Dr. Kreger is awesome. We brought our St. Bernard there for allergies and he was so knowledgeable, kind, and overall fantastic with our Ozman. Other vets have just given us the run around and pricey testing with very minimal results. Literally 24hrs after his appointment, Oz was back to running around playing and able to sleep at night. Before his appointment, nothing seemed to work, he had a full body rash, itching nonstop, just miserable and anti itch creams and such would not work. Now, he's so happy. I'm so glad we switched to Kreger. And, if there's an emergency, I know I can count on him. Thank you.

This place is amazing! The staff are warm and welcoming and are very caring and loving with the animals. We had a bit of a wait, but they kept thanking us for our patience and assuring us we'd be seen as soon as the doctor could get to us. The very was also very loving with our little buddy, and I appreciate the time he spent and attention to detail. We took our guinea pig for what we thought was an eye infection, but the doctor was quick to see that it was also a respiratory infection, as he had issues with his nose - we're new to taking care of guinea pigs so we missed this, and I'm so thankful for the observant eyes of the doctor. This was with the hour's drive to have our beloved little buddy seen. The local vet does not treat guinea pigs, because they're considered to be an exotic pet. I don't quite understand that, but am thankful that we have a vet within driving distance who will help our "exotic" little buddy.

I am forced to give a star however, he is less than deserving. He killed my bird. He took us on when I called to get follow ups he ghosted us. I finally got ahold of him and he claimed that people from all over were bringing their birds to him however I could not find anything to uphold his claims,I begged him to see my bird he said he would find someone or help me find someone. Traveling distances with a sick bird is not good ,safe or an easy practice he could have called a very local vet to fill a prescription. As for me traveling is difficult due to a back ,hip and knee injuries. He never got back to me with me the whole time in a panic looking for a vet I'm safe proximity.. He could have cared less about my bird and what loosing him would do to me.. I have retained an attorney in hopes of building a case against Lenard Kreger DVM he needs to be held responsible both financially and for the pain and suffering he took more than a bird away from me.. Buckle up I hope I can force him to shut down and replace my bird even though he could NEVER be replaced.. Dr Kreger do the right thing and replace the bird that your actions caused.

One of the most unprofessional, unhelpful and overly rude vet clinics I've ever been to. Not only did they keep my pet there for three nights without consulting or informing me. When I got her back she had a little circular cut on her front leg and was extremely distraught from having been kept away from her home for three days. Anytime I inquired about her they played phone leap frog with me and were incredibly rude over the phone. I would NEVER trust them with one of my pets again, especially not my kitten. They didn't even have the decency to let me say goodbye to her before I left her there. I'm extremely disappointed, distrustful and upset over the disrespect and the disregard for both my feelings and my animals. I would NEVER bring another animal again. Not only this but when I reached out to the clinic to find out how the cut occurred they gave no legitimate response, including at this point where it has been a few days of radio silence over my inquiry. I would expect at the very least an apology over their demeanor but there has been nothing.

Dr. Kreger is the best vet around. He's compassionate, skilled, and genuinely loves all God's creatures. Marcie Dinnison is an amazing groomer. We always take our part poodle dog, Bebe, to her.

I boarded my dogs here for the first time this past weekend and I don't have really anything negative to say. The workers seemed very nice, my dogs seemed fine after picking them up. I didn't give five stars because of a few minor things. I'm used to the normal boarding places that let you go back to take your dogs or to even do a walk through, none of that was offered they just took the dogs back. The only other thing was I tried calling numerous times to check on my dogs Sunday as they had never been there before and nobody was around to answer the phone, which I'm sure is because they were busy. Again just something I'm not used to. They are a bit pricier than some of the other places, but their price isn't bad overall. Definitely seems like a nice place to take your pets!

Dr. Kreger just saved my five month old puppy from Parvo. I've only had him a couple months and there was a wait list to get him in to see a vet where I live in central Pa. so he hadn't been immunized yet. He got sick before I could get him in anywhere.I'm from Mansfield and am very familIar with Dr. Kreger and I knew if anyone could save my pup, he could. So we called the clinic and they said bring him right in, so we drove over two hours to get him there. He was so sick! ð¢I took him in on Friday and by Wednesday he was eating and back to his old self. His fee was very fair and he was amazing with my doggo.

