Never call you back. Takes them at least 2 months or more to go over a snowblower. When they dropped it off they didn't even talk to my son and give him the bill. Even though they had to have heard the lawnmower running. Took 2 months to do a warranty problem for a leaf blower. Took 2 months to do a seasonal check up on a lawnmower that we had bought with them. When we bought the lawnmower online from them we had to call them. We didn't hear from them. They said they couldn't find our order!

Went to this location a few days ago in search of a breaker for my electrical panel box. A nice associate was helping me confirm I was purchasing the correct one. Another associate named Tony was listening to the conversation from another isle then proceeded to interject himself into the conversation. Tony was very degrading in his comments to me. I believe because I’m a woman. He Insisted I shouldn’t buy a double 60 breaker without changing the size of the wire in the panel box. Which is a true statement. I let Tony know, I have the correct size wire inside the box. An 8/2. He became upset he couldn’t sell me a expensive wire I didn’t need. So he started repeating, I was going to burn my house down if I purchased the double 60 breaker. I felt very pressured so I purchased the double 40 breaker instead. Once I returned home and confirmed the wire size with a family member, who is an electrician. He confirmed I have the correct wire and should have purchased the double 60 breaker.I returned to the store a few hours later to purchase the double 60 breaker. Once I got to the checkout counter, there was Tony adjusting a shelf close by. Once he noticed it was me from earlier that day, he began to say negative comments about me behind my back to a female colleague. I know this because the female employee kept saying, “Tony be nice, Tony be nice”! Looking directly at me. At this time there were no other customers around.I will be avoiding this location from now on. The treatment of customers is very disrespectful and uncalled for. I don’t know what type of customer service training Tony received or if he received any but he needs to be retrained. In this day in age, I shouldn’t have to experience this kind of nasty behavior from any employee. This location is horrible. Never again! I will not expose myself to this type of treatment.

This is a really nice and helpful place for your hardware needs. Very competitive with the big box stores on price and inventory. However, the service is consistently superior.

Great customer service. They've literally got you covered with your hardware needs and small repair shop too! In the area or passing by, if you don't stop by you're missing out. Grew up with the family that owns it and they couldn't be more genuine. Hope it's around for years to come.

Drove 40mins to this location because online showed them having a generator I wanted. Get there and it's was apparently "sold that morning". So I go with a more expensive unit get it loaded try to crank it over an battery is dead. Had to unload return it then go with another model which was less power then I needed but being in a crunch with a baby an no power I bought it and will be selling it. Not my first major let down with ace and I will do my best to avoid ever giving them a dime again.

Dropped my push-mower off. No one said how long it would take or that they were backed-up. I called after 1 wk; they said another 1 wk. I called after 2 wks; they said a few more days. I called 3 wks; they said it was in the shop. I called at nearly 4 wks and demanded to pick it up that day. They replaced a $200 part without even asking if I wanted to spend the money on the old mower. Horribly slow with no customer service. Very unfortunate. I know they were busy, but this was bad.

My wife and I purchased an auction home almost two years ago and we thank our lucky stars EM Herrs in willow street pa. was right down the street. EM's is the type of place where ppl remember your name and where all their friendly employees is eager to help u find that one thing no other store had in stock and or answer any of your questions. Trust me EM Herrs is much more inviting, knowledgeable and super helpful no matter who and where you are from. Truly love this place come see for yourself.

I love this little hardware store. They have more than one location, but this one is my favorite. It takes me back to my youthful days when hardware stores were simple. They generally have some very old fashioned items in stock, especially for canning whether it be hot or Frozen kind. The people in there are so nice. It's just a top notch hardware store! You get a little gifties for your birthday, etc

Remember if you had a question about the project you were working on and they would spend the time walking you through it cuz they had done it themselves? ... They still have those people ...

Employees were helpful. Thestore was recently renovated, and items were not restocked immediately. The item Ineeded wasn't found but was there (possibly in a tote still). Needless to say, the employees were nice enough to help me find out what other stores might have them in stock.

Used to be a great place for hardware supplies. In the last year they have raised their prices way beyond everyone else. It’s not just inflation it’s ripping off the customer. GR Mitchell, Holtwood Supply, Providence Building, Tractor Supply are all 30 percent cheaper on almost everything in the store. Won’t be bringing my business here again.

I will never step foot into this store again. I went out of my way to this store on wed 10/19/2022, for a specific item which online was in stock at this store. I walked around the entire store twice and was not offered assistance by any store employee (until I asked). Realizing the item was not in stock, I left the store without purchasing anything. A Pequea Township Police Officer (who did not identify himself) was in the parking lot and approached me in my vehicle. I was THOROUGHLY questioned about my visit to this store (including ID and receipt for a purchase I made earlier that day).

Location was very clean and well kept. It has a very wide variety of usefully products for just about everybody. I went in for Carhartt bibs but left without them due to sizing. Was approached several times to ask of I needed anything. Very attentive and friendly staff. Will be back again.👍

I drive down to E M Herr to pick up Amsoil for my motorcycle. Nice store. Seems to be well stocked with reasonable prices. I'm thankful they carry the Amsoil I need. The staff I interact with are friendly and helpful.

I would be lost without this place. I go there at least once a week sometime more. It's nice when you can walk in a store and talk to people that know what your looking for and will spend the time to help you. And like to give Denny props for making the store better and getting more inventory so you can find what your looking foror they.figure something to make it work. I just hope and pray that the store never gos anyplace. Thank you guys for everything you do.

Shop local. Shop friendly. Shop value. Super helpful staff. We love running here for all of our hardware needs! Bought a lawn mower last year and they offer and honor fantastic warranties as well as do in house maintenance.

Hoping someone rethinks how they offer email deals . Give the customer a choice of ordering online Or while in the store shopping to be able to use the special that way. Now I will be going to lowes for the same item. Some customers still like shopping in person.
