Spartan .. Just like the bar where everyone knows your name, this is it.Comfort in being know where important stuff for your health is being 'looked over' and not overlooked, ya know.Friendly, knowledgeable service. Up to date with covid service. I believe delivery service is available one day a week. Might be wrong, I'm only a guy ladies.All in all, a good neighborhood place that's worth the travel too for your meds.Check em out, fellow drug takers. They'll help you out.

I moved my pharmacy from Giant Eagle to Spartan It has been a nightmare My 2 scripts were called in Tuesday.That were not ready They charged me a $30 copayy that I have never paid before When I questioned this they said it was my plan They did not tell me they are standard and Giant Eagle is preferred They charge more as a result They never disclosed I would pay more They actually lied about it when I askedNow I'm stuck for 90 days til refill .I will never go back.

We keep getting reviews that we are charging high amounts for COVID tests. This is incorrect information. We don’t charge for COVID tests. We are a collection site for SDx labs…what people are most likely seeing is an EOB from your insurance and not a bill. Please consider this before posting negative reviews that hurt small businesses. If you have a question regarding a statement please call us first.

Switched my whole family over to this spartan pharmacy this year from Giant Eagle and I am beyond pleased. The best thing about this place is the service! Every time I am in, I am greeted right away by a kind smile and friendly, helpful attitude. The minimal to no wait time is a huge plus too! I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

My scripts are always ready when I get there. Everyone is so kind and friendly. They have delivery, too, which is great when you're sick. The lady who brought the scripts even had a dog biscuit for my pup. Just an honest & efficient place to do business.

Horrible service. Went in for Covid testing and both samples were reported as dropped on the floor and couldn't be tested. Then insurance was ignored and received $600 in biling for a free Covid test. This place is a scam, stay away.

I can save a few bucks on prescriptions if I go to Giant eagle or cvs but I still prefer Spartan. At the other pharmacies I've mentioned I have had to wait over 2 hours for one prescription. I've even had giant eagle tell me they couldn't fill my prescription till the next day because they were to busy. Spartan has never taken more than 15 minutes and sometimes I have 5 different prescriptions. I think it's important to support family owned businesses. They are always kind and friendly. They are well knowledge about the medications I take and answer any questions I may have.

I absolutely love this pharmacy when I moved out of the area I changed pharmacy an then ended up going back to them... I rather travel to them then deal with this other place.. I always get great customer service an never have any problems when it come to getting my scprits An if there is an issue they always handle it with my insurance an my doctor's rather calling me an telling me what the problem is an for me to call my insurance an doctor like the other place would do, knowing it would get taken care of faster if they would of called themselves.. So thank you to everyone at Spartans pharmacy for being one of the best pharmacy I have been to. An thank you all for always being do helpfully an always shoeing respect to your custmors...Love You guys!!

I can't say enough about the benefit of a neighborhood pharmacy when compared to the mass department store pharmacies that are constantly recruiting my business. When I get a new prescription at Spartan, I always know there's a well-informed pharmacist who has no complaint about taking time to explain things to me. I have never felt embarassed or too rushed to ask a question. And they seem very attentive to conflicts with my other prescriptions or dietary considerations, etc. They will call my doctor when necessary, and they work with my insurance to find the best generic option for my budget. I can't say enough about the confidence and comfort I have with Spartan. Time and time again. I am a middle aged male, who has shopped there consistently for about 5 years.

My family has used this pharmacy my entire life. They are extremely friendly and informative, and service is always quick when I go in. I have UPMC insurance and have only had a problem once ever getting my medicine and it had nothing to do with the pharmacy's end. Would absolutely reccomend to anyone

Only pharmacy in the area that can fill my rare prescription and I’m very thankful for them! But during my recent visit no one was wearing masks even when filling prescriptions. They are giving vaccinations which means they are around unvaccinated people and even if they are vaccinated they can still get and spread Covid. Anywhere that handles medicine for medically fragile people and who is also doing Covid vaccinations should require workers to wear masks. Please think about the people you care for, you might survive Covid but your patient might not. A lot of people also cannot get vaccinated due to medical reasons. They deserve to feel safe getting their medicine.

I got my first COVID-19 vaccine yesterday at the Spartan Pharmacy site in Brentwood and was amazed at how efficiently they moved people through the process. Obviously the event was very well planned.

The staff at Spartan Pharmacy we’re quite literally vacation savers nearly two weeks ago. My wife was diagnosed and prescribed meds for the flu at 7:30pm on Sunday night with a flight out of the country planned for 6 am the following morning. Not a single pharmacy in Pittsburgh that was open that we talked to had the med in stock except Spartan. Not only did they have it when I called at 7:52.... they stayed open for us about 30-40 minutes past their closing at 8 so we were able to get the med for my wife to begin taking before and throughout our vacation. Fortunately for us... having been on the med for about 24 hours my wife was able to truly enjoy our vacation! This place... is fantastic and I would drive 30-40 minutes out of the way during normal hours just to use this pharmacy.

Why didn't the pharmacy notify patrons of the pharmacy that they were giving covid shots? My husband has been getting his prescription there for years but we were never notified. You obviously have our phone number and email.
