I cannot say enough great things about Leader Heights animal hospital.“All of the staff” are amazing, and very compassionate.They excel in the treatment of all our fur babies.The veterinarians , the Animal technicians, and the receptionists are extremely diligent about making appointments asap.They treat all of our fur babies as if they were their own.This is the animal hospital to take your fur babies to..🐾😉🤗

I have a bun named marble and they were so kinds from start to finish. Moving from Maryland I was cautious in vet selection & a new friend highly recommend this sweet spot 😇 it was beautiful structured with mindful prices. I'm excited to bring my pup in next time

My dog Hades was in extreme pain and could hardly walk, I called the vet and explained the problem,they got Hades in the very next day. Hades was scheduled for X-rays that same day but due to inclement weather it was not possible and reschedule him for later that week and sent Hades home with pain meds. The next morning we noticed that Hades was having more pain and couldn’t go to the bathroom, so we called and they got us in the same day and gave us a diagnosis. I really appreciate the staff and the peace that comes with trusting them with my baby.

I really love the location and Staff of this company. However, when you rescue multiple dogs, it's a bit expensive and even though you bring them in together, there's no discount for sharing an appointment like there is in other places. One of my Pups gets car sick, so close is preferred. But, I'm not so sure if long term I'll be able to afford to continue to use them. Otherwise... amazing staff. 👏

The entire Leaders Height’s AH team has been so good to our boy. Even not having been an existing patient they took us in the same day for a serious concern and have repeatedly made time in the schedule as it’s been an ongoing issue for our cat. Every single team member we’ve had the pleasure of interacting with has been great, and I really can’t say enough how much we appreciate it!

My one-year-old golden retriever was injured and I was anxious to get her in to be seen. They were able to schedule me for an urgent care visit (which is more costly) but I loved the care that Finley received through Dr. Grove. They were very open to me insisting that x-rays be taken that day, which meant that she had to be sedated and x-rayed over the course of a couple of hours. In the end, I got a definitive diagnosis and a treatment plan was put into place. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the level of care at Leader Heights veterinary Hospital.

Going back to when this place first opened so possibly new management. Took my older German shepherd inwas very ill. Was living near Glen Rock and on Friday morning called to see how she was doing. Was told she was doing good but they wanted to keep her for the weekend. No problem right, happy to here doing good. Short while later had to go to York and decided to stop and see my dog. She was not only dead but totally stiff. My dog didn't t die and get stiff like that in 1 hour. Despicable people.

Dr. Derbin was very responsive to my concerns, she definitely has an excellent bedside manner, and was patient and caring during the visit. Went here for a second opinion, she helped formulate a care plan I'm comfortable with. Highly recommend. Got in very quickly, office staff was pleasant and helpful as well.

Always excellent. Have been going there for 29 years and the services are great. Everyone is very friendly and compassionate. My dog and I love our Vet, Dr. Kelly. She gives lots of treats.

Leader Heights Animal Hospital is amazing! I brought my white cat in for the first time two days ago for a second opinion regarding upper respiratory issues. Not only did Dr. Ruszala come up with a better treatment plan for Honeysuckle than the previous vet ever did, but she diagnosed two other significant issues- severe dental disease requiring full extraction of all teeth, and a bilateral ear infection. Dr. Ruszala was extremely thorough and made it a point to show me exactly what was going on with my cat’s teeth and ears. I was so impressed by her care, attention to detail, and competence in diagnosing my cat, that I will now be transferring my other four cats to the practice. The level of professionalism and care at this practice from all of the staff is top-notch. So happy I decided to bring my cat here!

We are always happy with the team at Leader heights Animal hospital, but I wish they wouldn't take us into an examination room until they're actually ready to meet with us. My dog gets very nervous in the small examination rooms and when we sit for any length of time before the vet or technician sees us, my dog is just about climbing the walls, very tense and agitated.

I was in the area from Florida and needed a blood test run. They were very accommodating and got me in and took care of it. Staff is very kind and personable. It's nice to find a nice animal hospital in this area when I am visiting family. Thank you!

I recently had my first experience at leader heights animal hospital and it far surpassed my expectations. They explained everything to me heavily in detail, on the phone and in person. Gave me many options, were very kind, and made it a point to comfort my dog as they were examining him. I was blown away, and wish I’d found this place sooner.

Make sure you are PERFECT while they make mistakes because let’s be honest your vet office we all know you make mistakes. But let me elaborate.My wife started getting sick the evening before. That morning tested positive for Covid. I get home and do my at home test (I’m symptomless for reference). During my test I get a call from the vet office saying we missed our dogs shot appointment at 4pm. Okay, I had 6pm in my calendar so 100% my fault. I ask about rescheduling and get told I have to pay the “no show fee”. Again, understandable especially since I wrote down the wrong time. I ask how much that was and get told “$68” … I didn’t wait to explain anything. I just asked how do I go about paying the fee so I can take my business elsewhere.My point of explaining all this is, make sure you are perfect and life doesn’t happen because you’ll be hit with an outrageous “no-show fee” right out of the gate. Not a one time “hey don’t do it again”. Or a $30 fee or some kind of increasing fee system but $68.Funny thing of this whole story is while I was on hold (receptionist didn’t even know how I go about paying the no-show fee) my test pops positive…guess i did everyone a favor by accidentally writing down the wrong appointment time.

Our little dog honey was suffering from diarrhea and vomiting. I was able to get a same-day appointment and they were able to give her some medication to help her feel better. Next day she’s showing more appetite and certainly better than before. The doctor was very kind and explained everything that was going to be done. The assistant also was able to answer my questions. I feel comfortable taking our loved one to this veterinarian.

Our 4 months old puppy was treated for an infection in both ears. We had been to our regular vet 3 times recently, you know, frequent puppy shots, and even though they "checked" his ears every time, they seemed to have missed it. It is a bad infection in both! Will be switching to Leader Heights from this point forward. I understand he was seen there because we were concerned with him scratching them. And that we didn't bring that up to our vet because he wasn't scratching at the time. But I feel like they would have checked him out a little better, especially with as frequent as we would have been there.

Lovely experience starting from the front desk ladies making sure we were being helped! Super spacious waiting room to allow my pup to wonder & sniff around! My pup felt super comfortable with the Doc that took her back & was done getting fixed up ASAP! Happy camper unless her cone is on lol!

Dr. Cheek and the vet techs are amazing. They do everything they can to help your pet feel better and to give you peace of mind while actually caring about you and your pet. They stayed late so I could take my cat in last minute when he was sick on multiple occasions, as well as coming in early for blood work.
