We absolutely love pet foods plus! We get all of our bird, food, dog food and rabbit food there as well as count on them to watch our 32-year-old cockatoo while we are away!Sydney and I cannot thank Pet Foods Plus enough for taking such good care of him while we were away.He is literally like a toddler who needs lots of attention, love & redirection 🤣 we love him very much and it’s good to know that there is a place that he can stay and be well taken care of while we are away 💙

Clean family run store with a great selection of just about everything staff was super knowledgeable and nice. I went in looking for fish but they didn't really have the type of fish I keep. But the tanks were really clean and all the fish looked active and healthy. Also found out the owner lives right up the street from me, so maybe I can see if he can get different types of fish in.

I love this store. I’ve been going here for years for most of my pets needs and they are always very helpful and the owner is very generous. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to support small shops that definitely care about their customers. I’ve never had an issue here.

Walked to the service desk to ask a question where I found a young dark haired girl sitting at the counter behind a book, she was holding the book up in front of her face. So I excused myself and politely asked, "can you tell me where I can find cat treats please." She literally did not say a word but briefly pulled the book down a bit, enough so her eyes were just over the top, pointed her finger, I presume in the direction of the cat treats, and then lifted the book back up in front of her face. This was the first time Id ever been in the store. Was good for a laugh at least.

Best location in Bristol for all your needs, food, floating harness and all needs. Super family and customer service have never seen anything like it. This father and son team are the real thing they care about their operation and other people's pets. My wife and I will only use them. Super service every time, they even deliver

Every time i go in i am greeted with happy and pleasant service, no matter what time of the day it is. i go in there for all my puppies needs. most times i see the owner of the store who is always happy to meet your pets and will make your and your pets visit a happy one. all questions i have about food, toys and supplies they have the knowledge to answer them. i was recently told that they also deliver pet food if over a $25 or $35 cant remember right now. didn't get to much detail last time i was there because i was on my way to work. i recommend this pet store to everyone who has a a pet in the Bristol area.

My parents went to this pet store all the time as a kid.Today I had been looking to purchase a ferret and ended up not doing so due to discomfort.It was a friendly Ferret but an awful staff. The animals were in very smelly conditions. And the cages were barely kept.The manager kept peaking uncomfortably at my fiancé and I while we had been browsing the store. He rudely asked one time, “what do you guys want?”I didn’t know that this was the representation of great customer service and it needs a nice cleaning. :)

excellent store, super nice staff ,and high quality animals and the only pet store that I know that keeps their puffer fish in brackish water (their safest environment) most stores compromise the health of the fish and put them in freshwater (which they will survive in for a wail but will not thrive in) so they can sell them to unsuspecting fish lovers I love this store I drove all the way there from new Bedford and bought a green spotted and a figure 8 puffer and they are both very healthy and I could not be happier I will be back for more fish very soon

The small animals, especially the guinea pigs were kept in gross, filthy cages. We bought a month old guinea pig, and within four days we discovered she had mites and was sick. It explains the sketchy no return policy they have with animals. Will never support this business again.
