I'm in the middle with this place....the doctor was great. Went over and beyond for my eye care. The person upfront must of been new because she told me a price .which was very high. I asked her to knoc off the Glare resistant lense to bring thw price down...then she tells me that she forgot to add on the transition lense as I originally ask that made the price go back up...they said without my insurance I'd be paying 800 plus dollers...that seems kinda high to me...very over priced..I won't be going back to buy anything...only seeing the great doctor they have I am re editing this to a 2 star.. reson being is they told me 12 business days and here we are 14 days latter 12 business days and no call or any update on that my glasses will be longer then expected..

This is the first time I've reviewed any business that is how bad this service was. I arrived 8 Mins early for my appointment, the Doctor took me straight back without me completing my paperwork (I was the only customer in the place). My appointment lasted an entire 5 MINUTES!!!!!! And I have very poor vision. During the middle of my "extensive" exam, the front clerk walked through the door talking on the phone... paused, notified the Doctor that the call was for him. Set the phone on the desk and walked out. After my 5 min. exam, I was sent out to the clerk to compete my paperwork regarding my eyesight, family history, medical history, etc... All the things they say is important to fully examine/evaluate your eyesight, but, apparently the Doctor did not care. My wait to get checked-out took longer than the entire exam. NEVER GOING BACK!!!

Misdiagnosis that caused it to worsen to unbearable pain. Did not receive proper treatment or exam, lasted max 10mins. Will not take medical advice again.

I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff.I have a very complicated prescription which makes it difficult to find frames and lenses that I find comfortable.My experience involved several of the staff, each of whom was as patient and helpful as they could have been. I am so grateful. I would highly recommend all of them.

This used to be my go to place. Waited a couple months for an appointment. Called a few days in advance and asked if they could get me in sooner or later. The appointment I had was dead center in the middle of my work schedule. Without even asking my name they told me no. The. Asked my DOB etc. stillSaid no. So I kept it. Show up today they tell me it was canceled. 🤦♀️ I’m like NO I tried to move it but never cancelled. 2 customers there. 8 employees that I could see. But that one. The one miserable blond behind the counter. She has zero customer service skills. Rude. Miserable. Don’t you people know that we can see and hear everything you do??You lost a customer today. And that includes my whole family. Oh. And the Dr looks like Jon Lovitz and his breath stinks. So there’s that.

Eyeland Optical in Williamsport is by far one of the best eyeglass companies to go to! You walk in and are welcomed by the receptionist immediately with a friendly and warm smile, always doing what they can to help you and make your experience with them unforgettable. The two Optometrist there are very educated and professional, fantastic service and eye exams are done fairly quickly. Opticians are very honest and polite and help you find the glasses that are the perfect fit for you and give you accurate timing on when your glasses will arrive. I would recommend this place to anyone!

My first appointment was quick and easy. The staff was friendly. The initial paperwork was simple. I barely waited before being seen by the eye doctor.Everything went smoothly and I got my prescription and was fitted for contact lenses. I tried on some new ones and he made sure they were good for me. He explained everything and made sure i understood and was ready to answer any questions.I ordered some contacts as it was explained I could order up to X amount as per my insurance. She ordered as much as she could as close to that number as possible. They printed me out a copy of my prescriptions as I plan on ordering glasses when I can afford them as well.I paid and left. It was a great experience and I'd happily go back in the future.

My wife and I visited your store on Old Lycoming Creek Road in Williamsport. The doctor was very professional and we worked with Karen the optician. She was exceptionally helpful in getting us the best frames and pricing for our budget. We will definitely return to this location. The only problem we encountered was locating the store. There is a tremendous amount of vegetative overgrowth. We were not sure we were there until walking to the front door through all of the bushes, trees, weeds, etc. I am positive you would attract more business if you kept a tidy appearance of your facility. It was not very professional at all! If not for the outward appearance, I would have given 5 stars!

They defantly care about their customers. (In my opinion) the doc was very patient was very detailed as well as stern. He did come off a little strong which may scare some people but, tried his best to explain and be patient with those he saw. The ladies and gentleman helping people find their frames and talk about the lances that best fit their needs was awesome. Did their best to lower the cost sense I had no insurance and was paying out of pocket. I highly recommend seeing them.

I made an eye appointment 6 weeks ago, 2 days before my appointment a representative called ask about my insurance coverage. I gave her all the information several minutes later she came back and said my insurance was not in network, and I would have to pay cash. If they would have asked these questions 6 weeks ago about insurance we could have moved on and I could have made another appointment with an eye specialist that accept my insurance, which I did. Your supposed to make a good first impression oh, they failed miserably.

Called this morning 4/16/22 to ask about getting my eye checked due to something flying into it last evening. Spoke with Randy on the phone. Her tone of voice seemed very short and annoyed with questions. She stated they didn't accept my insurance and when asked about prices she seemed more annoyed. She stated that the least expensive was 85 dollars. I asked about what the most expensive the cost could be and was told "I don't know". They don't appear very helpful in trying to answer anyone's questions. As a current patient there was very disappointed in this outcome.

