I recently spent one night at this campground with my RV. Upon arrival I was greeted immediately, very friendly and helpful. The RV site was good size and level. No issues on the hookups. The location was good, far enough from traffic but not too far from any main roads. The grounds looked nice; unfortunately, I was not able to explore much because I had bad weather.

Easy access off the highway. The campground was very well loved and cared for. When you pull in you get a sense of family. Many people were there enjoying holiday time with their families. The smell of hotdogs and hamburgers and campfires were all around. They had lots of walking trails and a pond. Multiple pavilions and playgrounds. We only stayed for 1 day but it definitely ranked as a place we would stop again and was a refreshing change from the parking lot style campgrounds you typically find near the highways.

We stayed on a Monday night in late August as we were passing through. There were very few campers here, as school had already started. This is an older campground, but everything is very clean. The grounds are well kept. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The laundry room is very nice, with everything you could need. There is a small game room with a pool table. There is a beautiful area with a pond for fishing and a playground. There are two dog parks, which are large, with places to sit. The owner escorts you to your site, and helps to make sure your rig is level. There are only 4 TV channels with antenna. The WIFI is solid. This is a great place to stay for a night or two as you are passing through. We would stay here again!

I normally do not write very many reviews but my experience that I had here at the campgrounds made me want to take the time to write one for them. I had a 6 month deployment for work in Woodland, Pa and I found ahead of time the closest campground to where I was going to work(literally 5 mins to work from camp). I called and spoke with Lisa and I reserved a spot for my trailer. Long drive from Louisiana, but made it there and the campgrounds was very beautiful. I met Lisa and her husband Mike who owns the campgrounds and I was there from May to the end of Oct. My stay there was awesome, a home away from home and I enjoyed being there in my new camper. Lisa and Mike was so nice to me the whole time I was there and they allowed me to get my mail and packages for my work which was an added bonus since the nearest UPS store was 30 mins away and is expensive to receive mail there. Mike even recommended a local that does repairs and winterization to campers which helped out when I had an issue and when I needed to winterize my camper. I really had a great time there and if I ever go back for phase 2 of the project I will definitely go back to their campground. Thank you Lisa and Mike for making my time there Great. Hope to see you guys again.

Our family met at Woodland Campground for the Labor Day weekend. 6 adults and three kids under 6. We had an AMAZING time. Mike and Lisa are fantastic hosts and put on several events for the kids during the weekend including bird feeder making, bingo, and ice cream socials! We had a blast and are already checking dates to go back. You will not find a more convenient location and wonderful hosts! Thank you Mike and Lisa for helping us make great memories!

Great place to stay for a week or more. Mike and Lisa are awesome, super friendly and very helpful! The campground was clean and quiet. Very easy to get to from route 80. I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area again.Safety: Very safe.

This was a wonderful quiet campground to stop at for the night, the owners take obvious care and pride in their grounds. They have a spot with communal toys, games and whatnot for the families and kids to entertain themselves as well as a pond with catch and release and small boats to paddle around.I am a bathhouse critic, and they pass the clean bathhouse test. I didn’t have mold or someone else’s hair in my stall.

Woodland Campground was quiet, beautiful, well spaced out, extremely clean, and provided all necessary supplies. They had a great place to do laundry and wash dishes. Owners Mike and Lisa were friendly. Playground equipment was solid. It was our favorite campground on our recent camping trip and we will definitely be staying there again. Highly recommended!

Very nice camp ground to stay while visiting the Pennsylvania Wilds area. Hosts are friendly and helpfull. Well maintained sites, long level pull thrus with good cell and wifi. The Dented Keg has excellent food. Don't miss the Elk County Visitors Center!

Awesome campground. Nice level gravel sites , some shaded some full sun. Owners are super nice , will take you to your site and help you get settled into your spot. It is a quiet campground with a large walk around wooded trail through the woods down to a creek very pretty walk. Catch and release pond , playground, pet run and planned activities. We came down from Upstate NY and campground was very easy to find , good road signage. We reserved site 32 a premium pull through spot which hands down in our opinion a fantastic site that is spacious with a very nice view of the woods. We would camp here again.

Just wrapped our holiday weekend at Woodland Campground and it was a blast! Great environment for the family and plenty to do there. For a busy holiday weekend, the campground was quiet and very relaxing. Mike and Lisa run a great campground and are extremely helpful and accommodating. The campground has easy access off of I-80, which was great being that we were pulling a large trailer. If I could give a higher rating, I would. I encourage anyone in the area of Woodland Campground, or just passing through, to check this place out. We look forward to our next visit!!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Woodland Campground! We stayed at site 49, tucked away; landscaping was beautiful and gave us some seclusion. Mike and Lisa are so very kind and accommodating; Mike helped my husband ensure our TT was backed in carefully into the site and Lisa is very responsive and prompt to our requests. Our family enjoyed quiet hours especially since we have two children and this rule is enforced! The grounds are very well maintained and clean; dog park is well kept. We will certainly be back! Thank you Mike and Lisa for a peaceful & enjoyable weekend with our family!

It's a amazing place with 2 cabins, RV and tent sites. Love the owners! It was the a nice location and not a long drive to see elk!Walkability: They have a pond on the property you can fish at!

We stayed at Woodland Campground for 6 nights, and it was a wonderful experience! The owners were helpful from reservations to departure. We drive a 42-ft Class A, towing a car on a tow-dolly, and we had no problem getting in and getting out. There are walking paths through the woods as well as a beautiful pond for fishing. It's rustic yet has everything you would need. We will be back!

I'm currently on my second road trip across the country and can say I've stayed at quite a few places. With that being said this is one of the best places I've stayed at. Although there are some downsides to every campground, I'm going to give these guys five stars just based on the grounds and how quiet the place is. The lake and hiking trails around the property are beautiful. It really made for an nice evening to unwind and get the dogs out for walks. I'll stay again if I'm ever back through the area.

I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. This was a great find! Easy access, clean and quiet. The owners are super nice! They have propane and are reasonably priced. There is a large kids play area near a pond. We had a great experience here!

What a nice place Woodland Campground is. From the time we pulled my wife and I loved it.The camp ground is very clean and kept up. The owners are very nice and are willing to help you in any way.Mike who is Sharon's husband directed us to our spot, check to make sure we were level. Then we needed a propane tank filled and he took it and was right back with it.Can't say enough about this place.

October 16, 2021. Clean facilities, very nice people working and staying there. When I arrived temporarily without treats for my unruly, large, barking puppy a neighbor camper stepped in to the rescue with lots of treats. Thank you Sue! I wish I could have enjoyed the amenities. The place seemed just perfect in the most beautiful area of PA. Dog park areas were a Godsend! Wonderful campground.

We absolutely loved this campground especially our 3 Goldens in the large dog park. My Gracie couldn't make up her mind on what toy to play with next that was provided. There was ample space between coaches and we love the Buddy site concept as we travel with others. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
