Friendly staff! FRESH ingredients, with lots of choices made for a great lunch. We had an Italian grinder and chicken salad wrap. Both were great. Gotta get a home made woopie pie too(peanut butter for me) and a Life by Chocolate dessert if available. Also, if you are looking for a place to eat it. There is a nice gazebo behind the ball field back by the Wood River.

Great little hidden away deli with fresh ingredients and great sandwiches. Stopped in here on the way out of town for a road trip and got a small Italian grinder with the works. Pictured here in this review. The bread was freshly baked and the sandwich was stuffed!

A true classic of Rhode Island, Ma & Pa’s is a great store with loads of charm! They have a young staff that is full of life and is always a pleasure to talk with. The grinders are TO DIE FOR! And if you are lucky, (meaning they haven’t sold out already) the hot prepared foods are always fantastic. It was my first time in and the kids made sure I got my first time whoopie pie! If all of the desserts are just as good, I’ll spend a fortune without regret! I can’t wait to come back!

They were soooo nice and communicative from the time we walked in to the door. It was my first time as a customer so they let me try their whoopie pie. It was incredible and then we got a sandwich from the deli and I literally couldn’t stop telling my boyfrIend how amazing it was all day. We got the peppered turkey, it was a simple sandwich that didn’t taste simple at all.I would totally recommend stopping here for lunch. We were in and out in 5 mins.We also got two pies from them, we haven’t tried them yet but I know they are going to be delicious!

Visiting sister in RI and always get grinders first thing. Great grinder.Bought peach pie on a whim ( I don't reallycare for cooked peac desserts) . It was the best peach pie have evereaten and the crust was superb. My compliments to the lady who made it. He son works there.

If I could give zero stars I would. We’ve been loyal customers. We eat here often. One day I told someone behind the deli that the last time we ordered sandwiches here that the bread was very hard and how out of the ordinary that was, the guy behind the deli decided to berate me and tell me how he gets bread delivered six days a week and if I don’t like it, I don’t have to eat it. They lost a faithful family of customers and supporters.

Wonderful little country store. Family owned and operated. Featuring great selection of meats and deli, homemade sandwiches & grinders, freshly baked delicious pies! Especially the chocolate cream pie. Fresh fruits and veggies, and other various items including pure Honey. But one of the things that stands out the most is this family's friendliness and willingness to serve all who enter. What a diamond in the rough! May God bless this business!!!

Nice little store that has a wonderful selection of local products and fresh made food. The grinder was one of the best I've ever had and the staff were amazing and friendly. Bonus points for also carrying Rich's Sweet Heat! If you're in Richmond and looking for a bite to eat, don't skip this place, its a real gem.

Just passing through to get a little Rhode Island culture stop. Fresh made pies. Awesome fresh deli. Ready to make grinders. They knew we were just passing through and would never come back but still offered us their Whoopi pies for free (every first time customer gets one). The least we could do is leave a good review. If we ever do you come back through this part of the country we will stop at Ma and Pas!

Great little country store with a little bit of everything! I have lived in the area for 6 years and stopped in today as I needed a loaf of bread. I left with some whoopie pies & homemade pasta salads. The deli counter offered a wide variety of items and the fresh cut meat looked out of this world, I cannot wait to go back and try it! The staff was great and so welcoming. I learned about packaged meats at GREAT prices that blow any big name store out of the water. Stop in, you won't be dissapointed!

This is a fantastic market! It is not just a market,it's an experience. The people that work there are so amazing, especially Christin! The meats are wonderful,the prices are great, deli terrific! But most amazing are the pies! Do not leave without one. I know you are thinking,oh it's just a market. No, it's an experience. Heading back to Florida for the winter,will truly miss this market,till next summer! Thanks ma and pas for great food!

Exceptional customer service and sandwiches! We have been helped by Christian many times, always super courteous and friendly. He is like a hummingbird, zooming from car to car at the pickup spots, taking and serving deliveries. Fast service and refreshingly great food. I highly recommend the cran-curry chicken salad - mouthwateringly good!

For a small room-sized store, they had a large variety of food: produce, frozen soups and meat, deli counter, cold bottled drinks, canned and dried goods. We bought a grinder from the deli counter: it was good. Wish there was a store like that near me.

Went with my bf, asked for whole milk and 2%. The nice young man came back out with whole milk explaining they didn't have any 2%, and gave us a free whoopie pie. Top notch service always from this quaint little market.
