I've never had someone in customer service be so rude to me. I asked to get a balloon filled with helium, to which the manager (according to receipt her name is hadiah), said that they don't fill balloons not from the store. I told her I had done it before and she said she would charge me for a balloon and do it to which I agreed. When I asked why she charged me for 3 balloons she said if I was going to make a fuss about it she wouldn't do it at all. I said I'm not, I have every right to ask about why I'm being charged for something? She said forget it I'm not doing it and proceeded to take the charge off. I did not say anything and then she proceeds to tell the line behind me sorry because I am holding the line up. Then she said I could try dollar tree, I said I don't care (at this point I'm done. Like why are you giving me suggestions after refusing me service?) I grabbed my bags and she followed me out the door and screamed "go to party city and stop being so cheap!" I am shocked

Cashier was absolutely rude. First time I've ever had a cashier yell at me. It's somehow my fault that she doesn't know which numbers correspond to months. She could've even asked to see my ID, but she felt yelling was more appropriate

Was just at dollar general and the manager was rude and nasty because I am asking questions on prices. Told me if I asked any more she would not allow me to buy. I explained I was not rude or combative. She tells me she's was trying to eat. I am a customer and I was being nice and I explained I wasn't doing anything. She told next customer that she wanted to take a pic of me so I couldn't come back. That customer is a friend of mine and she was saying stuff that was not true. I've never been in that store and she needs retrained or fired. None of the people with me will ever go back.

Never anyone to assist you in the store. On several occasions I had driven to the store and found a hand written sign on the door - Closed until 4pm. That's frustrating. I called the next time to make sure they were open and was told that it's been weeks since they had been closed mid day. The defensive attitude wasn't really called for or necessary. I know of three occasions that they were closed, so I didn't feel it was unreasonable to confirm before going there. That staff is less then friendly. I love the store, but the service level is not good by any means. It's like a self service store.... right up to the time of checkout.

The one cashier was very rude to my wife when she was trying to confirm that a coupon had been applied. The cashier told her you already saved a lot, basically trying to get her to avoid asking anymore about the additional coupon. My wife checked out and went to get car to review the receipt. The coupon had not been applied. She returned the items. The cashier again tried to keep the product at the price. The manager ended up returning the item for my wife, and was very nice. The manager on duty was great, the cashier not so much.

Huge CLOSED sign has been on the door ALL WEEK!! Might as well just close this store permanently. Don't rely on this store to be open. Just go the extra miles and go to WEIS or GIANT.

The store on Course Rd in Spry was doing great when they first opened , well that surely has changed , the store is only open half the time and there is a hand written note left on the door saying store closed but yet the Web site say's it's open , If they're ganna close it then they need to do it , Course Rd York,Pa. store a JOKE

It is a nice store and has everything. I can see why dollar stores keep coming up everywhere. You can find just about anything here. Perfect store for getting small or last minute gifts. Will definitely always come here occasionally.

If I could put zero Stars I would the reason for the one star is because they only have one employee that does her job is nice to customers etc everyone else that works here is lazy ignorant and just straight up rude this place is a joke

Very clean and organized store. Registers were having issues but manager was able to help. Prices were great for many items. Have a $1.00 section which has some great values.

Judy is rude. Pushed a cart at me when I was walking towards her to grab it from her walking into store like she was mad I wanted it. Then Pushed passed me without saying excuse me. Grumpy and rude

I really enjoy shopping at the Dollar General on Lombard Rd.Red Lion because it's clean,usually they have the shelves stocked, and the workers are helpful and friendly.

Check your receipt. I bought indoor snowballs, buy 1 get 1 50% off. I was charged full price for both. Only noticed after I had thrown out the receipt but saw the summary on Fetch Rewards.
