Very good grocery store to find good food for cheap. They have a good bakery, as well as sections dedicated to different countries, which is very neat to look at. They always have things in stock, and it’s one of the easiest places for us to go if we are just stopping in for a few things.

I've seen better prices elsewhere and was a bit disappointed. Some things weren't too badly priced, the shelves are well stocked. Self checkout is a plus. I'll come back for certain things if need be. I like that they have local produce and a bakery arra.

Great deals. Help issues frozen food sitting in ilse for the whole time I was shopping. Got a breakfast bowl you could tell it thawed in the store everything frozen to one side.

Normally I love this place. prices quality and options are all some of the best. But I don't think I will ever go back. There is 1 staff member that always has singled me out shamed and berated me because of my service dog.This last time there was an unexpected accident. My dog had been walked he gave no warning and had a sudden accident. I was so embarrassed I instantly cleaned it up left the dog with my caretaker and got cotton rounds and rubbing alcohol. Normally I keep sanitizing wipes in my bag but I had run out. I came back to the spot and cleaned it with alcohol.This woman waited till I was heading to the check out a good deal of time later to verbally attack me and kick my service dog out. As I was heading for the check out I had no choice but to send my dog out with my caretaker. However this was a mistake. My dog not being with me was not able to warn me I was about to have an attack. My caretaker being with the dog was not there to help me and I collapsed.The management was wonderful and apologized for the situation but nonetheless I was denied the services that keep me safe because of 1 staff member who always has been attacking me verbally because I have a service dog. So I will never be shopping there again.

I've been anxiously waiting for Lidl's 2 open since I 1st saw the sign go up and the article in the newspaper 2+yrs ago. I had looked the company us online last year just to see what it was all about. It's my understanding that Lidl's s is a German based grocery chain but is also everywhere. They are a cross between Aldi's, Giant & k-mart. I finally got to visit the store for my 1st time today. I was VERY PLEASED. They had EVERYTHING I was looking for, plus so much more. Everything I bought today was cheaper than I'd spend regularly at Giant. They sells all of your grocery needs, they have a bakery bakes fresh bread daily as well as Donuts, soft pretzels and rolls just to name a few. They also have some gardening/outdoor needs, plants for both outside & indoors and fresh cut flowers. They have 2 aisles that have all sorts of tools, blankets, pillows, baby clothes, toys, household needs, sleeping bags. The only thing that there wasn't a large variety of was dog/cat food & needs. Dont get me wrong there was a decent variety for this pets it's just that my cat and dog will only eat a specific brand of foods and use a specific brand of cat litter and neither of those things were available here what's your sign with me. I definitely recommend you taking the time to stop by and check out this new store if you're in the York area.

Very disappointed with seasonal staff. I come here often for the last three years and have never had an issue . My child took a piece of broccoli off the stalk we were buying, a woman very rudely told me i could not do that. Understanding i took it from my child to pay for . She harassed me after , making loud comments to coworkers and even made sure she checked me out while i was leaving. I have never met such an unkept unruly woman , and i work retail myself . She refused to hand me my receipt , made comments about being gross that she had to ring up the broccoli that i removed from my child so they could weigh and i could pay, and even made rude comments about my form of payment .I do not understand why she felt the need to be so disrespectful when i did exactly what she asked . I know the holidays are hard , but at least she has a job. She is paid to do correctly, and I’m disgusted they just allow anyone to work here.

Like everywhere prices have gone up again. Limited things were a good deal. Sign up for the app. Chocolate bars now $2. A lot of items I can't afford anymore. We are going with out and make the best of it, like most people here in the USA.

The one manager is so rude, even when a sign has a deal and all the items are there and the sign states “variety” she refused to honor the sign . You need managers with better people skills. She totally sucks at her job. She refused to give her name but I got her walking away

Very impressed, no longer have to travel an hour to Trader Joe’s was able to find comparable items it’s a nice mixture of a “Trader Joe’s and Aldi combined, great selection & great prices .

Every visit is an adventure. The produce is good, the cheese section is fun (with all the European style stuff), the seasonal section always contains a surprise, and best of all…the staff is always helpful.

Wide variety of products from fresh produce to fresh baked goodies. Staff is very polite and helpful and the prices are way better than your Giants and Weis'If you haven't checked it out, you have to go at least once. They DO charge for shopping bags, but it isn't much. You can buy the reusable ones.

The store is very nice and has some good quality food as in Europe.Fresh pastry is amazing, finally a place with salty pastries.Store managers, please let the cashiers sit, having them standing is torture and would be illegal in many places. Again, please give them chairs and let them sit!

My first time at this Lidl location. Newer store with good parking and access. I downloaded the Lidl App and started saving money immediately. Fresh bakery items available but not much selection left when I was there. Very pleasant and quick checkout. If you are new to the Lidl and their Stores check them out for savings if you are in the area.

Love this store! Never heard of it and one day I saw it and stopped in and now I cannot stop coming back! Only downside is every time I have came here anytime I get to the register I’ve never once had a good experience. I’ve always said hello first to start conversation and got nothing back and then rushed along with pushing my items down the conveyor belt and starting a new order because I take a little long to get my groceries in my cart. Never once had good customer service always feel judged when I’m here but love the store and the customers I get along with. I always come here. Discounted food and Better than aldis and any other discounted food store I’ve been to. Your for sure good competition to any store I’ve been to

I love looking at all the fun, random things that theu carry. You can always find an unexpected treat, and the prices are great.However, this is more of a plan your meals around what they have store than a store you go to to get what you need to make your planned meals. So keep in mind that they may not have a few things on your list, and you might need to stop at a more "conventional" grocery store too!

I love Lidl! It's not a place I shop at often because it's out of my normal shopping area - I pass 4 grocery stores and a bunch of farm stands to get there. But every time I go, I leave a happy customer. They have a nice produce section, a great bakery, and good selection of meat - all at fair prices.

They have a little bit of everything. Always stocked and clean the workers are amazing and helpful I love the assortment of flowers and fresh baked breads. Bring ya bags get the app and save on purchases. Hope this helps

The reason I only gave you 2 stars is because your freezers are filthy. I don't think they have been cleaned since the opened. You have enough help that you can have all freezers at all times. Its nasty.
