We ordered our wedding cake from Giant Eagle and I was so pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it turned out. Veronica at was awesome to work with. She was so friendly and made sure the cake would be exactly what I wanted. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was so delicious! You can’t beat the price either!

Clean store, wide selection, don't buy the chicken. Also have left cart of groceries because the lines (2) where to long. Don't shop there often because of that.

I like giant eagle I have went there to shop for many yrs since I went with my mom since I was in diapers I love getting the fuel perks and getting things on sale I have a few items I will not buy anywhere else but giant eagle but best of all I love all the friendly employees that work there God bless them all . But i recommend to shop at giant eagle it's a great place to shop

Found 10 bags of salad mixes marked down to $1! Was a good trip for that. Also was happy the app coupons worked to save me a couple dollars.

This giant eagle is very small. They have tha basics and honor the sales. I have found SEVERAL expired foods at this location. So much so that I check the dates on every item I pick up at this store. I have also found moldy and visually rotten items on shelves. The only reason I still shop at this location is because the meat prices(when on sale) are very good and they carry a few 1 off items that I can't find other places.

Very outdated Giant Eagle store. Doesn't look like it's been renovated since the 90s, the deli department looks even older. The photo for the Google page is NOT a photo of the actual Store. Apparently this is a franchise or privately owned store that doesn't live up to most modern Giant Eagle standards. Store is pretty dirty for Giant Eagle standards.Self checkouts seem to get shut off depending on staffing, surprisingly they seem to turn them off when they have fewer checkouts open. Haven't shopped at a Giant Eagle in a while, their self checkouts require a club/rewards card, which means waiting in long lines to purchase a single item if you don't have one (unsure if this is how all their stores are, I can't imagine it is).Prices on par or slightly higher than other local grocery stores. Shopped here a couple times this week and realize why I haven't shopped here in 10 years.

We shop here frequently and we love the deals and the workers at the customer service desk are always polite and helpful, however, some of the cashiers there need to lose their attitude with customers. If they don't want to be there, they shouldn't be. It seems like in the past 5 months, cashiers are either slamming your groceries around, getting pushy, or just irritated in general that they are there to do a job. 6 months ago I would of gave them 5⭐ but honestly it's to the point we dread even going through a check out line and I'm guessing that's most people because a lot of the times the self checkouts are full as well. As someone that spends hundreds of dollars weekly in this store, I'm about to start going to Dry Tavern Giant Eagle instead, just to be treated properly by the cashiers. And I really hope the 3 cashiers see this review because you all need a reality check. If it wasn't for customers, you wouldn't have jobs.

Good local shopping experience. Produce is fresh. Bakery and deli departments are great. Their florist is a gem, who can design beautiful creations with a little instruction.The friendly staff people keep the store clean and running smoothly.Lost a star because the requirement to wear a mask isn't more strictly enforced for customers. With state and national COVID-19 cases and fatalities at record highs, safety measures are more important than ever. It's up to our local businesses to lead on these issues.

Prices good on some items. Everything is pretty high, no matter where you shop, though. I'd rather go to Giant Eagle or Aldi's , if I'm mainly food shopping.

Great local grocery store... Good lunch meat & good deals on soda (although quite expensive if it's not on sale). The employees are always nice & helpful. You do have to watch the prices - some of the regular prices are a lot more expensive than other places... But the sales are excellent.I shop there once a week a week- would recommend :)

Absolutely wonderful selection. Everything is easy to find and fabulous selection. Prices are very good with numerous choices to select from. Best fresh produce and meat departments. Employees are friendly and helpful. Wouldn't shop anywhere else. ver. Waynesburg Giant Eagle. # 1

