floor. I have pictures and a video.

My 15 year old sweet, blind Yorkie loves her "spa day" with Angelea at Petco in Middletown.Just noticed that there is only 1 star. It should be 4 stars. My arthritic fingers must have not presses the stars hard enough...Oops. lol

Briana was so sweet with my dog. She's a blind, senior rescue dog that is very skittish in certain situations, yet aside from shaking non-stop, Biddy did just fine. Briana’s soothing demeanor and gentle touch left me with a happy, far more attractive and clean dog. Bravo! I highly recommend Petco, but especially this particular groomer!

When I entered the grooming shop I was warmly greeted and felt welcomed. The groomer, Liz, asked questions about my dog and my preferences for his treatment. She spoke to my dog and made him feel comfortable in a new setting. All around a very pleasant experience.

They were able to take our Sadie in on a same day appointment even being severely short staffed. It took a little longer than usual (3 hours), but no one was in a hurry except Sadie, who isn't a huge fan of hair dryers, nail clippings, ear cleanings and cages. I just try and get her out of their as soon as I can. :-)
