Was 10 to 15 customers in line today with only 2 cashiers. Manager was just walking around instead of jumping in a manning the register she just ignored the customers.

This place was a mess. I understand it's Christmas time, but there was no excuse for the disaster of the store. If this was the first time I had gone into a job lot, I'd never go back into one. I actually took pictures of the bathroom because I was so disgusted.Employees were nice at checkout.

I shop here often. Usually have what I need at great prices. Ample parking. Friendly & helpful staff.No bike rack.Have had no problems with shopping or returns.Easy to reach by RIPTA 75, 54, or 59X.

I love to shop here for the Toss Away Aluminum Pans, Some Spices & Teas, Jams, Lemon Curd, Drinks & Juices, Olive Oils, Balsamic Vinegars, Cookies, Candy, Dried Fruits & Nuts, Dates, Crackers, Soups, Marinated Vegetables, & some other foods, if in stock. Also the Clothes, Coats, Sweaters/Fleece Wear, Sweats, Capris,Tops, Shorts, T-Shirts, PJ Pants, Kids Clothes, Swimsuits, Sandals, Shoes, Boots, Hats, Gloves, Umbrellas, Garden, Toys, Towels, Bedding, Rugs, Housewares/ Appliances, Decor, Some Cosmetic Supplies, Stationary/Calendars, Seasonal Items/Holiday, etc. I am always going there for something, but they have discontinued carrying both brands of the Mousse Mixes, Aloe Drinks & Israeli Couscous, to my disappointnent. I ❤️ the Crazy Deals.

This is one of my favorite Job Lots! They always have new things from clothes, to food, to health/beauty aids, cleaning supplies and pet stuff to mention a few! Prices are very good!! I bought name brand woman's flannel pj bottoms for $6.00 and sustainable dog treats for under $3.00 (normally $5-$8!) on my last trip!

You can never go wrong with Ocean State Job Lot. It’s got everything you need, cheap clothes, school supplies, reading glasses that don’t break the bank when you buy them. I got a heavy duty tarp for a great price. And some clear storage bins. You can’t beat the prices and their crazy deals are usually some great items.

I love this store! They have everything I need from gardening to pet food. The staff is very friendly, they have amazing plants and even organic soaps and hair care. I go there for school supplies and basic at home items. Just a very successfully done discount department store.

The store is great. My only dislike was what seems to be policy on a return on one item when paid cash and used a crazy deal gift card on a $70 receipt. Was not aware if you pay with those gift cards first toward a part of the transaction price and then pay the difference in cash they issue a good card back first. The woman helping me did return cash for the one item but it could have been a little more pleasant of a experience. The long policy was displayed at the service desk but even she was not 100% sure on my question. I'll make sure next time I have read the whole policy and just called out differently. I would still shop here happily.

Love the prices, but not the managers. They fired a friend of mine, a teenager, who was nominated by themselves as a worker of the week in less than a month working there. They don’t train the workers well, and when the workers make a mistake for not knowing all the procedures and policies of the store, they just fire the employees without a good reason. Train well, and your employees won’t make the simplest mistakes, specially the younger ones. I felt so mad when they fire my friend even knowing he was really good at his job.I will never come back to this store ever again! I will never recommend this store to any of my friends.

Externally, this store may be viewed as one you would not want to patronize. The surprise is that they have a varied inventory. You can walk out with something for your gardening, make up, a game, towels, shirt. Catfood,food items; and more.. They may not have the ambience or allure of a great outward storefront...but check it out and maybe you will see what I see. The manager, Ken, I happened to meet was had a blend of qualities that I believe, we need to see more of in management.

This is one of the best stores. Always clean, stocked and much to choose from. Cheap but quality stuff. Wish it would open in Nashville. So much Better than big lots. Love their food section with coffee, spices, snacks. Coffee is a big score there. Plenty of parking

I love going to Job Lot, sometimes you can find some really good deals on things, and I've found many things I regularly buy on A****n for up to half the price. Also, most of the Crazy Deals are awesome, and I've found many of these deals on things I would normally buy anyway! This store, however, tends to be pretty unorganized, sale items can be hard to find, and it can be a bit messy. That won't deter me from visiting the store though, a little bit of inconvenience is easy to deal with, for the money I save!

Not really anything worth buying this trip. The store was well maintained, but employees failed to greet or make eye contact. There is that annoying donation request at the register too. To make matters worse, if they manage to guilt you into donating they'll yell your name out accross the store. #embarrassing.

I shop here first for deals.. Their dried fruit and nuts are amazing, as well as hard to find specialty ingredients for cooking. I also buy a lot if art suppkies there..There's just too much to list here..

I have been to many Ocean State Job Lots and they are all good. The new one in Narragansett (old Benny's) is nice as well. But for me, the one in Lincoln (Lincoln Mall plaza) is the best. Clean, well stocked, organized. My wife & I agree, this is our favorite!

I love Job Lot because they have crazy deals.They have a table with product that says crazy deal and for example they have cookies $2.50 a packageYou buy 4 and you get $10 crazy deal card. That means you get free cookies and use a $10 crazy deal card to spend on what ever you want. But you can’t use a crazy deal card for another crazy deal item. Tell me if that’s not a good deal. Because not even Walmart gives you a Penney back being a big store.

I like the store and prices however this store is a major fire and safety hazard. If your handicapped I would suggest a different store. They have products in isles, most isles are blocked, items piled so high that the risk of coming down is too dangerous. They do not have a store room so what is delivered is on the floors. Isle ways that should be opened are stacked down the middle. The company, needs a better district sales manager, sometimes what sells high just has to be broken on separate shipments since you don't have storage space or room. This in turn makes this store looked trashed, some isles are completely wiped but with so much stock it's hard for employees to keep up.
