They have cart wipes!! Yay! Store was a little messy but not too bad some things didn't have prices on or near them. They have self-checkout but also had actual cashiers!

What a dump! The banans were rotting literally and plenty of fruit flies around. I thought I was losing my mind, because the simple and common things I went to buy I could not fine them and after going up and down each aisle for an hour, I finally went up front to ask where certain items would be, the employee I asked told me she didn't know and she didn't bother to ask anyone else. Imagine, no salad bowls, no spaghetti o, no peanut butter, no sugar. etc. WTH good is this store? I noticed the prices were more steep here compared to 2 other price rite markets I go to. This store should go to Price rite in Pawtucket on Londsdale ave and learn how to stock a store...They need to teach employees about what they do and don't stock.

Clean, fast check out considering this is Christmas weekend. I found everything quickly. Usually the produce isn't that good but today everything was fresh and priced reasonable. The location was clean and shelves were stocked and the sales 3 boxes of cake mix or brownie .50 each... awesome buy.. I usually shop at the Johnston location but I was in Warwick and decided to shop. Johnston & Warwick are the best location for good produce and quick check out

What more can I say with the economy in the toilet! And we heading for a recession. Every Dollar Counts! Also love there selection of food. Things are much cheaper for Same product As So and Shop etc. Just bring your own bags.

Good store, great prices. I love the produce and deli. However, I come to shop here 2-3 times a week and every time I am here I always see one of the stocking clerks do more walking around and talking to other employees than actual working.....

Only thing is the self check out when you buy bags takes them for ever to give them to you I understand when it is busy but when it's not busy still takes along time to get the bags if your in a rush

The prices are the best around here. The employees are helpful and friendly. It's the only place we buy spices, they have a big selection at a fraction of the cost of the other chain grocers.

I am very fond of this Price Rite - it reminds me of stores in NYC's Outer Boroughs - it has weird/interesting/decent produce, meat, and frozen stuff, and every Goya product ever made.It carries unique items I can't find anywhere else in the area, and doesn't carry a lot of things that a supermarket usually does - it all takes some getting used to.It kinda has a dollar store vibe, but better, and the prices can be amazingly reasonable and affordable.I don't expect to get all my shopping done here, but I always stop in when I am in the area to stock up on things only they carry.* IMPORTANT * Bring your own bags - they don't have free plastic/paper bags, and the only bags you can buy there are reusable, heavy duty bags. Also, how you can actually buy the bags is *very* confusing and awkward, and talking to a sales person does not clear up the confusion.Actually, asking the sales staff any questions at all usually doesn't go all that well here - better to ask another customer, or just figure it out on your own. Still, it is worth look see, if you don't mind a little bit of a grocery store deal hunting adventure.

I was pleased to see that deli was opened again during complete store hours. I was third in a line three waiting to order. The first customer I did not notice. The second was apparently recognized by the deli employee. They talked a bit, he was served and left. When my sister placed my order for three pounds of salami, the unkempt, rudest employee began to complain, mutter and smash items loudly on the counter. She then complained about it nearly being closing time. We ordered one more item and endured more protestations replete with the additional and louder slamming and banging. I understand that employees are most difficult to find, at times. This particular one did not at all represent your store well. The brightest spot was the most polite cashier, ‘Francis.’ A uniquely polite gentleman whose manners were perfect. He waited on each of us with great care, was quick, accurate. It was a most distinct pleasure to have encountered him! I hope he enjoys a very long tenure in your store. Here’s too Francis! Exceeding well done.

They had everything I needed, and more than a few pleasant surprises. Prices are awesome. If you forget to bring your own bags theirs are only 10¢ each, and really strong and thick, and therefore super reusable. They even sell good reusable and more durable bags and thermal bags.

Well stocked, excellent prices, not your typical selection of items but you will find a majority of what your looking for. They have a lot of international brands. Staff is friendly, store is always clean and plenty of shopping carts. Similar to Costco or BJs, they don't bag your items and I prefer it cause I can be particular about how i organize them. In typical circumstances you bring your own bags or you can purchase some pretty sturdy plastic bags for 10 cents. Currently you cannot bring bags in.