Was in and out in about 30 minutes. Eye exam and picking out new glasses. I am not one for change. They had my current frame in stock. The optician was very clear as to what I was getting and the price. I have not shopped around in a long time, so I did not compare prices to other places. The office is very close to my house and I always seem to get good service. If I have an issue, I go in and they fix it.

Didnt even have my coat off before they were ready for me - and I was early! Once exam was over, picking out frames was made extremely easy (and never felt rushed to just pick one!) Payment options discussed andEyeland always has generous discounts while making sure I get exactly the kind of lens I want. Overall, very pleased with entire visit and looking forward to picking up my glasses next week!

I have never had a more pleasant experience at an eye doctor's appointment. All staff were wonderful. They are all friendly, knowledgable and professional. There are dozens of frames to choose from, and they do not pressure you in any way. Pricing is more than fair. Thanks, Eyeland!

I do not have enough kind words to say how great this office is. I was in a bind and ripped one of my lenses and my regular doctor had none in supply. The kind staff at eyeland optical were amazing and offered me a trial pair at NO COST!! I was so thankful I highly recommend this office!!

My first (only) appointment with eyeland was last year. When I was given my trial contact lenses after the appointment, one of the lenses was mistakenly the wrong prescription. I called that day and they were able to get me in the following day to try to figure out what was wrong. When I returned, a different doctor saw me but immediately told me to leave because I had not been wearing the (incorrect) lenses for at least an hour before my appointment, even though I could not safely drive with them in, and that he could not determine the problem without me wearing them for at least an hour. He was very rude. I was rescheduled for a second attempt to follow up a week later at which time the first doctor I saw immediately recognized I had been given the wrong lens. I ordered contacts and glasses through their shop but noticed my glasses were blurry anytime I wore them. I did not want to have to return a fifth time after picking up my glasses, so I just kept them. This year I went to another provider and was told that my glasses prescription was also wrong, which is why my vision was blurry wearing the glasses all year.For me, eyeland was too much hassle and I had a hard time trusting that my prescription was correct after the first mix up, apparently for good reason.

Make sure to double check all your billing at this store. I ended up getting billed 7 months later because they submitted my claim incorrectly. It is like pulling teeth to get this issue resolved. My husband has been told multiple time that he will get a call back but hasn't. The experience was fine at the appointment but having a bill 7 months later is very frustrating. Especially when something is supposed to be covered.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Crystal was a problem from the very beginning. Assured me my insurance was fine and not only forgot to put me into the schedule, but blamed ME for not calling back to confirm?? THEN, I ALREADY felt nervous about my upcoming appointment being covered,.so I call her to confirm everything was fine and THEN she tells me my insurance is not accepted. FOLKS, just looking at the other reviews from this place, I should've checked first. This Crystal girl is TOTALLY out in space, not even close to Earth Eye-Land.

Eyeland Optical was extremely accommodating, professional and expedient.I was scheduled to be seen @ 8:30 on a Friday morning, we were inundated with a major snow storm.Their offices were closed until 10am that Friday because of the storm, but they were able to quickly reschedule me for 10:30am that same day.Great Customer Service!!Thank you

Loved the friendly atmosphere of this place! I was surprised when they addressed me by my name as soon as I walked in the door. This was the first time I ever went for an eye exam. Although I was nervous they were very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Thanks again!

They cancelled my appointment 2 days before that I had setup weeks ago. They wanted to reschedule but, could not fit me in for another few weeks. Since they needed to reschedule they should go out of there way to get us in, but they don't care.

Great place to get glasses! The friendly atmosphere makes your visit feel like more than just shopping for glasses. Call or ask for Karen she's the best optician around. Very knowledgeable of what they have to offer and will have you walking out the front door able to see the world when you could barely find the door on your way in.

I live in the area while i’m at college so with my eye doctor being 2+ hours away I called Eyeland Optical when I ran out of contacts. They were more than helpful with getting my proper prescription contacts and made me feel at home!

Dog ate my glasses and they didnt have matching lens from old prescription. But from a newer prescription they had the opposite lens. They were able to find a way to get me out with glasses since I am pretty blind without. Very nice to deal with!

It's 6:15 on a Thursday and they are closed they're bush in front of the door is too high to see their hours of operation and it's pouring down rain I do not feel like getting out of the car to see exactly what it says. I've always had good service otherwise just need to update your website.

I got glasses here in December with my insurance paying for the frames and appointment. I wanted to get new frames (but have the lenses paid for with insurance) in July, now they no longer take my insurance. Today (Oct 1st) I decided I need my Px for contacts and they claim I never paid the "fitting fee" in December which is somewhere around $40 and I thought, well that's your fault, I can't be a customer to you anyway since you don't take my insurance, can I have my Px for my contacts? They said no I have to pay that first. So it's $63 instead of $23 like it should be due to THEIR error, and they have to ORDER my Px contacts because they don't have any on hand.
