I stop here at least once a week. Between the consignment shelf in the back, the great prices, and friendly staff it's always worth a trip. I put a gun on consignment recently and they advised me to list it even higher than I was thinking because they knew their clientele and market. It sold within two weeks and took care of everything. Great shop and knowledgeable staff.

Went there to get my RMR taking off and new battery put in (screws needed heated and separated from plate) while they were extremely busy. Instead of making me come all the way back they fixed it up and told me no charge. Amazing staff and selection. Ended up buying some self defense ammo.. would 100% come back

New to the area and after purchasing one gun here I decided to return for a second.Me: I'm looking for a shotgun, pump action with the safety uptop.Big guy: What's it for?Me: Home defense. I'm looking for something for my wife. She's not too into shooting, but it'll be in the house in the event it's needed.Big guy: "can I give you some advice??"Me: sure"You wouldn't buy dancing shoes for your wife if she didn't want dancing lessons would you??Me: ..well once it's purchased, it's already in the house.-Big guy: Can I give you some advice??....sure"You should bring her in and have her test what she likes holding"Me: she is NOT into shooting. My plan is to bring it home and say you have a no return policy and we're stuck with it. I'll deal with the repercussions. I want a shotgun because there is no mistaking that noise and it 100% puts the fear of God into people without needing to aim.Big guy: Can I give you some advice....."For home defense you want an AR-15. Pretend I'm an intruder (points gun fingers at me) Go ahead and make your shotgun noise"At this point I'm just astounded instead of assisting me he would rather criticize my choice.Me: Ok sir, I am sure you get people in here that need or seek advice, and an AR-15 is your personal perference for home defense. I know what I'm looking for. I'm retired Army, Ranger Battalion, ran with Special Forces, sniper, been there and got t-shirts. I just want a shotgun. I'm not going to teach my wife to grab one of my M4s, ensure she's familiar with EOtech, AND make sure she grabs hearing protection before she starts shooting up the place.-Big guy loses his mind and wants to show me his PP is bigger than mine: "WELL I WAS LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR 30 YEARS AND AN EMT! M4 IS THE weapon of choice for home defense!! Let me ask you something SIR!? Have you been deployed?!"Me: what?!Big guy: "Did you wear hearing protection in combat?!"I wanted to lose my mind, instead, they lost my business.

Stopped in today because I was in the area. Decent looking building.. selection was nice.. but the guys at the sales counter put it all together.. really nice conversation. Attentive. Even with the phone ringing.. I had a really nice interaction with the sales staff.. they explained their used gun consignment process. I ended up buying a revolver and a pump 22 rifle. Ill be back again!

I do all my transfers here. Their prices are solid and the employees are always good for conversation and information. Pretty knowledgeable and capable staff. Much better experience than you would get at a big box store like bass pro. Would say the retail space is on the smaller side though. They keep a good stock of the popular conceal carry pistols and hunting rifles/shotguns and some ar/ar parts but if you’re looking for a particular gun you probably will have to order it. Ammo selection is also not huge they have the common calibers but stock usually doesn’t last long. Better than the past few years though

Bought a used Draco NAK9 from carbon and steel (fire arms operates beautifully and was surprisingly clean and in really good shape) I got a sling and was at the range when the read sling bracket broke off, I brought it back in to get looked at and they fixed it for free! Definitely recommend!

First impression was great. Was greeted immediately when I walked in. I had a few questions on consignment products along with archery questions. And they were both answered without me thinking I was bothering them. I really like the place and will be my new favorite gun store. Pictures to come soon.

I only recently started coming back here after the change in ownership and could not be happier with the place. The owner and the staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable people. They have a solid selection of guns and the ammo stock is picking up. The store dog is the absolute sweetest. I'm happy to support a local business and will continue to look here first before ordering online. Prices range from low to middle of the road, definitely nothing overpriced here. Also, as a young person I'm happy to say the older staff are not rude or dismissive as they are in MANY other stores like this. Please stop in and check them out, we don't have enough local shops like this anymore!

These guys are real, honest and quite knowledgeable of the product they sell. Craig has treated me very well in the transactions I have had there. Dallas is quite helpful with the archery items, actually he just ordered me a new PSE, which they are the only dealer locally that carries them. Thumbs up to the whole crew there.

This is definitely the best gun shop around my area. Great selection, great prices and most of all great guys working there. Really couldn't ask for a nicer group of people to help with your firearm needs. They also give the most fair prices on trades out of the shops iv ever been at. Fantastic firearm and repair shop ! Fishing equipment too.New and used firearms, optics, fishing, permits etc. You also may use their consignment shop to sell your stuff.Everyone in this shop can advise and suggest what may be best for you.Four- five guys are always there :-). It’s nice, you kinda get to know them.I think there may be one other time I’ve given my thoughts about a ‘place’ when I’ve had so many positive things to say.Simply great place.I’m not getting a discount or anything for this !! :-(. Lol. I should though…lol

Handguns are in extraordinarily high demand these days, and yet Carbon and Steel had exactly what I was looking for and gave me a great deal on it! They didn’t jack up the price even though they certainly could have. Craig took the time to show me the tricks to taking it down and the lubrication points. Dallas was helpful and friendly with the paperwork and transaction. C&S certainly earned my repeat business. They earned my highest recommendation.

Message about reloading powder, told to call when they are open (message was sent after hours, didn't expect a reply until they were open anyways). Called to ask about reloading powder when they were open and informed that "I have too many customers in front of me how about you just stop in?". Well given the business hours that is hard to do. If I knew you had what I want I would have made the time. Instead I will find another local gun store to use. In today's business world most customers call or shop you online before going to the store. Not good business guys.
