First things first.....I love this place...we have been coming here for over 20 years.they up dated the rooms a little...but our last stay was this past weekend....was less than perfect...we didn't get any service...no clean towels!!!!! Our trash can was filled to the top....not happy at this point....BUT we will be back....as long as they are here.please bring your family and friends here....you will have a great time.Nearby activities: Lots to do....elk...fishing....hunting... shopping....come and see.

We were in room 5 which was small but very clean. The location was perfect for us for our one night stay. Highly recommend dinner at the Big Trout restaurant next door. Make sure you bring your own toiletries but if you forget there are a few options you can walk to to get some. Rooms were a bit noisy but the management was very nice and went out of their way to accommodate an early arrival and late departure for us. Nothing fancy but it met our needs, the price was right, and we felt safe.

Great location, rooms are good if you know what you're getting. This isn't the biggest or newest place and that's fine by me.Let me start that the rooms are clean! So that's a big plus. It's basic as you can see from the photo. There's the bed, a dresser, a closet and a bathroom with shower. That's it. No microwave or fridge in the room.We used the room for sleeping, otherwise we were exploring and finding the elk and Mr. Bald Eagle 🦅Great little place, would definitely stay again.Nearby activities: Elk

Just a basic clean room. Has a decent TV, with 2 somewhat complicated remotes. Very basic amenities if any. The shower has low pressure and takes forever to get the hot water. There is WIFI, which is needed in an area with little signal. Coffee? Keurig is in the office. It's a no-contact payment. If you pay cash, you put it in a box in the office. So Very simple place in the middle of nowhere to rest your head, with a decent TV and Wi-Fi. The room walls are very thin. If you are planning whoopee, your neighbors will hear it. The traffic outside is constantly roaring by. I slept anyway

stayed in room 1. very very small. no amenities. paper thin walls. no privacy. very noisy. very loud outside. no way to get any help. not a bnb as advertise on the bnb site. the pics you see are for the house part. the motel rooms and I mean motel rooms suck. coffee machine didnt work , when u were able to get to this tiny so called mutual room. no xtra towels, no amenities as a bnb should have. terrible location, right on the busy highway. Dont waste ur money. find something worth ur stay

Absolutely worth the money! Last minute booking and staying an extra day was not a problem. Cash only but very reasonable rates! The room was on the smaller side as was the bathroom, but it met our needs for our stay. Free WiFi, satellite TV and linens. Owner was very nice and accommodated any need we may have had. Only down side to our stay was there was only one bed in the room when we needed two...son slept on the floor in a sleeping bag, and there was no microwave or small fridge. Would have saved us a lot of money in food costs. Will definitely be staying there again!!!

I visited the Gift Shop yesterday while passing through Weedville. I was excited to find some elk-themed gifts for a few of my friends that love coming to visit the area. I'm definitely going back soon as there were a few things I wish I would have picked up for myself. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend the motel to visitors wanting to enjoy the PA Wilds!

So this is not a place for everyone. That said I gave it 4 stars for the price alone. The room was clean and has what you need and nothing more. The bathroom is tiny and the entire room was small, room 3. THE ROAD NOISE EARLY IN THE AM WAS VERY LOUD. Lots of trucks.The TV kinda worked, there were no cups for the little coffee maker (which was a bonus for this little room).It was worth the money I paid. The owner was very friendly and accommodating as well.I'd stay here again!!

We book this place at least 3 times a year. I don't want to tell you about it because it is a hidden gem, and I would like to keep it for myself. The place is very well taken care of. The staff are polite and hard working. It is a great place to come and go for the areas activities.

Peeling wallpaper everywhere, bathroom so small you have to sit sideways on the toilet, and a shower we were not going to use, about a 14 inch monitor that was our TV! Now I know why it was so cheap and I still think I overpaid!
