By far worse experience one can ever ask for so if you were thinking to go to CVS, choose another one the one in Richmond Avenue is horrible. They got people coming and taking us a joke I am playing. Meanwhile, staff is nowhere to be seen.

I would give 0 stars if I could! Horrible service, always long waits, and no one ever answers the phone! Hours have been cut as well, which takes away the only reason I was still going there, convenient location. You're better off going somewhere a little further away!

Pharmacy is not staffed according to hours, wasn't staffed at all today. I was in around 1:30pm was told they'd open at 2. I had appointments to keep and went back around 6pm, still not open and cashier said no one showed up to open it at all. When they do this, they don't even give the front cashiers a way to sell the OTC meds that just require an ID and signature. This is in a neighborhood where people walk to it and may not have a vehicle to go somewhere else.

pharmacy workers are horrible. they won’t ever answer the phone even for doctors offices. i have had a prescription here for over a month that i need and they keep giving me the run around, it doesn’t help that they never answer the phone and if they do they hang up on you after waiting 30 minutes. they won’t do their jobs, it is by far the WORST pharmacy in all of york.

Would give this place o stars if possible. Just went at 8:15, hours say they're open till 9pm. The whole store was closed. So done with this place.

The worst CVS I've ever been to - literally 75% of the time I go there they are closed during what should be normal business hours. All the lights are on as though nothing's changed, but the doors don't open - no sign on the door or any indication that all the employees have seemingly decided to make their own hours.

If your hours change you should update website. Short staff or not my son is not able to get his medicine because it wasn't ready last night and when I come this morning your sign says yal don't even open till 10!!!!! I have to get to work and now have to explain YAL HOURS WERE NOT UPDATED. I could of had his medicine sent to another place. I been patient with this location for over a year and now when it affects my child it's not okay. Evil system

Set up an appointment for a covid-19 test as my job needed one before I could start working. Earliest I could get one scheduled here was 3 days in advance. My appointment was at 3:10pm and as I’m just about to pull in I get a call from them saying my test has been canceled and I have to reschedule online. If they had to cancel for a legit reason, no problem, but maybe inform me earlier then 2 minutes before my appointment!

I love the place. Admittedly the cashiers not usually behind the counter but to be fair they don't get a lot of business so she doesn't stay back there, she goes and does other things. I've never had a bad experience there. People are very polite.

I was picking up prescriptions for an elderly person and after sitting in line for 20 minutes while 2 cars ahead of me are doing self Covid 19 tests, they then tell me the prescriptions are not ready. Then why did they call and say it was ready? This is the 2nd time it happened and it will be my last time. I will never use their drive thru and I will never have my personal prescriptions filled there. This CVS should not be performing Covid tests thru the driver thru because it is not designed for that process. The people getting tested have to hang half way out of their car window just to put their test in the box on the wall. My suggestion to everyone is to find another CVS for your medicine.

Pharmacy rarely has my medications ready EVEN THOUGH I CALL TO CHECK IF THEY ARE READY THE NIGHT BEFORE I TRY TO PICKUP AND THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM TELLS ME THEY ARE READY!!!! My son and husband both have seizure medications they MUST take daily and this place will not refill until about 2 days before you are out of meds. We have a snowstorm coming and may not be able to get back out to get the meds. So today, my day will revolve around going back and forth to this store to get these medications. I was told to come back in 2 hours. Extremely inconvenient. If I could go elsewhere I would but am trapped by insurance company. This has happened to me a few times now and we’ve been using this pharmacy for less than 4 months. I do not recommend this pharmacy.

No one never answer the phone. I called while I'm in line. Phone just kept ringing while the employees are behind the counter doing nothing. Hope someone reads this and explain to them why they do this situation all the time. If I could give them negative Stars they will get a minus five.

Horrible....I have 2 insurances and I'm not suppose to pay for my prescriptions and they always wanted to charge me 60 for them when my insurances pay everything, today I called to the automatic system to let them know I was on my way 20 mins later the person in the drive thru told me go around and get in line again because I need couple mins like that I can do the car behind yours....🤨 I'm thinking in switch farmacies again

I recently switched from cvs to rite aid, however after dealing with pharmacist Dan and pharmacist Sherrod, I will be switching back to rite aid. For anyone else there is an amazing rite aid pharmacy 2 blocks away. The staff when you go In there is amazing and the pharmacy actually puts their customers first.

This is the closest pharmacy to me and I always have a bad experience. The window says they should be open but they are not, I always have a problem with getting my meds, I have automatic refill yet when I go to pick them up they say they need authorization even though I get a message saying they are ready for pick up, and when I need to call the pharmacy I can never get through this is so stressful

This place is disgusting and doesn’t deserve to still be open! A lady went inside to get her prescription and she had to wait a hour! She was told to get out by the EMPLOYEES because she didn’t want to wait that long. I hope this place no longer stays open because customers don’t deserve to treated like that!

ok so this cvs for some reason can not seem to get medications right. my sister is on medications for being diabetic.... we have no car at the moment, so to pick up meds, is a good walk. you go to the cvs on richland, and trust that they have done their job correctly..... decide to check the bag as you walk out of the store and behold.... MISSING MEDS. so you have to turn around to correct the problem, thank God for not walking home b4 doing so. why is there so much incompetence when it comes to getting your meds filled at this cvs in York pa? they are not the only cvs with issues, but seems to be the worse, besides it being always filthy and smelling badly.... some women in the pharmacy dressing in over sized dragging pants and white lab jackets..... sorry but the jacket doesn't make you look professional, it takes a slew of things to help point in the professional direction clean your store for one and get your med orders done correctly. not all the pharmacy staff are off, but the one or two that are just make your entire crew look awful and disgusting. you need to clean up your act.

Horrible pharmacy says they are filling my sons medicines to wait 20 mins then come back the next day to tell me they still are filling them or are out of stock. At least they could do is tell me if they have it or not from the start!! Not wait two full days!
