My friend lives locally and while we were visiting, she had to stop here for some items for her new ducklings. She had been talking it and I was very impressed when we arrived. Very good pricing, awesome variety and quality of items for any animal and the employees were helpful. I will definitely be swinging by on my monthly visits for some specialty items.

Couldn't ask for better staff. They're just absolutely great!! And my baby boy Blazer got his first very own harness today. With great help with the staff for letting me bring him in and holding him while trying the harness on him before purchasing it. Y'all are just absolutely awesome!!! Thank you again for the help!

Very knowledgeable local staff. They have a variety of foods for pets and game. They also have medicines for goats, cows and sheep. You will not find in your local tractor supply.It’s always good to buy local, but this place makes you feel like you went back in time.

My dad's been coming here for bird seed now for over a year sense we moved in the country side 3yrs ago.The people here are friendly and very knowledgeable as well as answer any questions best of their abilities.>service is great and fair.>the owners/clerks are very friendly and willing to help/guide you.>they offer all sorts of feed for birds, deer, dogs and other critters.>they also offer packaged mulch for green house/potted use.Pricing for some things do very but I can say the quality is good. I do recommend stopping by and see what they offer or if they can point you in the right direction.

Extremely nice and friendly people to deal with. Along with getting backyard animal and bird feed, they carry wood pellets for heating stoves and great pet supplies. I also love their book section as they have many gardening and field guide books and an amazing selection of early colonial and local history books. An interesting place for interesting finds!

I love going in there to order pellets and talk "cars" with Scott. If you are getting your pellets and/or other agricultural supplies somewhere else, do yourself a favor and check these guys out. You'll be glad you did.

Great place for all your animals needs!! If you have a dog or cat that is fussy about what foods they eat and they won't eat something you have bought at Knitle and Freys, not only will they help figure out what is a good fit for you pet, they will refund and take back what you bought. All the staff is very polite and always helpful. If they can't find a product you need, they will find someone who can. They won't push for you to just buy what their selling, they want what's best for your animal, their not in it just to make a buck. I am a dog handler and when I see what people are feeding their pets and it's not a good quality food I always send them to Knittle and Frey.

I needed salt melt I like to get calcium chloride to help protect my sidewalks and my dog's paws from damage the big box stores were sold out and prices were from 19.99 to 30.00 plus tax for a 50 lb bag I went in asked about the different salt they sold and walked out under 3 minutes with a 50 lb bag of calcium chloride flakes for under 18 dollars including tax it pays to shop local
