Complaint: I've never been so frustrated by the lack of & diminishing services provided by CVS. A few months ago, a day after having eye surgery which left me unable to drive, I called CVS needing to speak to the pharmacist about side effects of my medication. After calling 3x in 12 hrs, no one ever called me, until 3 days later, after I had to ask a neighbor to take me to CVS to get an answer. \n\nThe 2nd time after a back procedure, in pain & barely able to walk, let alone drive.. I had to get in my car & drive to CVS to find out where my meds were? They said they hadn't filled my script because my insurance denied it. I asked, why diddn't someone call me? If they had they'd know they were using the wrong insurance info, instead of the correct information that I'd provided several months earlier. Instead they just held it, which seems to be totally irresponsible!You now have a voicemail system that says "leave a message for the pharmast and they'll return you call," sometimes you have to wait several days. Or refer to the CVS app, which can't answer questions. This is how CVS provides services to their customers now. I think it's freaking disgusting! And puts patients at risk.I've worked in government/public service for over 40+ yrs. If I or my staff ever conducted ourselves the way CVS does for such an essential service, I would've been investigated & out of a job.Note:In the past year I've been in communication with my benefits coordinator more than I've ever been since 1984! Last week after the last straw with CVS, I called & asked my coordinator if my co-pay would change if I switch to Walgreens. She said no, and added I'm not the only one complaining, she now fields constant complaints from employees & retirees regarding CVS.Beginning May 2024, I will no longer do business with CVS. My prescription plan is with CVS CAREMARK & unfortunately I can't change it. If I could I would. I also plan to call Senators Jack Reed & Sheldon Whitehouse with my concerns. I think the way CVS is effecting customers Healthcare should be investigated and CVS needs to re-evaluate how best to serve their customers.Do Better CVS. I'm done with you!

We were serviced by the pharmacist, Dan. We cannot rave about him enough!! He helped us get a FREE trial of a very expensive medication, ENRSTRO. He also gave us info on how we could apply for a deduction on our Enestro script. A true gem of a person!!!

I would like to thank Sabrina in the pharmacy she was so nice and saved me money on my prescription. I have never had a bad experience at CVS JOHNSTON. WE LOVE THEM.