Considering that this price rite, the expectations were low, but the price rite at Johnston,RI stands tall in its own right.The prices are really cheaper than anywhere else with obvious compromise in quality. However, there are some real bargains, if one is careful to explore.Vegetables are the best bet here. I found a lot of variety of vegetables. One has to come to terms that this is not Wholefoods. So if you keep your expectations low, you will see that the vegetables are relatively fresh and abundant.Other than vegetables I didn’t find anything else worth buying here. Seafood and meat section were very limited and they certainly didn’t look fresh.The organization of the aisles were a bit confusing, but one has to admit that this is a big establishment. With someone amount of work one can find what they were looking for, at a bargain price.Staff were mostly helpful and courteous. Checkout was a breeze considering the other Price rite stores elsewhere in the state. I am still not comfortable with using a different cart for checkout, but I could see some advantages in doing so.Overall this is an OK place if you go with low expectations.

Such an amazing store to get my groceries. Very clean and well organized. Cashier named Blake, he is a very lovely young man! All the Staff are very friendly. They are always helpful when i am having trouble finding an item. Will continue to shop at this store!

While at self check-out the light began to blink indicating assistance required. The worker at self check-out yelled out a command for me and my friend to follow. My aunt who was waiting for us said to the workers they are deaf so you will need to walk over and help them. At that time one of the workers began to laugh uncontrollably. My aunt asked what was so funny and he said hahahaha I did not expect that. She said you can laugh all you want but they still will not hear you so you will need to help them. The worker continued with his hysterical laughter saying I did not think a person would say that. Needless to say this horrible worker did not assist us but continued with his stupid laughing as people looked on. The other worker never said a word and finally walked over and assisted us. I am amazed Price Rite in Johnston would employ workers who discriminate against the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I will never step inside a Price Rite again. Price Rite management should be ashamed of themselves for employing such terrible people.

Of all the Price Rite stores in RI,I like this one the best!!! ❤😁👍Believe me,I have shopped everywhere in RI.🤣🤣🤣Very clean and has a good selection of items. (hey, it's Price Rite! You're not there for the gourmet items,just the staples)Great prices!!! 😁👍Yes you will find some name brands here.I got my Easter ham there and it was better than I have found in pricier stores.

When this Price Rite first opened it was very clean. Though the food quality has not changed the management has been putting the little cardboard displays in every isle. It makes the store seen cluttered. In isle has big blue barrels taking up space. They have been there for over a year. Why? Get rid of the junk in your aisles. Manage the store.

Price Rite is the perfect name for this store. I go in for my produce and can items.. Meat is not that great of a selection. But your going in the store expecting that. It's good enough to get you through some tasty meals.

Price Rite is ok store I like their fruit and vegetables and some products here and there few disappointments at the store, needs more cleaning all across the board, needs more organizations, needs better customers service and the customers paying for bags 🎒 why price rite gets a cheap bag and it ripped right there trying to open it .I be honest, I am disappointed 😞.

Very clean. I'm originally from Jersey, so imagine my surprise, seeing shoprite products without being in shoprite. They could use more cashier's, a lady was complaining being in line for 20mins.

This is a new market that they just opened up. I think they opened it up last year. They do have a deli there. And the prices are very good. I do most of my grocery shopping there. So make sure I don't forget to bring bags because they do charge you for a bag. I'm good at saying that but everytime I go I don't have a bag LOL

Store was clean and in order but the bathrooms were discusting floors wet with urine toilet full of fecis and on some of the toilet paper on the floor totally unextable I told manerger and he went and got somebody to clean it unfortunately that person went and looked and went back outside getting carriages I said to him did you sanitize the bathrooms he said yes but nothing was done this needs to be addressed emediatlly I am also forwarding this to the health department and the governors office bathrooms should be at least checked every half hour and sanitized the same thank you

They have what I am personally looking for and it's cheaper then most supermarkets like a stop and shop or Shaw's... Those places are nice for their ambiance and presentation... this place I walk in quick and grab what I need and it's cheaper so im happy. They have self checkout now.

I spent hours driving to different markets for real cannoli shells. This was the only place that had them. They even sell real cannoli cream! Thank you so much for being the only store I’ve found that has these items. Not even federal hill has them!
