Fun to stop by here and there to view at any new arrivals that’ll make me feel like spending to add into the home!1/12/2023 Update: I gave one star due to visiting this store twice to notice they don’t have new arrivals where they usually do every week whenever I stopped by. I guess it’s either they needed time for the items to be purchased from patrons before they add more onto the shelves or if it’s just me. This used to be my top main spot to shop. Now, I won’t be returning anytime soon. Homegoods it’ll be.

This store has friendly staff, affordable prices, and a great selection. This is where the positive comments ends.Normally, I don’t post negative reviews but I think I need to provide a “buyer beware” warning for this company. On Saturday, August 26, 2023, I noticed that I was charged sales tax on an 8-pack of black dress socks that I bought that day. Pennsylvania is a tax-exempt state for clothing, so I was baffled why I was charged such a tax. I initially thought it was because my sock were made of a material that was taxed in PA. Therefore, I found out for myself earlier this morning and found out the reason why was because “we have to charge sales tax in PA but people have been driving to MD to shop because that state doesn’t charge sales tax on clothing..” I know for a fact that the opposite is true. The clerk was apologetic with my disappointment so I believe from my observations that Marshall’s and TJ Maxx use shady business tactics such as sneakily putting sales tax on things that shouldn’t be taxed. I know it’s doubtful I’ll be returning anytime soon.Be careful with what you buy at Marshall’s/TJ Maxx; that deal may have a little “surcharge” in Pa. Luckily my tax was roughly the cost of adding a flavor syrup to a coffee at Starbucks.

Great selection of clothing, home goods etc. Staff here are always friendly with customers. They also seem to get along well with each other. If that is not the case then they definitely hide it well. They frequently ask the customers if they need assistance. Staff is knowledgeable regarding products in the store. The store has a welcoming vibe.

Goodness I love Marshalls. I especially love the soaps and candles at this one. Not a ton for clothing in my size but definitely a bunch of home goods and beauty supplies

York Marshalls participated in Black History Month with this display. I loved that about them. Especially when I miss my hometown of Washington DC. Then I go shopping at my sweet spot. Pocket 5% cash back.....and walk out Singing 🎶 🎵.

While at first glance the store would seem organized, it's actually organized chaos. Products are thrown wherever they want, whether by design or from customers not putting items back (but the staff obviously don't care). The products are expensive considering you can by the same or similar items at competitors at a lower price. There never seems to be a staff member on the floor to answer questions or greet you, as they're all at the cashiers ringing as slowly as they can.

Nice discount department store. Clean and well organized with good prices. The pantry selection is amazing and they get alit of seasonal decor and specialty items. Not the biggest clothing selection but all the basics And what they do have is good quality. It's a great anchor store for the mall. If you go mall working don't pass this one up.

Purchased a shirt/pant set for my daughter yesterday and found there was a blue stain on the shirt which was covered by the pants. Lucky me, today went back in and they had another set and just allowed us to swap the shirt no return process no fuss in and out in less than 5 minutes

This is a fun place to shop. You never know what bargain you might find. It's fun checking out their new seasonal decor with each holiday. It is conveniently located in the Galleria mall or has its own outside entrance too.

Great, clean store with a huge selection. Products vary so you need to go back often to see what they offer. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. The skincare section is one of the best! You can find quality product for cheap.

I'm a Marshall's fan. This particular store was no exception. Full of great deals, nice and clean store. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was because my son was looking for clothes and the men's department was very small and limited.

Everything i saw tonight was junk junk junk,very trashy! Saw bitta ugly skin stuff, but not good leather. Looked like pig to me! Needs to be removed n replaced with quality! Only im out of this world impressive with true quality. Ill be going home for that tho!

Bought 400 dollars worth of items, tried to return on pair of leggings and was told we can’t because they had “pillings”, your customer service sucks and your employees need some customer service retraining. Total joke. Your receipt says “30 days return for store credit “

The merchandise selection is always changing and the deals are great. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that whenever I'm shopping, there are associates having personal conversations griping about other staff members. Unprofessional!

Went here for mens Tahari white v - neck tee shirts. No Tahari tee's in stock but still purchased some great Calvin Klein tee's instead. The store had a wide selection of men's sleepwear and is always well stocked. Located in the York Galleria Mall with plenty of parking. The mall also now has the new casino as an additional attraction. Still a good location to shop with plenty of parking.

Handicap parking and access to public restrooms with handicap bathroom and stalls. Wheelchair accessible. Easy access to free parking lot.In Galleria Mall. Many other stores to shop at in mall.

I personally do not care for this Marshalls. It's cluttered and a poor shopping layout. It's way overkill with Covid restrictions. It's almost June and their dressing rooms are still not open. They expect you to buy clothes take them home, try them on and bring them back for a return if you don't like them. The front doors are guarded by staff in purple gloves and the registers are fully barricaded in white plastic walls and plexiglass. Other stores (like Target and American Eagle) are handling Covid safety in a much less invasive way. Might help if the hasmat staff at least greated you with a friendly hello, smile or a wave. It gives me anxiety shopping in this store even prior to all this. Hopefully this review finds management and they can make some much needed improvements to this Marshalls location.