Dr Kreger worked my dog in even though she wasnât a patient of his. My regular vet was âtoo busyâ to see my dog today and was told to see another vet. So I did and I am so impressed with Dr Kreger that I will be taking my other animals to him from now on. My dog had a bad abcessed tooth and it could have gotten bad in a hurry. Many thanks to Dr Kreger.!

Great with my animals! We had an emergency situation that we had to get fixed on a weekend and they were amazing with taking care of and saving my dogâs life. They are affordable and loving towards the animals they care for. You can tell that they love their job.

Dr Kreger examined our mini Dachshund for a bladder issue. While no infection was detected, a antibiotic was prescribed as a precaution. Urinalysis culture revealed strurite crystals in the bladder, so he was put on Hill's Science Diet food for urinary care. While the cost was high, we are thankful to know why he had two accidents recently. The office was disorganized, but the care excellent and that's what really matters. Highly recommended.

Literally the only vet in Wellsboro that I completely trust and recommend. We take our animals to him for care as well as when we need to board them. He goes above and beyond to treat and care for all animals and genuinely does it from the heart. It has never been about money for him. He his passionate about what he does and you can be confidant your loved ones are in the best hands.

Wouldn't see our Bearded dragon who was sick. What kind of vet office doesn't have compassion enough to see a sick animal. Would give 0 stars if possible. Woman on phone was RUDE

My dog has been dead in their building for a week and wouldn't do her Cremation until they where paid in full, which they didn't tell us until 4-5 days after she died. On top of that they charged double of everyone else was asking. They said they didn't put her on the scale they guessed what they thought she was. When asked about the price, Dr Kreger said to put our dead dog in the car and take her to wastontown "if we didn't like the price." The vet office is a joke, don't waste your time.

Well to start, the only reason I'm giving a 1 star rating is because it wont let me go any lower. We took our 12 yr old beagle there for boarding. when we dropped her off on friday the place looked like a dungeon, no lights inside what so ever and no one around. Not thinking much of it we waited about 10 minutes and finally Kreger comes out, takes info and takes the dog from us. She didnt want to go so hes trying to drag her into the back room. I told my wife she'll be fine and we left. He told she was to be picked up between 9 and 10 am on sunday. We arrived at 9:30 sunday morning and just like friday the place was the same no lighting at all. We waited about 10-15 minutes ringing the bell no one coming around so finally my wife tried to call him well no answer. Finally a person comes out of an office in the corner and says can I help you? I said yes we are here to pick up our dog. He says well I dont work here and doesnt know where Kreger is. I said well can you take me back to get my dog and we will settle up with him later. He said I'm not even sure where she is. I said probably back in the kennels, take me back there. So we made our way down the dark hallway and into the kennel area. There were other dogs in there not sure how many but they were barking and carrying on. I found my dog and when she seen me she started barking yelping ,yipping really bad and she headed for the door she wanted out. I started for the door and turned around ,went back to the kennel to get her blankets and when I picked them up they were completely drenched with urine. I said to the guy ,what's up with this? He said I dont know I dont work here. So i opened the door and she ran yellping and barking kind of squatting while running darting in and out of rooms trying to find her way ou . We made it to the reception area and she ran right past my wife and to the door, still yelping and whining. I put her lease on her took her outside and she stopped and peed (alot) then ran to my truck. When I bent down to scoop her up to put her in the truck her whole back end was completely soaked with urine and stink horrible. By then my wife made it out and still no kreger mind you I said we will take care of it later she said it was taken care of throught the other guy that he had spoke to krege . As we started down the road she started whining and wimpering terribly. I pulled off the road she got out and no sooner hit the ground she started trying to poo . Well this dog pooped for about 10 minutes straight diarrhea. When she was done she whined off and on the rest of the way home. When we got home again she started pooping diarrhea for awhile and had it off and on all night. Her eyes were very swollen and very bloodshot like someone who had been crying for days. About 2 oclock in the morning she developed kennel cough. She was like that for a couple days. We ended up taking her to the vet and he said it was caused from stress ,trauma and not going to the bathroom. Well the webcams are down at this place so you're not able to check on your dog while they are there. The place has no staff so it's obvious the animals are not being taken care of properly. We took a 1 gallon freezer bag about half full of food for her and there was maybe 1 cup taken out of it . I have talked around to different people and groomers and they have all said they have heard numerous complaints about this place. So with that being said, please if you care about your pets check around before going there because I would definitely not recommend this place. Thank you.

