They have taken strides to clean up the store quite a bit, and many choices after the pandemic have improved the shopping experience, especially wider aisles, and a better flow to how the store is laid out.They have many seasonal items right near the front of the store, and as you walk in (on the right sided entrance) the seasonal items are the first you will see.Most all of the sections/departments are well stocked and relatively clean & faced (especially considering how busy the store gets.)Even though not all of them were operable/open, they have a good amount of self-checkout kiosks, and the self-checkout experience was extremely quick and easy. This was at a slightly less busy time than the average shopping experience there, but self-checkout was still much, much quicker than waiting for a cashier.The greeter(s) and all associates I happened to interact with were friendly and nice.

Wow this place has changed...I've always avoided this place for years because it was so deplorable and filthy.I happen to be in the neighborhood yesterday, and I swung in because I had to pick something up.To my surprise this place has been cleaned up dramaticallyThings have been moved around a lot as wellI do have to say though, definitely looks so much betterAlso have a very friendly staff

Bought two air mattresses for $100. They're not comfortable at all, so we went to exchange them for better ones. Stood in line at Customer Service and was told that we could go and get other ones and come back to Customer Service and exchange them. Stood in line again and was then told that we only had 15 days to return them, so they couldn't do anything for us. Javier, Customer Service Manager was rude, arrogant, and argumentative with us. No where in the store or on our purchase receipt was it stated about any 15 day return policy. He refused to show us the policy.

Do not get your photos developed here. They lost the negatives I left with them and have done nothing to rectify the situation.I dropped negatives off here in September 2023, figuring I would hear from them in about 2 weeks. A month went by without a call or voice mail so I decided to try and call them to see what was happening. I called roughly 7 times and only once did I get through with someone who redirected me to their photo center, but no one answered. So I visited the store. I waited a fairly long time (while many employees walked passed me without saying a word) until someone tried to help me, only for them (including the manager) to check their draws and computers multiple times and tell me they don't know where the negatives are. What I don't understand is why there was no data in their computer system concerning my negatives, despite the fact I filled out the necessary information and I kept the customer receipt from the envelope (which they also have no record of). Their excuse was that they have to send out negatives to be developed elsewhere and that the people they sent them to are backed up or are having technical problems. Where is the assurance that the people you sent them to haven't or won't lose them? Considering Walmart has no record of ever receiving my negatives, how could they even argue that they sent the negatives out? Couldn't they have called the company to check if they had the negatives? It seems like they're blaming another company and taking no responsibility, and I'm the one who's getting punished for trusting them.I've been patient and waited over 3 months and I have to face the reality that I'm never going to see those developed photos or even the negatives again, which is a problem considering there's no copies and they were negatives of my dad and his family from years ago when he was a kid (irreplaceable moments), now lost forever.I had the chance to speak with someone else who was trying to pick up her photos, only to be told that their photo machine isn't working. She says they never answer their phones and the machine breaks a lot.I'm aware that they were short staffed when I visited (and probably were long before that), but technically issues aside, losing a customers photos/negatives is unacceptable and the fact that they weren't more concerned with this and have done nothing to try to remedy the problem so it doesn't happen again or make amends tells me they don't care. If you can't do the job, then shut down the photo center until you can. Do yourselves a favor and take your photos elsewhere for development.

They do not know how to answer the phones. The workers are very mean and I’m not one to complain but the way they are needs to be worked on. I’ve made sure it wasn’t just me or my phone, I’ve watched others call and they do not answer. I’ve asked workers and they have said themselves that they do not care they will watch those phones ring and go on about their day. It’s horrible how they treat their customers.

Still got stopped at the door to show a receipt couldn't find it at first so someone walked with me back to the register and eventually found the receipt in my pocket. The situation was embarrassing because customers were looking at me and a make employee walk back to the registers. I could have complained, filed a complaint, decided not to create a problem so I left the store. No other comments.

My wife and I came this morning and bought $201 dollars worth of groceries, now mind you, we’re Walmart + members and we brought our own bags from past deliveries to our home. So fast forward to showing an employee our receipt, she ( the employee) notices the bags and tells us we’re not allowed to have it. So she calls another employee over and we tell both of them a second time that we’re Walmart + members and we brought them from home . So he ( the other employee) takes our bags and walks away from us and the woman employee says “Sorry” so what? Sorry for being incompetent and stealing our bags? Sorry that you didn’t listen to a word we said? Or how about the fact of making us feel like we’re both criminals when we did absolutely nothing wrong in this situation! You ought to be ashamed to call yourselves customer service people!

This isn't one of the better stocked or cleanest you will visit. However, that's really the only choice we have out here in Monroeville. The staff is nice enough ( when they are there.)Shelves are normally not stocked early on weekends.

I just want to give a shoutout to an employee who was so kind and helpful! Around 1pm today, (12/19/23) I could not find canned water chestnuts, she looked it up for me and wasn’t showing in the system but told me where the international food was because sometimes they’re there (they were!) I tried to find her again to say thanks, but she actually found me probably 10 aisles away and had two cans in her hand that she brought just in case I didn’t find them. She was stocking the cereal aisle around 1pm, has shoulder length brown hair, and glasses (I forgot to get her name), thanks for being awesome!

This walmart rarely has the things I'm looking for. I will say it is one of the more staffed walmarts I've been to, though, and that's good. But it didn't make up for the lack of items on shelves. It's like they only worry about their grocery section and don't pay attention to the rest of the store.

