Worse Dollar General in all of the “Johnstown / Somerset” area!!!! The store is dirty, never stocked, employees are not friendly, and you can never find them when you need to check out because they have to stock while customers are in the store.

Very disappointed with the Windber DG! Ever since they had their remodel they quit carrying so much stuff. And the aisles aren't any better without the stuff either. Especially the clothes and shoes section I always got my girls their summer outfits and sandles there

If I could give a zero I would, today experience is why I never shop at my locate dollar general. Whoever was working this morning yelled at me for him ringing up something that wasn't mine, like it was my fault !

Easy go to place . Now that they remodeled though I don't like how they don't have any counter space for the customers to put there stuff up! So you must hold it unless you have a shopping cart! So beware of that when you are buying if you only grab a basket.

Windber dollar general has friendly staff and very helpful. They need a major update! Their building is old! I feel bad for the staff they are either freezing to death or its really hot in there! It's not the staffs fault. They can only do so much with what they have and it's a really old building not like all the other places that have new ones!!!!

Worst Dollar General in the area. Items are just thrown on the shelves and the floor. Very disorganized and dirty looking. Often out of items. Come on management do better.

Dollar General stores are usually so packed that it makes it extremely difficult for any physically challenged customers to shop there! In my opinion, they should lose their handicap accessible labels on front of their stores!

I give it a star cause its very easy ti shop but its so hot n half of the time unless u have cash u arent getting nothing the whole place. Needs upgraded floors are falling apart but the worst of it is its a 90 degree stagement air

The windber DG is a small store, very messy and things aren't wear they should be. The problem isn't the staff it's the customers. They're the ones making the store a dirty mess. I have to shop there b/c I live in windber. But if I have a choice, I go to the store on Scalp Ave or the Dollar tree. AT LEAST everything in the Dollar tree is ONLY a $1!

They have most everything, would of gave them 5 stars but this spring late April early may at latest had no wading pools at all at any of their stores but then again nothing was normal starting this spring.

The place is cluttered with boxes in the aisles, unpacked and if the product that you want to purchase is there you can't get to it. Also it's dirty and you have a hard time maneuvering your cart down the aisles. Poor management!

I've lived near this store for years and I keep forgetting that it exists but they have a nice selection of items for every room in your house . I've been going there alot more recently and getting alot of things I need for cheap

This is the only local Dollar General in Windber, PA, but it's difficult to gain parking. Plus it is not fully handicap friendly! Extremely difficult to navigate with a wheelchair.

This Dollar General is EXTREMELY tight on space!! Not convenient for anyone using a walker, wheelchair, or power chair to shop with any ease!!

Small, kind of dirty. Parking is awful. Bad floor layout: you enter right where people check out so it makes for tiny space.
