The staff is always so nice and helpful. The pharmacist I spoke to today was incredibly kind and making sure I was able to not miss a dose of my medication due to an insurance issue.

I'm not sure of the name of the younger gentleman that waited on me in the Pharmacy today, but I would like to say he did a wonderful job and had great energy. The service industry needs more people like him and he needs a raise. I visited at 4pm on 3/19/24 and he was on the second register in the pharmacy. I'll be stopping in to see about that raise...

Very happy with my Rite Aid pharmacy. Have had to make several visits during the past few months, and I can say each time, I am greeted and serviced with sincerity by friendly associates. My prescriptions have been ready and available each time. The store and parking lot are always kept in tip-top shape. The cashiers are friendly as well.

Rite aid is the place to shop with their rewards program. One day a month for extra rewards for seniors. This is a changing world and everyone is using Apps. At 75 I am just getting used to taking advantage of the Apps.

Had a prescription filled at Homeville Rite Aid. I was texted when it was ready and when I got there, only one person ahead of me. Staff was kind and patient with the man ahead of me and was friendly and efficient with me.

Very disorganized! They will tie up drive thru with complex transactions instead of asking customers to come in or pull over. They call and say script is ready and you get there and it's not. When I call them and ask if script is ready They say 10 minutes you wait a half hour before you leave and when you get there it's still not ready! Over the counter items are way overpriced. I really wish there was another pharmacy close to home that I could go to!

I looove this store. They have great customer service!!! During COVID and shortly after there were a few pharmacies that closed. Of course they accepted the customers and like everywhere they were short staffed. I watched people yell at them and yet every one of the staff members were courteous and professional. I applaud them. The greatest thing is that they learn your name and great you accordingly. Once my doctor prescribed me something and the pharmacy flagged it right away that it could cause adverse reaction with other meds. Once the pharmacist asked if a medication keeps me up at night and recommended to take it in the morning. Now that is true customer service.For years I went to the local grocery store, my father personally knew the pharmacist and they never knew my name, not even my last name. Not just the pharmacy, but the store staff would always say to my dad, Hello Reverend Gray, or Mr. Gray. Even when he got sick and couldn't come in they would ask me about him until he passed away in 2021. This store is the best.

UPDATED REVIEW FEB 28th 2022What an amazing improvement now that they have their Wonderful new Manager, an Assistant Manager and Excellent Pharmacist, who is on top of everything.Management is back with great Pharmacy Technicians too.When I arrived today, I discovered that the DRIVE THRU IS OPEN again and they are fully staffed, no line.I had a few questions and was able to get immediate answers, arrived at Rite Aid after a Doc Appt and my RX was already filled!Iam receiving texts again and they are better now even more than before!Thank You Rite Aid new and returning employees to making it Great Again. 🙂I so agree with the review that Ellen Douglas posted two weeks ago, she nailed it.When my insurance made me change pharmacies because of their contract,I was hesitant, being aware that they took on all the customers from a small private pharmacy that closed.I spoke with the wonderful staff before I made my final decision and all was perfect.I was pleasantly surprised.That was about 8 months to a year ago.The past couple months, however, it has steadily deteroited to the point of alarm! And if you're not alarmed you should be.I am baffled at the apparent apathy of management and or ownership at this location.We cannot just throw our hands in the air and blame it on Covid accepting the situation.It's NOT like this everywhere! People are waiting in line before they even open their doors.The staff has been given an impossible task. They aren't just filling prescriptions but also administering Covid shots and testing.This is concerning. With all the regulations we have to avoid human error, there is not one for overworked, understaffed people.Our neighborhood desperately needs this pharmacy. Some just can't simply go somewhere else, there are insurance contracts, transportation issues and other reasons people are waiting in long lines for an hour.We need solutions.I don't know if these are privately owned or not, because it's impossible to get through to the corporate offices in Camp Hill, PA., but, if we don't speak up, it is never going to change.Errors are inevitable when staff is performing to the best of their ability under stressful deplorable circumstances.PAY a competitive wage and get fully staffed! Before someone gets hurt.It's certainly a ticking time bomb and an accident waiting to happen.

Called a RX in at 7 am one day last week. I showed up two days later to pick it up and it wasn't ready. It was NEVER filled. When I complained to the Pharmacist her response was, verbatim, "Oh well, lose 1 customer gain 10". Well, they may not care but they certainly did lose me as a customer. This pharmacy used to be great with a compassionate and competent staff. Now it's full people who obviously could not care less about their jobs. Clearly Rite Aid doesn't care either because you can see the amount of dissatisfied customers yet nothing changes. It's not like this is a front register that has a grumpy cashier, this is peoples medication we're talking about. You are LITERALLY messing with peoples lives.

Went to get a flu shot Saturday morning...no one else in the store...I was told I needed an appointment. None of their signage mentions appointments needed. In fact the West Mifflin store answering service said you can register or walk in. They refused to give us the vaccine! Horrible customer service in the pharmacy!Just to point out we were the only two customers in the store and the stores own answering service offered pre registration or walk in...we were the only two customers in the store they were not busy giving out vaccines...I recently sent a complaint Email concerning the West Mifflin PA store. I have just gotten off the phone with customer service and sense that the damage to us has already been done and the response to our complaint about the West Mifflin PA store will not be resolved and the attitude of your employees will not change and we are left to get a flu shot somewhere else. We are in our mid and late sixties the vaccine was very important to us today!

Good Luck trying to get ahold of anyone in the pharmacy. I have been trying for the last 5 hours and it just constantly rings. All I needed to know is if my prescription was ready to be picked up as my doctor told me to call. It is so unprofessional of them to never answer a phone. I'm going to look for a new pharmacy ad I have heard nothing but horrendous stories about this pharmacy!!

I've had multiple covid vaccine appointments scheduled, and each time I show up, the pharmacy is just closed. No notification until a staff member sees me and says "Yeah, we have no way of knowing when a pharmacist is coming in". If you're trying to schedule a covid vaccine, stay far away from this Rite Aid.

I used to find the pharmacy very reliable over the past few years, but lately they've been terrible. It takes at least a weak to get refills and when you call it either rings and rings, or it's busy. I'm moving to a new pharmacy.

Had to wait for 30 minutes thru the drive thru on a Monday afternoon. Been regularly getting medication here since October 2017 and there were no negative instances. They had the insurance card on file. Twice this past month, they were asking for the insurance card.

Employees have been pleasant. They are just way overpriced on mostly everything. The dollar store had 2 products for dollars cheaper for same exact items. I didnt want to make another stop but i did anyway n it saved me almost $10 on those 2 items....

I'm sure I'd rate much higher than 1 star if I wasn't on hold for over 2hrs to talk to a pharmacist. Btw I still haven't spoken to one and all I needed to know was if my prescription was sent in as I was told to do by my doctor

Doctor called in a prescription and it was never filled. Called numerous times to check if it was received but nobody answers their phone. Must not have enough employees to operate. Find another location, this one is bad.