I went in for lunch meat & avocados & was super disappointed. They had two baskets full of avocados (probably 30-40 altogether), but EVERY one was waaaayy overripe; black & squishy + the ends were very shriveled. Most of the produce was lacking. -- poor quality/ high pricesThen, I went to the deli & the lady working was rather rude. I guess she doesn't want to serve anyone when it's a little over an hour till the deli closes-- She said she'd had already cleaned the machines- lol... Then, she said she would give me something already sliced on display, but if I REALLY wanted it, she would slice something... But she would have to reassemble the slicer & take the machine apart again to clean it. I'd think that is be something to be done AFTER the deli closes--or at least closer to closing time. What is the point of a closing time if they just shut down when they want. The prices weren't even correct, but they wouldn't honor them & didn't even care enough to change/ take down tags even after I had asked (I walked past 30min later, before I checked out)Everyone else was very nice & helpful. Things tend to be more expensive here unless on sale, so you think customer service would be a necessity. I stopped by customer service, but she was busy discussing personal issues with someone that was absolutely NOT appropriate for the workplace... Let alone in front of customers. After waiting several minutes, I just left. :(I'm definitely going to do my best to do my shopping elsewhere.( Oh! & The restrooms are disgustingu!)

Good products, nice fuel perks program, pharmacy has been great went there for years. Like that you get coupons when shopping there and can clip them to your advantage card but the store is still higher priced than other stores in town.

Clean store, great deals. Customer associate I dealt with was rude and visibly annoyed with me - a CUSTOMER - to bother her, by requesting a replacement Advantage card. I must have really destroyed her day, I actually thought about walking out. The 4 star rating is for cleanliness and I have never had any issues at any other Giant Eagles prior to this trip. I truly hope this lady just had one bad day out of an otherwise 1000's of great days interacting with human beings at the customer service counter.

This is a remarkably average Giant Eagle. If you're used to the ones from the Pittsburgh area, you'll be sorely disappointed at this location. The selection has gotten worse over the years and the new self checkout kiosks are a pain to use. Some of the staff is super friendly, and the selection is good enough for Waynesburg.

I will NEVER shop here again ! I went in to buy a cup of coffee...apparently an employee had just bought the last cup in the one & only airpot which was empty & there was no back up coffe brewed. I spent $40.00@+ on a couple items including an 18 lb. bag of bird seed for $9.99+tax....upon leaving the store, I noticed a 20 lb. bag of bird seed tagged @ $9.99 on the shelf in the vestibule/ entrance...I picked the bag up & went back in to ask the cashier for an even exchange as the were both tagged the same price & the 20# bag was NOT on the shelf in the Pet Food aisle. I was initially told I would have tocome back tomorrow as the customer service desk was closed for the evening. I live an hours drive away & that is the first & LAST time I will EVER shop at that Giant Eagle. The night manager on duty finally relented after I vehemently complained & did a return tohsnd me my money back....I did NOT askfor my money back...I wanted to make an even exchange of an item I had JUST purchased ! He finally relented after I statedthat I would call Giant Eagle corporate & the franchise owner to complain. Giant Eagle's prices are already too high & now I have another reason not to shop there again !!!!

Over priced, stock levels are poor Went to get lunch meat at the deli, every scale on the counter was dirty and had chunks of meat on them. The scales are visible, I can only imagine how disgusting the slicers are. Deli is far below health code standards.

I will always do my shopping here and my Pharmacy needs from now on the customer service there is unbelievably great my boyfriend got run over by a car and I was not able to bring him in to cash his check or get his Pharmacy needs and they honestly went above n beyond the manager came outside verified it was him and took everything back in without him having to get out of the car we will always be grateful so I recommend anyone in the area to do their shopping there

This damn store is never stocked well. It leaves a lot to be desired as our upscale (pricing l) grocery store option. The Bakery, Meat and Fish departments all close before I even get off work and in general this particular Giant Eagle store COMPLETELY SUCKS

The super market is fine no problem there but do not use the pharmacy the people in the pharmacy are rude. Who will judge you on your looks and the meds you get filled there. This is the worst place to ever get your prescriptions filled and everyone has a right to know.
