Update: Our sideboard finally arrived! It’s an oiled walnut Founders credenza with a pair of jumbo sized doors. It’s perfect. We love it. Delivery was easy and we really couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Treat yourself and go say hello to George and Barbara at MidMod.What a great store run by such nice people. They have a love of furniture and helping their customers feel like they’re being heard and not just sold to. We brought our young kids and they were super accommodating. Kids had a blast playing and chatting with Barbara and we got a great sideboard for our dining room. Can’t wait to show it off. Highly recommend.

George and Barbara have such a phenomenal collection and curated space. The building and space itself is beautiful, I am so happy with the beautiful painting I purchased. Additionally George had a perfectly sized table that he refinished and oiled and loaded so swiftly in to my car. Excited to have this piece in my home for a long long time!

A lovely collection of furniture and decorative items displayed in an attractive way. The owners are very friendly and engaging.We bought several pieces of furniture and were very happy with both the prices and the quality of what we purchased. MidMod Decor is an awesome source for beautiful original and restored vintage furnishings! I found them through Instagram @midmoddecor and started to follow. George posts new finds mostly everyday and is so quick to respond to my questions. You can tell he loves what he does. Barbara in the shop is a delight and really knows her stuff! She helped me in purchasing four gorgeous dark teak chairs with original corded seats by Danish designer Niels Moller (1960's). My space is not ready to furnish yet, so she gladly agreed to store the chairs for me - free of charge - while I finish my renovations. I was also looking for a specific size dining table, which she said she would keep an eye out for. Since then, I recently bought a 1960's enamel and brass floor lamp through messaging with George on Instagram and with GooglePay. Couldn't have been easier.What this mother/son duo have going on is really special, and is 100% worth checking out for yourself! The best part, their prices are more than fair, and I've found to be lower than their online competitors!

I recently purchased a vintage teak sideboard and can't recommend MidMod Decor highly enough!First, Barbara and George are so friendly, communicative and informative. I purchased the piece remotely, and they provided me with all the photos and videos I needed to feel confident about purchasing this sight unseen.Second, their team did an excellent job refinishing the piece; there was some discoloration that was totally resolved with the refinishing.Lastly, George personally delivered the piece to my apartment, taking great care not only in delivering it to my unit but also being neat and tidy while unwrapping it and installing it in the space. They were also able to deliver the piece a couple weeks early, so that we could have it before entertaining some guests!Overall an enjoyable experience and a beautiful piece that really completes our home. I look forward to keeping tabs on their inventory!

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I had with George at MidModDecor when I purchased this desk as a Christmas gift for my husband. The purchase was conducted entirely online/over the phone, and George and his mom were quick to respond to my questions and calls-- they even sent detailed pictures of the finish, which was excellent! The whole purchase was easy, accurate, professional, and secure; the measurements were accurate, the invoice was promptly and securely sent via email, and delivery was right on time, with lots of communication en route regarding arrival time (which was important as I was trying to maintain the element surprise). Although my husband hasn't accessorized it yet, he absolutely loves the desk, as do I! I look forward to purchasing again from MidMod; I highly recommend!!

I was overjoyed with the refinishing of my credenza! It was in fairly good shape but I wanted it stripped and the woods grain raised with a light protective finish. Not a high gloss finish. They did this and fixed a few things I wasn't aware of. The pricing was right ! Barbara and her crew delivered!! Couldn't be happier! Thx

I just moved into my house and need to furnish the entire thing. I went out on Friday with a couch in mind. MidMod did not have any at the time, but had everything I didn't know I needed! I came back the next day after having FOMO about leaving there empty handed and welcomed home this adorable orange footstool, globe light and pendant light fixture. Barb and George really know how to welcome you into their shop. We got a full tour and they were both very knowledgeable about all of the pieces that caught our eye. They were also very quick at responding to our initial inquiries and each email thereon. I already can't wait to get back there! MidMod will forever be my first stop when looking for mid-century pieces.

I had an incredible experience with MidMod Decor recently. They had posted a desk that was exactly what I was looking for. When I inquired about it they responded quickly with all of the details and cost. They even had an extremely reasonable refinishing and delivery cost. I was also able to customize the refinishing of the desk. They communicated regularly through the refinishing process and delivered the desk ahead of schedule. I am 100% pleased with the whole process and am already looking into the next piece I can purchase. Such a great family business.

I initially got in touch with these guys through a Facebook Marketplace listing. I was on vacation at the time, but these chairs were amazing and I didn’t want to miss out. Once we settled on a price, they had no trouble holding them for me for almost an entire week. I picked up the chairs from their warehouse, which is full of mid century gems. The family will happily tell you the history of certain pieces and take you on a tour of their warehouse without being even remotely pushy about buying additional items. The purchase and pick up process was one of the easiest retail experiences I’ve had. Most importantly, the chairs that I purchased are absolutely gorgeous and are in fantastic condition. I cannot wait for the opportunity to pick up another piece from this family. They are wonderful to do business with and could not be more friendly.

Had a fantastic experience when visiting MidMod. George and Barbara accommodated a last minute visit, that turned into us finding a perfect pair of Danish teak barstools.What I love about MidMod is that Barbara clearly has an eye for design, which allows her to select excellent pieces to start with, and then manages to elevate the design through her refinishing process vs detracting from the design.They also knew we were looking for a bar when we left, and George followed up the same day about a bar that they were receiving the next morning! George promptly sent detailed photos and videos of the piece, but was still very understanding when we explained that we had already changed our mind about our vision for the space :)Thanks again to both of you!
