I love HAIRTOWN. This is like the mall of beauty supplies. I travel into town just to get to this store. All the workers are helpful, and you never feel intimidated while shopping with the owners or workers stalking you, thinking you are trying to steal. They allow their surveillance to do the work. The wig section always has good sales and very GOOD VARIETY!! HARD TO find a great selection as this most times! And the females in this section are always KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL!!! NOT RUDE!

Hairtown in Cheltenham Square is trash! Horrible service and no flexibility. I left the store without making the purchase I said I was going to make because of the owner's bad attitude.The store in Cedarbrook Mall is awesome! Tee in the wig department is the best. She has excellent customer service skills and an eye for what looks good. The energy is completely different and more inviting. Even when checking out, the owner smiled, thanked me for shopping there, and told me to have a wonderful day.Cedarbrook needs to tell their cousins down the street how to service and do it with a smile.

When the “Super” Hair Town opened up, I would low key get anxiety when shopping there. It’s soo big and has a lot of aisles and items. (I had gotten used to the smaller one in Cedarbrook.) However, since I moved closer to the Cheltenham location, I find myself in here more bc it’s more convenient. My main qualm with this place is lack of friendly people. Some of the workers don’t speak good English, and when you ask them anything they just shrug or say “I don’t know” - and then you have to go find someone who speaks English to help you. I’m getting more used to this location, but they really are all about the money, and don’t really care about being courteous or attentive to their customers. But they usually have what I need, so I keep coming.

I don't think they deserve any stars cause they are not honest but I had to put one star to leave a reviewBe careful when buying from these people I had purchased 2 packs of hair from these people and only used one pack I returned the unopened pack and they would not give me my money back they said you only can get store credit but it clearly states on the recipe that if you return it with in 7 days of purchase date which I did you can get a refund they lied so be careful with buying here.

Really nice overall. The employees are young and old so you can connect to whom ever and the people who help with the wigtown in the back to the right are also helpful and nice. It's not just nice with the people but its clean and open spaced. So many products and items for cheap which I was loving. Below are some items I bought and I highly recommend getting the lipstick.

I visited Hair Town Super Center off Cheltenham on Saturday 8/19/23 for the first time since relocation and it is huge. They did a great job with the space. However, totally confused where to find items. Workers are always helpful in navigation. Beautiful store and May God continue to bless your establishment. They have clothes, hats, makeup, etc. Not just a hair store.

PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS else where. EVERYONE who works there has major attitudes. Please Note* They actually close down 30 min before closing time. So they close at 7:30 pm vs 8:00pm. I got there at 7:35pm and the security guard stood in front the door and informed me they were shutting down the registers. I have spent hundreds of dollars there and get not one "Thank you."! PLEASE order offline. Better deals and customer appreciation.

I went into this store for supplies I needed and they have to be the most rude people I have ever seen. When i checked out, i saw they had free samples. A guy was in line ahead of me. He purchased a hair brush and he was OFFERED FREE SAMPLES and was given a handful. When it was my turn to check out, I wasn't offered not one free sample. Keep in mind that I made a very substantial purchase.

I bought a lip gloss and put it on in store. As soon as it touched my lips I noticed the lip gloss smelled bad. I immediately went back to the cashier and told her. The she said they were new and just came in. I think they were old and have been there for a while. I asked for a refund and they refused. It’s the principle of the matter. They sold me a rancid product and refuse to do an exchange. I’m tired of giving them money. I will not be going back.

Lots of selection. Lots of BLACK OWNED companiesto choose from. Shampoos, condtioners, leave in conditioners, deep conditioners, aisles of gels, head wraps, braiding hair, wigs, combs, detanglers, nail polish, natural oils, masks, needles, hook and latches, sandals, clothes, handbags, head dryers, and Sooooo much more. Be prepared to either be awed or overwhelmed.

There are two one near LA fitness and near ShopRite. I found what I needed in the second one so many varies of colors and different styles of hair. Everything you need for your hair. I don't live in that area but its worth the drive..

I absolutely love this store. I drive 1 hour to shop here.From shampoo and other hair products, buy 1 get 1 free.10+ shelves of wigs.Lots and lots to choose from!I just wish they would put ribbons or a big sign up showing where the checkout line starts!

Extremely poor professionalism. If you are a shopper, you will be eyed down the entire time. Very uncomfortable going to certain aisles with my basket because they are literally right behind me wherever I go. The workers (particularly the ones of asian descent) are overly rude. Will not be coming here again.

The customer service was very good. I needed help finding flip flops and the one of the store attendants walked me to the aisle to find some. She didn't just point to the aisle.! Loved that. She was very friendly too. Most of the attendants are always friendly.👍. I need help in that store most times because it is so big! The items are neatly organized. I love that too. I will be returning.

This is a superstore with any hair related item n products for all nationalities. They have a great section of Blk hair care products, wigs, hair extensions all very reasonably priced. I come from NJ and it’s a hour ride to get all my hair care needs. Good location with eating places , Walmart, and another shopping center close by.
