If I could give more than 5 stars I would! In 2019, I purchased flooring for my whole house and got a great deal!! I love it. FF to current situation…remodeling our kitchen with new base cabinets and slightly new configuration. This exposes some floor space that needs to be covered. We don’t have any pieces left, and now that flooring is discontinued (of course it is!😣) We took a piece from under our stove to our York, PA store, in hopes of the unlikely possibility that we could find a match to color width and thickness. Enter Mark, Donna and Christian!! Long story longer, we found something that would work!! But not in stock at the store. Donna found ONE carton reportedly at the Harrisburg store just 32 miles away. It was going to be expensive to purchase a whole carton when we only needed 5-6 lengths, but we needed it, so she called Harrisburg to see if it was still actually in their inventory, but she wasn’t hopeful. Well, Mike (Harrisburg store) FOUND THE NEEDLE IN THE HAYSTACK!! But wait! It gets better!! He said it was an open carton and only had pieces, but if I wanted it, they’d GIVE it to me! So off I went and 45 minutes had the “partial” carton in my car and on its way to my kitchen floor! It seemed really heavy when I took it into the house and when I opened the open end, I found a FULL carton with MAYBE on length taken out.Everyone went to great “lengths” to get me what we needed! (Now if they could only do the install for free! 😂😉) Kudos to some super hero team players who went way out of their way to get us what we needed! Thank you Mark, Donna, Christian and Mike!! 💃🏼

We had a vinyl floor installed in our kitchen two years ago. The crew did an excellent job and we have been very happy with it.We recently took the very old carpet out of our dining room and hoped to keep the wood floors underneath, but they were horrible. We decided that we wanted to put the same vinyl floor in there that we have in our kitchen. Luckily, Carpet and Tile Mart still had our floor in stock.Randy and his crew did an absolutely tremendous job installing the floor! The pattern had to be lined up with the pattern in the kitchen floor, which didn’t seem like it was an easy task. Randy worked, and worked with the floor to get it lined up perfectly! They all did a wonderful job! We are so very pleased with our floor!Thank you so much to everyone at Carpet Mart! Great crew there all around!

The reviews of this place is 4.9 out of 5, so, my wife and I decided to come visit this store to see if the reviews are correct. The reason for our stop here is to purchase carpeting for my brother-in-law who is a disabled Army veteran on disability needing his home flooring re-done, a little makeover. The customer service was great, the service rep was truly knowledgeable of their assigned roles which made our experience that much more easier and convenient. The store itself was quite large, clean, and customer friendly. I highly recommend this store to others, you will definitely get great service here.

Our carpet is beautiful. It is a basket weave plaid with a repeat pattern which is perfectly matched. Our salesman Mark was very knowledgeable, attentive and very accomadating. Because of Mark's help our experience was smooth and painless. I would recommend York Carpet Mart and Mark.

Great people, Products, Prices, and Service!After shopping the Lowes and Home Depot with no luck we looked elsewhere for our Carpet, Tile, and Flooring Remodel project and found Carpet and Tile Mart in York PA. we picked them for starters based on their stellar Google Reviews. When spending a large amount of money it is a little scary to pick a company from all of the many floor companies. Our experience was Great from start to finish! Christian and Shane in sales helped us make a no-pressure informed buying decision with a great low price and a huge selection of on-site flooring. Our installation was complete within a week of our order and the install crew headed by Angle went pretty near perfect as they showed up on time and proceeded with the installation in a very timely and professional manner. They took their time and did a perfect install. So, I foster dogs.... homeless ones with all sorts of special needs. I needed flooring that was going to be durable, attractive and water resistant.... and affordable because as a homeowner who is single, fix it up projects are expensive!! The sales guy wasn't as knowledgeable as he could have been but he was SUPER nice and helpful. We put the floor in ourselves, it took a day. The dogs are very happy! Thank you!!

Went in looking for carpet and padding. Jonathan and Leeya were extremely helpful. Great prices and selection. Having it installed soon and will update. They can also (for extra fee) do subfloor, install (free if carpet is over a certain price), old carpet or flooring removal, etc. Scheduled for in-house measuring next day. I recommend them at this point for your needs. Will update once installed, subfloor done.

Bottom line: Outstanding professionalism and customer service. I ordered ~600 sq.ft. of a pre-finished hardwood floor. Long story short the tag on the sample board didn’t match the sample so when I opened the boards at my house they weren’t not what we picked out. We were disappointed and thought for sure we would not make our scheduled install date. When I called Shane to let him know of the error, he immediately went into problem solving mode (giving me complete confidence he was handling it) and within 15 minutes he had it solved. Said he was going to take a company truck to get the correct boards from the warehouse and come get the wrong boards from my house so not to cause me any wasted trips or time. No business is perfect, but how do they respond when a mistake has been made? Do they own it or make excuses? Carpet Mart owned it, fixed the problem and we were back on track in less than an hour. Can’t thank them enough for being so responsive and keeping us on schedule. Thank you Shane and Carpet Mart - consummate professionals. I’ll never go anywhere else for flooring. I also got tile, carpet and LVT from them without any hiccups and love all of it. Thanks again y’all.

Ordered cash and carry on 8/6/21 from Aaron B- was told 3 days- then they found defects and had to order from another store to get the second piece done- a week later - was told both were ready- got there and only 1 was done and was told second needed bound. Took the one home- was not square and measured off by 4”! Dan- the manager- told us he would get the second one down personally- 2 weeks later it’s still not done. Called today and it cannot be located to let me know if it’s done or not. So we have 1 piece which is crooked and the one bound edge is awful- and still waiting for them to find the second piece. Would love to share pictures of what we were sent with the 1st one- ready to roll it up and take it back for a full refund! Terrible customer service and not square sloppy bound product was send out of the store! Do NOT shop with this company! Update: after posting this I was told it was ready- went to p/u today - they opened it up- binding was much better and more square- BUT it was 11’x22’ and it was to be 12’x20- we were fully refunded. We will shop elsewhere- Dan the manager was kind and didn’t give us a hard time about the refund.

The installation crew did a great job. Hats off to them. Barry Hengst was very nice and thorough. Only issue I had is the Initial quote for the job was well lower to the actual cost due to us not waiting until the estimator actually measured the job. I will do that in the future before signing up for the job. I would use Barry and Carpet Mart in the future

I have had a wonderful experience at Carpet & Tile Mart. I wanted to purchase carpet runners and Rob was very helpful with no pressure. When he wasn't there, Shane helped me order the 5x7 matching carpet at a great price. The lady who coordinates between installers and customers was super friendly and helpful. They helped make every decision easy, treated me with respect while still being helpful and educational to someone who didn't know much about flooring, and then followed up with very fast measurements and quotes. The salesman I worked with, Mark, was eager to help and didn't try to needlessly upsell or BS me into something outside my price range; he helped me find what I was looking for and got me a fair price.
