Had a terrible experience here today. I went to exchange a EMPTY propane tank for a full one. As I’m about to walk in a customer a few steps ahead of me held the door open for me as I took one step inside obviously missing the sign on the door saying no propane tanks allowed inside I greeted the grey haired employee with a hello and he immediately told me that I had to turn around and get out! Me not understanding why I’m being told to leave questioned it and explained I’m here to exchange this EMPTY propane tank. Then an older woman who was working the cash register also told me that I had to turn around right now and go outside. Me being a good regular customer not understanding why I’m being told to leave in a very rude manner. I now understand it’s company policy no propane tanks allowed in the store full or empty but at the time doing my very first exchange I wasn’t aware. It’s not my responsibility as a customer to know every rule and regulation for your store but it is your responsibility to convey those guidelines to me the customer in a polite way they can clearly understand. I told them next time I have to fill a tank I’ll just go somewhere else instead of being humiliated.

Great Store. There are always associates there to help you. This is NOT the place to go if you want to walk around for 30 minutes looking for someone to assist you. Give em a try before you go to a big box store.

Staff was helpful. But the bathtub stickies in stock didn't look trustworthy. So, we didn't purchase any. The Halloween decor section was also disappointingly sparse.

Located on Rt 136 on top of West Newton Hill in Westmoreland County sits this little convenient store filled with what you might need for that quick fix.This Ace Hardware has an employee to help you as soon as you walk in and another one it seems in every aisle. If you're not sure where the item is, they can help. But obviously if they merchandised better it would be easier to find what you need.Pricing is what you would expect from a small hardware store, but you can also find great deals. The employees are very talkative, which is good and bad but they are nothing more than proficient at their job.

One of the cleanest and well stocked Ace Hardware stores I've ever been in. Employees are all very helpful. If you need hard to find hardware such as bolts and etc, they usually have it when other big box stores do not.

They carry mostly everything in the store. You walk in the door and associates are literally waiting on you to help you find what you need. I don’t know how such a tiny place has more readily available than Lowes does, but they just do! This place is great!

Typical ACE store. Prices are a little higher than your average big box but you don't mind paying a little more because of the great customer service. Store was clean and very well laid out. Easy to find what you are looking for. Store is off the track but easy to get too.

My gas grill finely died .I went toWilliams ace hardware to see if theyHad any .A phone call was madeAnd they had one . so I went to theregarage and they have a Weber grill3 burner just the one I wanted and atthis time of year WOW !!!I asked him how much he said 633.⁰⁰ plus tax, and I asked him doyou deliver and they said yes and Isaid sold !!! .Now at Giant eagle The same exactgrill they want 899.00 So what are you going to do??Thanks again Williams and a big thanks to the employees also.👍😀

After some thought I changed my rating to 5 stars. Hardware store has a good selection for the size and I've always had a good experience here. Especially the staff, everytime I've visited I get asked if I need any assistance and when I do they're knowledgeable and quick to answer giving me confidence in what I'm purchasing is correct and confidence that they know what they're talking about.

I feel like this place has gone downhill lately. They said they had an item online but when I got to the store they said they didn't have it. There were about ten employees standing around up at the front of the store doing nothing. I didn't even browse the store because it felt awkward with so many employees just watching doing nothing.

This is by far the best hardware store in the area. The best and most knowledgeable staff anywhere around. All are great and Ken was very helpful with the issue I had. The only problem is they have NO lumber so I have to go to the place I hate to get that. But seriously I love going here for all my needs

There is always someone there to help. Very nice, helpful staff! They’ll actually take you to the item and explain how to use it. And they seem to always have just what I need. And if I do buy the wrong thing, returning is never a problem.
