I like this place. It can be on the expensive side. It's good just for browsing. The decor is always very nice and well thought out. Staff is very friendly and they seems to do a lot with and for the community. Each holiday feels very festive. And when it's not holiday time, it's just a nice place to visit

Esbenshade's will always put you in the Christmas spirit. They have a nice little selection of trees, real and fake prelit, ornaments and other seasonal items. Walking out to the real trees and section with all the poinsettias has that holiday aroma that smells so fresh and clean and I really don't find them too expensive either. Besides the holidays they also have alot for the other seasons as well but for us, around Christmas is always the best. Esbenshade's is definitely worth rating them 5 stars, but I can't forget the employees are all extremely nice, polite and helpful. These people truly enjoy their jobs and it shows how they interact with all customers.

I wasn't able to get to the sale however I must say that when I called, I spoke to the woman in customer service and she was fabulous and very helpful !! I only wish I had asked her name so she could get the "Props" I'm hoping to get there on Monday and maybe get to meet her. I wish more businesses had such kind & courteous Customer Service.

This place was amazing! I was able to find so many houseplants that were on my list to get. Their prices were so fair as well! Also, all their staff were really friendly!

Really a wonderful place to browse at plants and garden supplies. Friendly, knowledgeable staff will help you decide. Also it's a wonderful place for gift shopping whatever the occasion or season.UPDATE JULY 31, 2023: The garden center had the crushed stone to add to my pathway. The big box stores don't stock that particular item. I ended up buying 11 bags! Signed up for their rewards program when I purchased the stones.

My wife and I spent Christmas Eve finishing up on a few Christmas gifts. Our visit to Esbenshade's was very productive. We purchased live flowers, novelties for children, and even a few things for us. The employees were friendly, helpful and full of Christmas cheer! Nice! We have great success with seasonal flowers at Esbenshade's. Highly recommended! Ted H.

If you take gardening or plants seriously.. you seriously need to check this place out!! Super knowledgeable people. Price is up there. As they say .. gotta pay to play! They have everything from gardening soil to specialty formulated everything for whatever your trying to grow.. place get PACKED in the weekends. Great business with great service 💯

The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The gift shop is huge and full of wonderful garden accessories as well as seasonal decor for indoors and outdoors. Prices are average. You can get $5 off when you spend so much with the loyalty card.

Not happy with online service. Made an order of the cocoa mulch. Wanted to add to that order. They ended up cancelling my order and telling me to reorder. By the time I tried to reorder, they were sold out. Really? Nice.Okay. I have amended this review to 5 stars....yes, they made a mistake, but they went out of their way to correct it. Very happy with them holding me 6 bags and sending them out the day we spoke. 1 days later....6 bags of cocoa mulch! Thank you , Esbenshades!

I haven't been to this nursery yet. Just called. But my first impression was not a good one. I asked what I thought were simple questions. Whether they carried certain trees or had any recommendations for me given certain circumstances, delivery costs, whether they planted.The lady immediately told me the person I needed to speak with wasn't in until the following day, but she was able to answer some of my questions once she allowed me to ask them.I don't know. Maybe they were just busy. She seemed short and hurried. Even when I asked for directions, she was short with me, and I could tell she just wanted to get off the phone and not be bothered.I'm not sure if I'll chance an actual trip to this nursery to see if I get a better impression, but other area nurseries have never disappointed.

If your looking for flowers they have a nice selection. If your looking for a tree or shrubs prob not the first place to try. Fun selection of unique garden figures, statues, and decorative items. Always enjoy walking around looking at new items they get in regularly.

Not sure how is buying in-store. Buy stay away from them when buying online. no feedback, very very slow shipping process. They created the shipping with USPS, updated the order status but the item has not shipped yet (almost 3 days on that) the tracking info on USPS never changed, still showing USPS waiting on item. I wish i could do 0 Star.

Love this garden shop and nursery! Huge selection of plants, veggies and trees as well as all you're needed gardening supplies! Staff is knowledgeable and super friendly! I'll call it as I see it, it's the go to for berks county and beyond!

I shopped at the Fleetwood store today and was very impressed with JoAnn who helped me both on the phone as well at the cash register. She helped with finding the items that I needed and she was very knowledgeable when she answered my questions. She’s a keeper!
