Everything was very well kept and obviously cared for. Perfect place to stop and rest for a few hours between Richmond and Detroit. Room was basic and dated but I honestly love the old school charm. Most importantly though the room was CLEAN and the beds were perfectly comfortable. Honestly cannot complain for the price and will stop by againWhen passing through.

Just like all prior reviews, it's older but clean! Owner said during checking in "its not fancy, but it's clean". For someone who is pretty much in a different hotel every night my stay was great especially compared to other chain hotels. One of the few remaining non-franchise motels that made Breezewood famous. Stop here on your Retro Road Trip and get a feel for travel when it was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable, and came with the owner's personal attention. It's on the old road so there's no truck noise but with easy access to the turnpike and I-70/76. Park at your door. Pets OK... my cat asks me to stop here.

When my husband and I travel, we usually take our little dog with us. When we were told at another hotel that they do not accept dogs, I panicked. They referred us to this little motel. When my husband and I saw it, we immediately recalled the way our parents used to travel. They would stay at similar motels along Route 50 in the 1950s. When we walked into the office, the owner was extremely helpful. There was no hastle in getting a room for the night of July 11. The room was very clean. We were very thankful to have a place to stay that loves dogs as much as we do.

The place was exceptionally clean. I was actually a little leery, but the staff was amazing and even let me look at my room before purchasing. I had room 105 and loved it. Also I was a little nervous, being that I’m a single woman traveling alone, but it’s a very safe area and I can’t say how amazingly clean my room was. I have stayed at many places and paid 3x the amount for some really awful rooms. This place was completely opposite. It’s got an old 1960-1970s vibe, but without the yucky/worn feel. You can’t beat the price for this cool retro vibe stay. I’m a clean freak, and this place even passed my crazy standards. The bed was so cozy too. Two thumbs up, way up!!!

I wasn't expecting much, was just looking for a cheap place for one night. Ended up LOVING my stay here. It's a bit older but my room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was so friendly and kind. As others have said, it has a cool vintage feel. It doesn't seem like much but if you're stopping at this busy exit I highly recommend staying here over any of the more pricy chain hotels. They also don't charge extra for pets which I am so grateful for.

We were caught in a snowstorm and were able to grab the last room here. It was amazing! The owners were the nicest ever. We ended up having to leave very early into our stay, and they refunded us and were very very nice. Thank you guys so much for being so good

My girlfriend and I needed a place to stay after we were finished setting up a detour route for a bridge closure right down the street from this place. We chose it because of the great reviews we had read from previous customers and we couldn't have been happier we listened to them. The rooms aren't much, but they provide enough privacy, comfort, and, convenience for the price and compared to most hotels in this immediate area. We were so happy our room had a microwave and fridge. If you're looking for a decent place to stay with comfy beds, decent air, and clean everything, I think you should give this place a try. The owner and family are so nice and appreciative to have you staying with them, it makes you feel great to help out a family owned business that's stuck in a world of corporate commercialism.

We had a wedding in the Breezewood area so we looked for a motel close to the venue. We came across the Wiltshire Motel and booked our room. The manager (owner) was the nicest man I had ever met. He was friendly, professional, and courteous! His main concern was making sure his guests were pleased and comfortable! Like he told us..." Its not fancy..but its clean! And that it was...very clean! The beds were super comfy and we slept so soundly..it was great! And the price...well it was so amazing and affordable! We will definitely stay here again when in the Breezewood area! I would highly recommend this motel to anyone needing accommodations in this area!!

Very friendly staff, even at late hours. Owner is on site. Super easy check in/out. Very quiet. Awesome retro bathrooms that were perfectly clean and well maintained. Clean bedding and furnishings. Don’t let the somewhat outdated look turn you away. This place was great - would stay again.

This is one of the nicest older motels I have had the pleasure of staying.Over and above service and hospitality! The owner personally picked me up from the nearby truck stop while my truck was being repaired. The price was very reasonable and the room was clean and tidy. The motel came highly recommended by the TA Truck repair center. Best of all they are pet friendly! There are a number of seedier motels, but I highly recommend staying here as opposed to the others. The property is well maintained and the rooms are quaint and clean. The owner lives onsite and available round the clock if needed. He picked me up at 11:00 PM and was glad to accommodate me.

I had a great experience for the type of motel. It was economical. I parked my rig no problem. Walked to Mcdonalds. In room coffee and the place was clean. I gave it 5 stars because it was worth the price charged. Dont go here expecting a big chain hotel. They are small, but clean and quiet.

Very clean and affordable.The owners are the friendliest people you could hope to meet. A group of us were traveling and had car trouble, so we needed an affordable room for the night. The tow truck driver recommended the Wiltshire. The owner set us up in room 10. It was perfect, very large and clean. I would definitely stay there again😃

Stayed overnight with a friend after the campground I was camping at got flooded, the owner was extremely kind and understanding. We both got separate rooms, they are well kept and clean, air conditioning, modern flat-screen TVs and a small but welcoming bathroom. The price point is on the lower side of local places to stay, definitely recommended if you're on a budget!

I am a truck driver and my truck broke down. I had to spend 2 nights there. When I checked I in the owner said if I did not like the room he would move me to a different one. The room was fineVery clean and comfortable. A/c worked great as did the WiFi and satellite TV. When I checked out the owner gave me a ride to where my truck was. They go out of their way to satisfy you. The rates stay the same all weekThey do not raise the rates for the weekend. You are within walking distance of the restaurants. I highly recommend this place. If I have to stay in Breezewood again it will be there.

Even though this is a older hotel it is by far the cleanest! I can’t believe how clean it was .. The guy at the front desk was very nice ! The beds where comfortable & the shower was very hot ! The price was the best & it even has a flat screen refrigerator & microwave! Not to mention the cable & internet are by far the best ,compared to bigger hotels ...

My boyfriend and I travel to Breezewood to see friends at least twice a year or more and we would stay no where else but here. I love this place! The owners treat you like family! And the rooms are always Clean! Highly recommend the stay and the price!

When the owner gave me the key he said it isn’t fancy but it is clean. What he failed to tell me was how relaxed I would be sitting outside during a cool July evening watching fireflies while I called home. Neither did he tell me how good my back would feel the next morning after having slept on a nice mattress with clean sheets in a quiet room. He also didn’t tell me how much the vintage style and decorations of the room would cause me to reminisce about my childhood. If you’re looking for fancy, you’re probably in the wrong town. If you’re ok with vintage and clean, why not see if there’s any hidden value to be discovered?

My husband wanted to stay at holiday inn but they do not take dogs. This hotel had good reviews but it didn't seem like a good hotel But we could bring our dog and a few others were full. We MUST ADD AN EXCELLENT review for the cleanliness of this hotel. If you're needing a hotel while you wait out the hurricane, I highly recommend this hotel we are spoiled to higher star hotels and this one is just fine
