Absolutely amazing groomer! I took my long haired cat there today during cats only time and had a great experience! We've had trouble finding a groomer who would accommodate Stevie since she's tiny and very skittish, so we're so so happy to have found such competent and friendly groomers! Stevie has mats in her long fur and they're especially bad around her backside, they took care of all of them and did an amazing job brushing through her super thick coat! I was also allowed to stay which I can't thank them enough for- Stevie is so skittish it meant a lot to me to be able to stay with her and keep her calm. 10/10 definitely recommend taking your cat here! Super friendly, know what they're doing and clearly care deeply about the animals they work with! Thank you so so much!

They did my dog's nails - it went very well. It was affordable, and they did a great job. The proceeds from a lot of what they do supports shelters and rescues, so that's a plus.My vet's clinic was bought by yet another big corporation, and the last time I brought my dog for nails/glands they charged me $66! Village Paws saved me from having to do that again. Additionally, VP uses a dremmel on the nails, so they were able to get them very short and smooth.They were very welcoming when we walked in, and got us in and out fast. We made an appointment, and it seems like this is the way to go, since the place is busy and kinda small.

Disgusting place. My father brought his three dogs here. Lady was so miserable at first and wasn’t happy that she actually had to work. But he went ahead a left them there to get groomed because they were reasonably priced. Upon picking them up, my dad noticed a big gash on the side of his 4lb maltipom. She insisted it was nothing, still pay full price, and put some glue over it.How do you trust a business with your own animals and they end up hurting them??? And still demanded full price???Place is a joke!Don’t go here unless you want your pups abused!

Took my Rottweiler linkie bear today to get a wash and proper grooming and I must say I am extremely satisfied with the care and service I received today .I will be taking my dog there every month so now my dog has a great groomer. Service 5 ⭐ dog handling 5 ⭐ .they went on and beyond with my pets needs and care .if you need a fantastic groomers call them you will thank me later .

Everyone there is absolutely the greatest. They treat my dog Keiko so well and tell me how sweet she is every time I take her in. I highly recommend going to them for all grooming needs. The prices are very reasonable.

Allison did such a wonderful job with Kaylee. I will be coming back for sure. I will come during the week though by ourself so it not such a long visit next time, seeing we had 4 dogs total being done.

I’ve taken both of my fur babies here twice so far and have been very happy about the experience! They didn’t leave shaking and looking scared like they did with our previous groomer. They’re also generally very anxious dogs, but when I picked them up, they seemed fine and not nervous at all. I wanna give a special shout out to Jenna and Kaitlyn especially for taking such great care of my two dogs last time we brought them in. They were very communicative about every detail so you didn’t leave worrying if your babies were in good hands or not, you just knew they were. You could tell those two ladies cared for every pet they groomed and put love into the work!

My dog had his first appointment yesterday and the staff was amazing with him. He's on the nervous side but they clearly took their time with him and he seemed calmer afterwards than coming home from other groomers. The staff is extremely nice and it is clear they care about the animals. Highly recommend and will definitely go back!!

I brought my shihtzus there and was completely satisfied with the woman that groomed them. She went to Ponaganset High School awhile back. I tipped her well.She's not there anymore and the woman that had done my dogs about 3 other times had a bad personality, she was impatient when I arrived a little late (15 min) due to traffic and her voice over the phone was annoyed. Another time I brought them there her personality was still the same not too sociable. So I'm all set with my dogs feeling that. Found another grooming place. Nothing against the business,,just that one woman unfortunately.

Jules is a true gem!! Welcomed my recently adopted Yorkie, DOLLIE with open armsMy 14 year old Yorkie, TIA, who had been a guest at Village Paws for many years passed last August. I decided to open my heart and home to adopt an 7 year old Yorkie. Although she’s only been with me for two weeks now Jules was on our priority to do list!!Jules and her amazing staff treated us royally!! …and TIA (my sweet Angel) approves!!!Thank you!!!!! Not only did they do a bad job of grooming my pet, he was also cut and no one told me!!! His face was trimmed crooked, one side is fluffy and the other side is shaved close. Between his legs is a huge chunk of hair that wasn't finished being shaved off and is just hanging there. Today when I picked him up to put him next to me I noticed he had three cuts on the inside of his arm. That is something that I would have watched to make sure he did not get infected because they're scabbed over. Things happen I understand that, however he has not been the same since this grooming appointment and I really have to wonder what happened since I wasn't informed by the groomer.! I also need to mention they seem to over book and even early in the morning there were already way too many dogs there and it seemed chaotic.

All the employees are so sweet and special. This was first time going there. My dog is 14 yrs old. He came out not shaking was extra special. Plus they don't cut his nails they filed his nails. Did a great job shaving him also.

I found Village Paws to be very unprofessional, specifically, Jules. Our dog was brought in for a groom, came back with an unsatisfactory haircut and a cut on his eye. Being unhappy, I felt we should voice our dismay. I went around and around in text messages with Jules. I run a business myself and have never experienced the rude and nasty behavior I did with this woman. Putting all issues aside regarding the dog, the behavior of this person was appalling and incredibly unpleasant to deal with. Her terrible attitude and huge "dog grooming "ego" was incredibly unattractive and sad. Not sure this review will make a difference but I would suggest taking your pet to another groomer if your looking for a pleasant experience for both you and your pet.

This is the 3rd time I’ve used Village Paws and was happy with my first 2 experiences. Today I dropped my dog off and when they called me to say he was ready they said that he chewed through his harness. When I got there no one apologized and I was even charged an extra $10 more than the last time! I will not be going back. For one my dog should not have been left with his harness on but mistakes do happen. Someone should have at least apologized and I should not have been charged more than I have at previous visits.

What a bad phone experience called to make an appointment for the first time .They asked for the paperwork on my poodles shots .I explains that I just moved in the area thay were packed away. I'm looking didn't have them available then proceeds to say she take the name and number of my veterinarian and call them .Now I understand completely but give me a break I've never been asked this in my life . When I proceeded to explain saying no thank have a nice day .Then I receive a call back from some other rude woman explained again that they would call my veterinarian . I said no thank you I'll find another so the woman precedes to say good luck with that and hung up the phone on me. Thank God my papers are packed. Not the place for my beautiful poodle. How dear they call me back after I said no thank very nicely and then to say good luck with that and hang up on a person I don't think so!Beware sounded very crazy in the back round a lot of noise loud talking .I know when I take my dog I don't want all that going on .There nervous enough and to be inan environment like that they don't need all that talking and yelling going on. I'm in shock right now so RUDE!!!!!