We stopped in after a bad experience with a nearby kennel. We were greeted warmly and asked about their boarding/daycare. We were offered a tour of the kennels, asked if we had any questions, and were even given the vet's cell number in case we had any emergencies while on vacation in the area. We have not used their services yet, but plan to in the future!

This was my Macaw's first visit to a vet and I was very nervous. Dr. Kreger and his staff put me at ease and were very informative. The best part, during the illness, Dr. Kreger was only a text away and very quick to respond to my concerns! I would highly recommend this place to 'bird people'! Despite this being an emergency visit, I did not feel rushed at all and think the exam and treatment were very thorough. A very positive experience! Thank you, Dr. Kreger!

love the facility and dr. kreger.however, our last visit was dentalhygiene with Dr Shaw. She did quitea lousy job...the dogs teeth are notclean and it is not an inexpensiveprocedure. Donât care for herdemeanor or sense of superiority.

Was trying to get a copy of dogs shot records. But with the transition of my Vet Dr Shaw Opening here own practice the office was disheveled, printers weren't working. But offices busy do not move easy in transition. Good Luck Dr Shaw.

We took our 7-year-old Pomeranian Chihuahua mix to Wellsboro pet complex for a routine teeth cleaning. He died within two days of the procedure. We had given them copies of previous medical records in advance and asked them to call his previous care givers as he had Squamous Cell carcinoma on his ear tips in 2015 and they had been surgically removed. He had Pericardial Effusion in 2016 and that had been drained. We thought we were being careful due to his previous medical issues and requested the pre-anesthesia blood work. His dental was completed within 1.5 hours of us dropping him off and we thought that was a record. We moved here from Virginia and there a dental took about a half of a day. When we got there, we were informed that he was anemic and had no countable platelets. They indicated they wanted to keep him overnight for observation. We agreed. We picked him up Saturday June 3, 2017. We arrived around 2:30 PM and had to wait for a vet to get there. We were told that the anemia and low platelet count could be due to an infection or an auto immune disease. We were told to keep him quiet and restrict and activity. We took him back to the hotel where we were staying at the time, in Corning, NY. He ate normally that night and went to the bathroom. He laid on the bed and rested quietly all night. I took him out to the bathroom around 7:00 AM and he appeared to be OK. I went to get items for breakfast and while I was on the road back to the room, my wife called and said he could not stand and appeared to be deteriorating. We called the vet and were told to bring him to the office, a 50-minute trip. When we got there, he had a seizure. The Dr Shaw, who had done the dental, was there to release another animal and we spoke to her. At my wifeâs prompting she agreed to give him something to help with the seizures and informed us that they could do nothing else to stabilize him and that we should go to the animal hospital at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She indicated that there was a good possibility that he would die on the way. We left immediately and drove there. He was a full-blown seizure by the time we got there and they started working to stabilize him and prepare for a transfusion of platelets. There just was not enough time at this point and he died before they could start the transfusion. Blood platelets are stored frozen and must be thawed to be used. This process took longer than he had left.We subsequently found out that they had anesthetized him and started the dental procedure before the results of the blood test came back and they had not contacted the other vets as we asked, but they had not even looked at the records we dropped off over a week before. We also found out that they had contacted specialists post dental and knew that it was probably IMTP on Friday. We were only told about this at Cornell University on Sunday June 4, 2017.Had Wellsboro pet complex looked at his records and waited for the blood work to come back they would have known there was cause for alarm. They should have called us about the results, not done the dental, they should have told us about the suspected IMTP and sent us to Cornell on Friday June 2, 2017. When we called on Sunday June 4, 2017 they should have sent us to Cornell immediately rather than have us drive to their location and waste over two hours.Dr Shaw appeared uncaring to us and has never apologized or offered condolences. Dr Kreiger has refunded the cost of the dental procedure and helped with the bill from Cornell as well as apologized and sent his condolences. We think it would go a long way to prevent this type of tragedy if they would create a check list where they record every step of the normal process with a section where they would inform the owners of the patient of any abnormalities before starting a procedure. After all, the blood test is advertised as a pre-anesthesia blood test. This indicates that no only should the blood be drawn but the results should be evaluated before the anesthesia is started.