Pros - it's a superstore so they sell everything that you need. The self-checkouts will be your best friend if you don't buy a lot of items, and the prices are reasonable. I have bought shoes, winter coat and dress shirts from this store two years ago and I still wear them! I also got a bunch of kids chairs for children's church, and surprisingly three years later they are still sturdy and none has broken so far.The items at this store are affordable, and recently they have employed an AI machine that drives around the store to keep track of inventory.Cons - customer service isn't the best. Also they have twenty checkout counters but only open three!?

I have bad experience with returning the bag I didn’t wanted anymore. First I had all the on the bags how I bought it. Second I had the receipt of the purchase. I came for return and they told me it has been returned, but I never returned it. The receipt was in my wallet the whole time and I never even returned it online. I called Walmart support they didn’t pick the calls and there was no prompt for returning issues. Please think before purchasing bigger item from this store or any other Walmart store. They have bad behavior regarding to returning policies. I’m posting my receipt but I don’t want my info leak out there.

Honestly this walmart is one of the worst around!! They never have anything stocked, there's always inventory blocking aisles... there's always a wait at the money center, it's like they don't have enough employees, and customer service is the worst, everytime I've had to go there, the employees are standing around talking instead of taking care of customer.. I only continue to go cuz it's the closest.. but seriously they are HORRIBLE!!

its boring, no food options, no bank, and no hair salon. all this walmart has is some nail salon. and stuff ive wanted has been not stocked in 2 weeks its crazy. other then that its a perfectly fine walmart

Walmart seems to be having trouble keeping product on their shelves. It's gone from bad to worse. Even in the Over The Counter Pharmacy. Items I purchase that are daily dietary needs are hard to find & it doesn't matter which Walmart I'm in. I've had to resort to shopping CVS & Giant Eagle.

The employees smell horrible and are greasy and unwashed, and so are the customers tbh. The soda aisle walls and shelves are sticky as hell. The chip aisle is covered in crumbs and food. Wouldnt be surprised if they have rats. I saw spoiled chicken on the shelf. The store is cramped, unorganized, and the bathrooms are always broken!

This place is a poor excuse for a business. The stock is inconsistent and is never can be found on the following visits. There's always chicken bones laying around the store on selves for whatever reason. Occasionally you'll see people walking their dogs in the store (non service animals) I would rather pay more money somewhere else and avoid the grossness of this place. I posted pictures of the chicken bones from 3 separate instances.

If I could give a negative amount of stars for rating this location I would. Calling there, no one answers, pressed 4 for online/pick up orders says they are referring to another business in the area because number is not in service.......the absolute worst ever and it gets worse every single day.Also, today I went today to pick up a drive up order and abut 75% of the drive up spaces were filled with unoccupied vehicles - they were just parking there and shopping inside. Had difficulty trying to find an open spot for the pick up order. Why doesn't that security company in the black pick up truck ever do anything to stop this?

My wife was at the Walmart at West Mifflin and when she was leaving she hit a big pot hole by the sewer grate at the bottom of hill on the right hand side by the traffic light. It ripped a hole right through the side of her tire and was unable to repair with fixaflat. We have a chevy suburban SUV and the tires arent cheap. Luckily I got the tire off nearby and bought a new tire at Sam's club. (We had to go back for 3 more tires so they all match, $250 x4) Please have someone repair the road before it happens to someone else. That day was a nightmare. I should be compensated and apologized to. The tires we had were almost new. $1000 wasted. Not happy at all.

I like this Walmart. It always have sales going on and then there not a security guard following you around the store!!! I was able to get my daughter a lot of school stuff! 9/10

The lines here are so long it's ridiculous they have wheelchairs accessible and a self checkout. They’ve made some upgrades to this location and it’s a decent size. Defiantly a super Walmart

The deli service is just awful, stand there forever and they ignore you, they are all to busy doing the prepackaging to put in the cooler for people to grab instead of waiting on actual customers standing there… it’s ridiculous, wait on your customers and in between do the prepackaging

So, as always, take this review with a grain of salt. Your mileage may vary. Walmart is Walmart. No big surprise there. I had no bad experience while I was there, but I didn't need any help either.However, with that being said, no one approached me either to see if I needed help. I didn't mind as I knew where I was going. Their online inventory count also seems to be pretty on point. So I found what I needed immediately. All in all it was a successful trip. Not a fantastic one, but far from crappy.Again, it's Walmart. We've all been to one and know what to expect. That's why I didn't post any pics.With that, I bid you a good day people!So, I am going to edit this on 3/23/2024Went to West Mifflin Walmart to pick up a new car battery and pulled into the pickup area. I used the Walmart app and notified the fulfillment team I was in spot number 5.I swear, I waited no more than 2 minutes before the gentleman was there with my battery. All in all, I have to say, an excellent experience! Still no pics though.As always,take this with a grain of salt and your mileage may vary!

If you have Walmart Plus this store’s shopping delivery service at this store is the absolute WORST. It has been from the start and now at close to 2024 it still is just awful. I have to argue with a shopper to find a loaf of bread for Gods sake. The WORST. I have cancer and can not shop so I rely on these services. Please do better!!!!!

The boys and girls clothing sections are all mishmashed and they never have my wic approved yogurt, Dannon brand. They also got rid of a lot of affordable clothing options for their more expensive brands that they used to only carry online.
