Every time I have taken my pet here for his grooming bath/nail trimming appointment there has been some issue . Last time I brought him they barely trimmed his nails. This time they have his information in wrong under the wrong phone number and several other issues that they seem to be confused about do not recommend taking your pet to this one and also their products are extremely over priced.

The young lady that acknowledged me first, pick a similar Pretty Liter brand. Also recommended a gravy/ broth for my cat! Used her device to help find other stores. Found the Tidy Cat Alert $2 cheaper online from Petco. KUDOS to the sales assistant!!!!!

I’m not someone to typically do this but I brought my dog in to be groomed today and they refused to see him as he’d taken 5mg of CBD (I have a 65 pound dog, that doesn’t effect him). I had already paid, they refused to refund me. The “director of grooming” yelled at me when I tried to explain he took it because he’s difficult with his nails and its vet suggested. I went right around the corner to PetSmart and they took great care of him.

Over the past year and a half I’ve been back in this area, I’ve been able to purchase SuperWorms a total of two times at this location. They are NEVER in stock. How do you have exotic reptiles BUT NO FOOD TO FEED THEM? I mean, do you sell out the same day you get the stock delivered? Does that not send a message to higher management to ORDER MORE? Ridiculous I truly don’t know why I keep checking this store. Try “World Wide Aquarium and Pets” in the city if you’re having issues with this petco like me.

Outstanding service, with a friendly and super helpful team. After hearing the benefits of grooming and maintenance for Mr Chow a 4 year old Chow Chow and new addition to the family, I immediately made an appointment. It was definitely worth it and Mr Chow was over the moon with the results. Amanda is a true artist.

Not only will I never shop at Petco again but I will also let my friends and family know to also avoid going here for their pet’s needs.I became a new member there recently and had back to back horrible experiences. I always thought Petco was a little more pricey but have a good variety of products which make it worth the purchase and commute. However, it is never worth it when the customer service is poor, the policies are not clear/outlandish and just overall don’t seem to care if you continue to shop with them or not. Another huge problem I saw was how unknowledgeable the staff was on basic products. I did not catch any names as I didn’t have a good experience with anybody there at any of my visits. It’s sad. It’s a nice area with overall polite people but from the minute you walk in the vibe is off, the store seems under staffed and nobody seems to care whether you are there or not. Not sure if this is just an Ardmore-store issue but as a new customer, I should have been treated especially better. The first couple experiences are the ones that influence customers the most.I won’t be returning back to Petco.

It has a lot of specialty foods for dogs and cats. But wasn't approached or asked if I needed help, which I did. Had to carry 38lbs of cat litter to my car, with a cane. Otherwise store wS clean and stocked

Took my golden for a grooming today scheduled at 12pm with Caroline. She said it would take 2 hours. I watched her immediately put her in the back in a kennel. I shook it off and went next door to wait at Panera where I saw Caroline there eating. She was there for an hour and did not go back into Petco until 1 pm. 1 hour lunch break overlapping you having appointments scheduled? My dog was locked up in a kennel for an hour before she even got a bath. Went to pick my dog up and found Caroline only gave her a bath, states my dog is “too anxious” and she should be “sedated” in the future. My dog gets groomed multiple times a year and has since she was a puppy - I have NEVER ever had an issue. My poor dog was locked up for an hour while Caroline wasn’t even at the store. Completely unacceptable let alone a huge liability. I will never go back.

So happy!My baby was so miserable and I’ve been trying to cut him myself lately since we had a terrible experience with a previous groomer. He had skin irritation from the clippers used by the previous groomer, that had to be treated and Petco helped me so much with that. Moving forward I scheduled his grooming appt and upon picking him up he looked beautiful, like a brand new puppy. He was so happy :) The price was reasonable and his skin was not irritated. I will most definitely stick with Petco from this point on. So patient and kind! The vet services are inexpensive as well and I plan to stick with them for those services as well. Thank you so much!

The staff are very rough with fish they are trying to catch for you. After trying to lecture me about a breed of fish they didn’t know anything about, I got home and realized they sold me the wrong kind of fish anyway. Not worth returning the fish to such deplorable handling, I’ll rehome them myself.

My dog (Penny) has anxiety about grooming and vet appointments. The grooming and dog training team at PetCo is exceptional. Penny was treated so well here. I cannot wait to take my dog back for another grooming appointment.

The store never seems to be stocked. Usually there are pallets waiting to be unloaded. Staff is real friendly. For sum reason I get no points no matter how much I spend. Some loyalty plan. If I call CS they will give me points. I have to call after every purchase. Petsmart it is
