I will be the first to say the staff here is top notch (super friendly and polite) and the store is very clean. However, we've stopped using Giant for our every day shopping and only use them for quick trips. This is due to the fact that every time we shop here, we are consistently overcharged $20 or more on our bill. Sometimes, it's due to the digital coupons not ringing up correctly (even if you clip them hours before), but other times, the basic sale items or regular priced items don't ring up right, either. Sometimes we would catch the errors before we left the parking lot, but other times we wouldn't see the error until we got home on the receipt. If you go to the counter and explain to customer service the issue, they're always happy to help. However, it became such a time suck to do this every trip (and completely not worth it to drive all the way back if we didn't notice the error until we got home) that shopping with Giant is unfortunately no longer worth it for us. We now do most of our shopping at Wegmans, as we don't have to worry about sale items and coupons ringing up correctly because they don't really have any -- the price you see is generally what you pay there. Since making the switch 6 months ago, I've not been overcharged once at Wegmans, and have actually found we've saved money shopping there despite them not running weekly sales. I implore others to check their receipts before they leave the parking lot to ensure they're being charged correctly, not only at this Giant, but all Giant stores.

Local grocery store with, in my opinion, some of the best prices around. Good quality meats and produce and I trust their store brand. This is my go-to grocery store.

Pretty sure I’m gonna join all the other boomers harassing your deli workers. Not the first time I’ve had nothing but end slices in the grab & go. Last time they sandwiched them between two layers of “normal” slices to make it look like it wasn’t junk.

Because this grocery stores POS systems were down months ago they tried go make fraudulent charges on my Wells Fargo debit card. When I went into the store to ask about this, the teen kid working customer services scoffed and laughed when I said something and pushed it off onto corporates issue. Not acceptable. Your location maintains and manages your POS systems not corporate. Now I’ve been charged a second time FRAUDULENTLY and I call the store to address this and I ask for the “store manager” Jill Goodmanson gets on the phone acting as the store manager. When I asked if she was she said she was but she’s actually the assistant store manager. Then she cut me off, had attitude, and told me word for word “I don’t know why you’re upset” after my Wells Fargo card and capitol one cards are charged at 1130 at night. Embarrassing and unprofessional from a business stand point.

Giant has a large variety of products. Including beer and Chinese food! Always clean. Customer service is great. We like the curbside pickup.

I visited this giant last Friday over the Kennett giant which I usually shop at. The employees at this giant seem a lot nicer, especially the one employee named Nick. He was very polite and courteous and I had a lovely conversation with him. He is awesome and so is the jennersville giant!

This Giant is great. They even have a freshly cooked Chinese food bar inside. Large isles, stocked shelves, clean establishment and friendly employees. 👍I drive from Aston PA to this Giant, it's about 30 to 40 minutes away and I have a Giant 5 minutes up the street from my house. Still great as of Nov 14th 2023

If using the bakery, insist on an order be taken or go someplace else to ensure you get what you need or want the day of shopping:). First time for me not being satisfied but seems sole that if an order was taken there would be no confusion.

Associates are helpful. Love the deals. They have a huge selection. They also have the "treehouse". Parents can drop your kids off and they watch them while you shop. Love the baked goods at the bakery. Also,love ordering my lunchmeat from the deli ahead of time on the app.

They have an average selection of items but every time I go here, I always wind up leaving without one thing or another that was on my list. Also, the self-checkout is absolutely MADDENING. It's one of those that if you dare move a bag it screams at you. If you hit "skip bagging" for a larger item, it freezes you in place until an overworked associate comes to swipe her card. If you insist on driving your customers to use the self-checkout (because you only have two registers open), then make it less painful.

I enjoy this Giant a lot. The staff is always friendly. They have a ton of variety. The produce, meat, and fish are always fresh / quality. The produce section actually has a lot of stuff you can’t find at other stores. I’ve never had any issues finding anything.

