Great place for all kinds of things at reasonable prices! Staff is always nice and helpful too!I would give 5 stars, but oftentimes, I go there based on sales ads I get, and they do not have what it says in ad.I was able to search online for something and see it was in stock, in store, and go in and buy it!Just redeemed our gift card that we got for buying another item from them months ago. It bought a lot for our spring garden!

I bought quite a bit of stuff here yesterday. One small item was missing and I had paid for it. It was a dog bandana that repelled insects supposedly, and it had 2 little packs you could freeze and slip in the sides. I called the store this morning, hoping that they didn't put it back on the shelf yet as they had all kinds of small & med. That was the only large they had. Well, the rude young female who answered the phone said "come back with your receipt and we'll look at the film and see where it went" Click! No is there anything else I can help you with? Not even a Have a nice day, or even bye. So the only large bandana, will not be there on Monday, the only day I can get a ride, as I have seizures. Due to the rudeness of the female on the phone that will be the last I will ever step foot in that store!

Job Lot is good for many things, especially cheap but good sweatshirts, staple food items and housewares. I also like the crazy deals offers and customer appreciation day. I can't think of another store that gives you 40 percent back on the total of what you spend that day.

You can find some great finds, but some things that you bought before and enjoyed may not return for sale. Location can be hard to navigate where to find things sometimes.

It a wonderful "one stop shop center" if you need to buy many different things and dont have time to go different stores, this is your go to place. And the price is very affordable. Trust me i say affordable! And amazing quality! Was looking for a grill cover and found a great one for two time less the price at other places for the exact same product. How awesome is that.

This place, like all the job lot stores, is just a FUN and comfortable store to go to, because you never really know what you'll find. Of course they always carry staple items and goods, and far too many to even begin to mention... but the customer service is always the best, and the employees are always smiling and receptive.. I always enjoy going to any of their stores, and I don't think I've ever left without feeling like I got a great deal on just about everything I bought!!

The staff here is fantastic. Its a large store with plenty of parking. There are always good deals. The Bob's Red Mill section is fantastic! The area rug section offers lots of options. I'm sad that the buyers for the store seem to be unable to keep steady supply of organic coffee and olive oil. In the past they always had a large selection. I'd love to see art section offer more options but I do appreciate what they have at great prices. And again the staff makes this a great value store.

They've always got exactly what you need, and a whole bunch of fabulous things you didn't know you needed until you got there.Their prices can't be beat, their selection can't be beat, and now with all these crazy deals they offer, you can try all kinds of new things and not feel like you're taking a Financial Risk and getting something you won't like... because you're getting a crazy deal card, so if you don't like it you can use your crazy deal card to buy something else.It's a brilliant marketing strategy and I have certainly found all kinds of new products that I would never have tried otherwise, that I love and now buy all the time

I absolutely love Job Lot!! The staff is friendly and helpful. Great everyday prices, plus unexpected finds! The store is clean and laid out well. I had no trouble finding everything I was looking for, plus a few bonus items I didn't expect. Great place to stock up on beauty products and items to fill your pantry! Lots of snacks, with a wide variety. Liw prices on spices and staples. Excellent kitchenware.

I love Ocean State Job lot. Sometimes I go there not even needing anything and just walk around in fine stuff that I want or need. They have everything from crazy food items to assorted tools. I'll typically go to Ocean State Job Lot before I hit another store and see if they have it first. If ever I have to do something like painting or work in the yard I usually hit there first for paint supplies or rakes and shovels. It's not always the best quality but if I'm only looking to get a season or two out of it then I'll buy it there first. They do have some brand name items in there also. They're actually really good for seasonal items like pool supplies or snow shovels or Christmas items also. They actually do have a pretty good section for food I mean it's things I've never seen before but I'll try it out here in there. What's nice is they're all over the place too so you're never too far away from one. Typically you can get in and out pretty fast too. It's pretty funny they even have a little bit of clothing in there. I'm not sure I'd buy my air conditioner in there but I'd certainly buy my fans in there. All in all I recommend Ocean State Job Lot. there are a ton of times people will say that they're looking for something and I tell them they have those at Ocean State Job Lot.

Better selection than some job lots, but the staff is very hit or miss. The cashier I just had seemed pretty angry in general and double scanned some of my items. I'm not very confrontational, so I just paid, but I won't go back to this location until you can pick your own cashier again.

My visits to the Johnston store have always been very good. But the past 2 times I have encountered cashiers who seemed to get angry because I raised a question about the cost of a product. In my recent visit I ordered a case of Polar soda which was priced at $6.99 per case. The cashier charged me the per-six pack price instead. She called over the service manager. They insisted that it was not 6.99 per case. I went back to the display and took a photo clearly indicating the $6.99 price. They said that was not the price. Made up a story that it had something to do with taxes. Which I knew was incorrect. In frustration I kept quiet and left the store. But this left me feeling negative toward the store. It was another example of rude treatment by what appeared to be people who were very unhappy with their jobs.

Who doesn't love job lot? They are constantly getting new things in. My favorite thing to get here are spices and to try international candies and cookies for a low price. Sure, some job lots are better than others. I go to the one in Johnston. I think it's great. The one in Lincoln is also good.

Large accommodating lot . A pretty good variety of useful items for home , office, auto etc. While in that store I always discover something that I may need. I love the selection of reasonably priced art and stationary supplies. The food area displays many unique goods. I've purchased spices ,coffee, tea , and other quality products. Overall , it is a store to put together gift ideas.

Every time I have come, I have found the organizational structure to be poor. The same item is found multiple times throughout the store and similar items are not always grouped together. There is often dirt in the store. The staff is friendly and polite. It does have a collection of items that are hard to find at any other stores.

This location is a former Shaw's Supermarket, so it's very big. I noticed too many items didn't have prices, so that limited what I was willing to buy. I know they don't price everything, but at least the prices are usually on the shelves, but that wasn't the case. I would definitely change that because they are losing sales.
