This was my favorite grocery store, up to the moment when I got blackberries and they had mold, then I got avocados, and out of 10 only 2 were okay, others I threw away. Look at the picture. It is all on the shelves to buy.You should take better care of themI'm still unhappy with stuff I got and had to throw away!But the variety of products here is better than in other, that's why 2 starts instead of 1.

Rene from the Deli/Kitchen is amazing! Last minute 2 hours before my son's birthday party KFC where I had originally ordered chicken from for pick up called to tell me they didn't have any morning staff to make my order. Frantically I stopped into giant to see if there was any way I could do a 36 peice order of fried chicken. RENE made it happen for me on short notice and had it all ready to go in 30 minutes. Thank you!!!

Absolutely horrible and will not be returning which is sad considering the selection of items. But the customer service just isn't there. While shopping in the center I have also seen giant employees harassing associates in the surrounding stores. Why would they hire someone with no decency to act professionally to a fellow retail worker doing their job. But it's no surprise considering they treat guests just as bad in their own store.

I visit this store on a regular basis. The staff are (for the most part) very nice. Cece, Rita, Linda, Nora, Dawn,Lori, Andy, and Abby just to name a handful. The store is older but clean generally speaking. I think their management team could use a tune up though. There are often times that help is needed at the registers even thought there are a lot of employees there . Shelves and freezers aren’t stocked in one spot but over stocked in others etc. A lot of the younger kids that work there are often on their phones, especially in the beer garden .

Just left your store (10:17 p.m.) and enjoyed having to walk to the other end of the parking lot to get to my car even though you could have put a sign up that stated the entrance I parked at was going to be locked. I am a physically disabled person and it was really fun having to make the extra long Trek back to my car after spending my money at your location.

It's convenient close to my house, the workers are friendly and helpful. The sushi 🍣 is great there and at a good price. They have great food selection. And the chicken breast rotisserie when I don't cook that's my choice and the price the chicken already cooked for only 9.9. That's a great deal. 👌

NovemberThis place is a JOKE!!! I came here a few weeks ago to get a few groceries my family needed. Had an issue at self checkout went to customer service and an employee named Crystal was extremely rude to me wouldn’t let me explain anything to her about my issue. Told her I’d just take a refund she gave me the refund but decided to throw my money at me for whatever reason. I asked for a manager and was told no manager was there. Also two other employees sat and watched this lady do all of this. I was threatened with the cops if I didn’t leave the store. I called the store the next day and was told by the manager that she was on her way up there and why did I leave. I was threatened with the cops. Would you stay? They acted like they didn’t care. Then another manager calls me to tell me they are sorry and that I would receive a gift card that I never received. I also after the fact tried to use them again for giant direct the lazy employee Alexis lied and gave me the substitute I didn’t want. And also a few other things weren’t substituted either. So that manger also sent me a “gift card” to cover the things that were messed up. I told her my address wasn’t right on giant account they basically told me nothing they can do. I am just not gonna use giant at all. I’ll take my business else we’re. I also should prolly call and press charges on the employee whom through money at me! I never received an apology from her I also was basically told she might still be there and she won’t do it again! Trash store! Lazy, nasty workers🛑🛑🛑UPDATE 🛑🛑🛑12/10/23Went here tonight to do some shopping went to the lottery closes to the produce area. I yet again see Crystal the same person I had issues with last month. She was standing at customer service desk. She was in plain clothes not giant uniform standing at the counter talking to another women employee. She kept looking at me pointing and laughing. I can’t believe I considered shopping here after what happened last month but I went here tonight. I am glad that Giant finds this a joke and game because at this point this is harassment I shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable in a store where I spend my hard earned money. I also can’t believe she’s still employed here after the behavior that she displayed last month. I am to the point to where I am going to press charges and also contact an attorney because I am sick of being harassed by this employee. I walked by her and didn’t say anything to this nasty lady. But she felt it necessary to do what she did. They claimed to send me a gift card I NEVER received. I spoke to a manager in the store whom at the time was in the hospital she took my information down and still sent it to the wrong address and never made anything right. Then tells me they have great audio and cameras in the store like I was lying. I told her great check the cameras and you’ll see how nasty and disgusting this lady is. And now to find out she’s still employed there is also wrong. I am also going to contact the CEO of the company to let them know how NOTHING was done and I am still being harassed by this same person while in the store. (Crystal) I am completely done with shopping with giant at this point and will take my business elsewhere. This giant needs to fire all management involved that did NOTHING and this gross employee for how she acted towards me. They also sent out the goofy lookin security guard like he was gonna do something 😂🤣

The front lobby of this particular Giant Food store, no longer houses the empty carts. They're now kept outside in the weather. This is to make room for lazy people who phone in orders and don't want to go shopping for themselves. They use that lobby for the store shoppers carts for phone in orders. Also, those Store employee shoppers push their carts very aggressively and discourteously throughout the store as they gather a food order. Very unpleasant environment to shopping. Will be doing more of my grocery shopping at the Shurfine store and Walmart going forward.

This Giant location is WAY better than all the other locations in the Dover, Hanover, York Area. They have a lot more of a selection of EVERYTHING. This store is always cleaner, more organized & well staffed to handle a high volume of customers during the check out process.

Love their seafood market with fresh seafood. I always come here for live lobsters and have them steamed for free. Friendly staff always me feel very welcome.

Giant food stores in West York is generally a poor experience if you have to interact with any of the department employees.Generally the cashiers are pleasant and courteous.Four employees in the deli one week and only one of them is serving a waiting customer. The priority is often kiosk orders instead of real time customers. They have a serious issue here and no desire to fix it.This time the fail is a total lack of help. Please take note of the seemingly new employee in my picture attempting to serve 4 customers in line. It took 20 minutes to be served this time. We were the next in line behind the person being served. It's a new record!Looks like the "Owner" responded to my review. Canned response similar to all the others. Couldn't have bothered to check the name they copied and pasted into the response. I don't believe my name is Dean. I promise that I will not return and will advise others to do the same.

I had to give a one star just to get this out there. I thought this store was a good store and planning to keep spending money there.And then I find out that my Esa dog is not allowed in the store it is a service dog she is doing her service to keep me calm as I shop. So that is why I give it a one star and the watermelon there when I had it last taste like mop water.

Consistently good at what they do. The produce is good. Over the years I'm shop there the Giants that I use tend to have consistently good produce. Lately they've been doing a good job of getting the 2 L soda back to pre pandemic prices of under $3. They also have fully surprisingly ample items available for EBT SNAP including gift cards and flowers for your wife.Reason why I say the locations I go to the thing I learned is that out of three wies Grocers I've gone to, only one of them cares about their produce.

It's a large store rabbit Transit got there before I got checked out. The driver looks pretty young but I'm going on. She helped me get the packages on and off the bus and put the heavy one on my porch. I don't like doing surveys. Or rating things. But rabbit Transit gets a five from me you could almost say there a lifesaver.

They have a well stocked organic section and I always find a variety of things to try. The West York store is always very clean.Even though they are pushing the self checkout concept they still have plenty of registers open.This store has definitely improved over the years.