While the people who work at Giant have always been helpful, the company as a whole stinks. Living in the middle of nowhere, I'm limited in my grocery store options but tend to travel 45 minutes just to shop elsewhere. Here are my main issues:1.Over Charging. If I don't pay close attention to every transaction, I end up getting charged for things that were on sale and didn't ring up correctly. They used to have a policy on the wall at customer service which indicated they would give you a full refund plus the product for free if this happened. Apparently, this policy was discontinued but for the longest time they still had it posted on the wall. This set their employees up to fail when someone, like me, who can read pointed out the policy and asked them why they can't honor it. This is not about wanting something for free. I just don't want to be overcharged in the first place. It literally happens every time I go to Giant.2. Marty- Worst idea ever. I feel like the robot is following me around the store just to make my shopping experience at Giant even more miserable. I never thought I had anger issues until this robot arrived in my life. LOL!3. Rotting Produce- It just looks like no one cares. The West Grove Giant is in an area near a bunch of farms. One would think they would step up their game to compete with the various farm stands but they don't. A prime example is their broccoli. Sometimes it looks like every piece is rotten. It's not just one bum head, it's every piece. Why even bother putting it out? The quality control is just not there.4. Less Product, Higher Price- If there was one redeeming quality about Giant it was their guacamole. It's delicious and up until 2 weeks ago I was buying at least 6 tubs of it a month for my family. That was until they made the package half the size and kept the price the same. I can appreciate rising costs but once again this is a gouge and they assume that consumers won't notice if they just repackage it.The unfortunate part is that Giant used to be a great place to shop. I now loath it. I do not recommend it.

Used Giant Direct for the third time. Shopper quickly delivered my order however; did not check in with me prior to opening the trunk. When he saw it was filled, he asked if he should put inside. Only parts of my order was in the cart. There were parts of someone else's that I had to let him know were not mine. Greeting the customer and reviewing the order at least substitute scould have avoided this.

I like giant it is a clean store and usually has nicely stocked shelves. As for their deli I wouldn’t give any stars that’s why only 4 stars never have I gone to a deli section at any store and been completely ignored by every member in that area not a hello someone will be with you shortly, not even a smile or a nod . They are all working on computer orders and not worried at all about the 4 to 8 customers who are standing right in front of them. This has happened so many times I good elsewhere to get my deli stuff.

Nice place to shop:Response to Giant: As a community supermarket it is outstanding! For 5 stars it will need to follow what a few similar establishments have done. Added a interactive wine bar, live music on Friday nights, culinary events on Saturdays. The building is no longer a supermarket. It is now a destination.........

This is a comparison review. I have been going to Giant since the first week they opened. The checkouts were all open and they all had baggers. I complimented the THEN manager and he said they would have baggers all the time to help out seniors. After the first month they did not have baggers at all. At Christmas, sure, but none of the other weeks. When the deli is all guys you can stand there for 15 minutes without someone calling the next order. Just as others have mentioned, the staff back there pretty much doesn't care. As to the OUT of stock items. Everyone in the country blames the problem on the pandemic, shipping, and national shortages... an easy mark.If you cannot find workers, raise your rates of pay to checkers, Giant direct people, and deli workers. The manager in deli is really awful. In an ASIDE here.... when I go to the Giant store in Kennett Square the store is much easier to navigate (they don't block the aisles with displays), much cleaner, the checkers are competent and FRIENDLIER than the Giant in West Grove. The carts outside are brought back right away, and they are helpful to all customers. It must be a different manager.THe only consistency between the two stores is both have EXCELLENT managers and Staff in the PHARMACY department. It is a longer drive but we go to Kennett and shop there as much as we can, plus we can get a solid discount on gasoline.It is time to tighten up your standards guys. You get what you pay for.

They need to get rid of that new manager if that’s what he is, rude, comes up while I’m checking out & looks at the Christmas clearance I bought then looks at the screen to see if I paid, first off he’s lucky I was calm, I don’t appreciate anyone coming up to see what I bought, then one time I’m getting grapes & as I rung them up it asked for assistance so he came over & basically accuse me of stealing, better get a grib on yourself or you’ll find yourself in trouble doing stuff like that.Won’t shop there anymore.

Why is everyone in such a hurry here.! All the time. The parking lots. The aisles. This place is a nightmare. The sushi and Chinese are great but what they demolished to put this place here won’t be forgotten. Never forget sunset park ☀️
