Lady MacBeth (the wee scott pup ♡) and the lovely owner make everyone who walks through their door feel welcomed. I moved to Waynesboro 4 years ago, & after years of not spending enough time out & about I found this wonderful treasure. My book collection was among the destroyed in the 2010 flood long before my move here, like many people I lost so much and it was devastating. Rebuilding my life was long and hard, but the trauma of so many books lost was too much to handle. I finally started to take steps to rebuild my collection after visiting The Wee Scott. Among the shelves I found old friends, and new thanks to the owner's recommendations. She happily ordered books online that we couldn't find, and I finally have a copy of Pride and Prejudice for the first time as well! She even helped me find good books and other resources when homeschooling during the pandemic. The atmosphere is peaceful and warm, like it's inhabitants, which makes it a regular stop for myself and my children. The scents of the Brio coffee shop waft over adding to the warmth, and I frequently grab a coffee after a purchase to sit and dive into my adventures between the pages. It will always be my first choice, I highly recommend a visit when you get the chance! You may just be coming home ♡

Every time I have interacted with the owner she's been rude. I've called in to ask if they have a certain book, I've stopped in a few times. Every time it's like she's too good to talk to you. I will never go here and I have no idea how she stays in business with her attitude.

If you are a lover of books, dogs and nice people, prepare to spend some time in this charmingly labyrinthine shop. Wee Scot is a large plus in the Good Things About Waynesboro list!

We were walking in town and stopped in here to browse around. Very cute bookshop and we found some poetry and philosophy books to our surprise! Lots of gems to be found in here, would definitely recommend stopping by. Good prices for gently used/like new books too.

Such a cute, fun shop!!! Comfortable spots to sit and browse, lots of selection, interesting back rooms and corners to explore. Very friendly staff, and they have a dog!!!!! Mac wasn't there when I went but I hope he will be next time I come.

Moved to Waynesboro last summer and have slowly been building up our book collection post overseas move! The store is filled with great books and the owner and her dog Mack are such kind and caring people and pup! I’ve found a few rare treasures here and love how organized her store is! Our kids also love coming here and it’s great to save some money while fueling their imagination!

***Addendum***Although my initial shopping experience was amazing ( 5 stars). The week that I/we waited for “restorations” was ultimately disappointing. My understanding was that repairs would take place, however, after a week, I got a book basically in the same condition it was when it was left with the owner. Completely unsure of exactly what restorative work was done.Love love love this store! I just recently started working on building a book collection and the owner was incredibly attentive to me and my father, was VERY fair in her pricing, and just made the experience one worth remembering, will be my go-to place from now on! The wee-scot pup also enjoys a good back scratching while you look for books! Lol

My boyfriend and I were walking around Waynesboro and decided to stop in. We were amazed by all the books. There were books all the way to the ceiling. Such an amazing variety. Definitely going to come back!

I wish hours were posted on the door or window. Someone (I think it was the owner) was moving about inside, but did not approach the locked door at about 1:00 PM on a Tuesday to tell me when one can shop there.
