My 14 year old galgo (Spanish greyhound) is in the last stages of life with an inoperable tumor. Dr. Dawson is very compassionate about his needs and is advising us on how to give him the best possible care to keep him happy and pain free in his final days. I feel very comfortable talking to her about what is best for him because she listens and cares. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs veterinary care for their pet.

Our chunky boy Grendel LOVED his vet visit. He didn't want to leave! He was trying to go back into the exam rooms to find his new pals that gave him all the belly rubs, cookies and cuddles. The staff and Vets are always very knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. Very pleased to have them in town !

I can't say enough good things about the Waynesboro Vet Clinic. They have been taking care of my puppy buddies for over 12 years. Some of my dogs are really easy to deal with and some are a pain, but they take it in stride. Everything from checkups, stitches, teeth cleaning, and the worst part of the whole of the whole thing that comes with loving a doggie for life. They talk to you, tell you the truth, and do what is best for your furry friend.

They are fast , I'm always in and out . They make the experience as stress free as possible for my dog. The technicians so a wonderful job on my dogs nails especially her double dew claws in the back . Thank you 😊

We took our dog there even though I more than begged my mother to switch to a neighboring clinic where my cats go. The final visit for our dog was the day we had scheduled to euthanize her for long term health issues. I'm a veterinary technician myself and have worked in a number of hospitals. The staff at the front acted like it was their first day working in veterinary medicine. They were not prepared for our *appointment* and when we walked out after the euthanasia crying the front desk lady (who knew why we were there and put us in a room) said, "have a great day!". Furthermore, they took our poor pup from us (for no real reason) to place an IVC before euthanasia. I heard her scream in the back while she was back there. I just wanted to stay with her on her last 20 minutes on this earth.I waited months to post this to calm down as I was furious, but I finally decided to leave the review.

Have been using this vet for the last 34 years and they are always amazing. They have provided wonderful care for my pooches and my Mothers for a total of 8 pups from the very beginning until they had to cross the rainbow bridge.

Dr. Dawson is awesome! She is very loving to my pets. They got my cat and dog in very quickly when most vets say yo take them to an urgent care vet. I will be switching all my 4 legged family to Dr. Dawson!

Our vet doctor, Hannah, is the most caring, thorough vet we have ever had. Our 12 year old Aussie is going through some health issues, including needing x-rays. This doctor is doing all she can and thinking of everything to help us. Goes above and beyond. The office is clean, and staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

They have their phone off the hook 30 minutes before closing today. Can't call to book an appointment for my sick cat for the rest of the weekend now.Edit: Changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars. Someone was paying attention to the reviews and Annette reached out to me within 24 hours and got our appointment scheduled. That's the kind of service that's rare these days, and appreciated in this case

I highly recommend this Veterinary Office. The first few pics are of my almost 17 year old Italian Greyhound Maggie who they absolutely treated with dignity and respect in her final minutes. The other pics are of my 3 year old Rottweiler Magnum. They have an absolute blast with him. From the front desk to the technicians and the doctors, they are wonderful. You will not regret taking your fur babies here.

Today on 9/26/2023 we had to euthanize my Beloved Tabby Cat Dexter. He was experiencing issues with his Liver and Heart Failure. I know they did everything they could for my sweet boy who will be very missed. The staff were friendly and when we first noticed that my cat was unwell and called, they told us to bring him in right away.

Dr. Atkins was very thorough & I trust her diagnosis and perspectives about my senior dog. Inn over 50 years as a pet owner and veterinary practice customer, she is the best doctor I've I have had for my dogs. She is excellent.

Staff is extremely professional and caring- took fabulous care of our 14 1/2 year old dog in a timely manner when we were out of town and after we came back. I can’t speak highly enough about this practice…follow up…and when she passed away they were incredibly compassionate and caring. 🐕😢

Great place for your pets! I've been using WVC for over 30 years. From puppies and kitten's to end of life care I've always had a great experience. I appreciate the caring Veterinarians and support staff.

The Waynesboro Veterinary Clinic provided absolutely amazing care for my two dogs over the past 12 years. During every visit, every employee was extremely kind and welcoming to me and my “children”. I can tell that the entire staff loves animals. Their expert and kind attention enabled both dogs to live long, healthy lives, bringing me joy for many years. I want to thank the entire staff and especially thank Dr. Dawson, Dr. Twigg, Dr. Atkins, and Kim for your loving care for Bichon and Stinky! You are the greatest!

Was able to drop off my dog for the vet to check him out the same day. We picked him up before they closed along with his antibiotics. Skin infection is now gone!

Very sincere. Did a neuropsy on my deceased bearded dragon and was able to offer cremation services as well for very reasonable prices. Will definitely utilize for future pets

This is an amazing vet office every time I go in here every one is so kind and helpful. I have a dog who is dog reactive because of an accident and they do amazing at clearing out rooms, they cleared out the waiting room for her to come inside, they we on it at keeping all dogs out of her sight so my dog isn’t triggered and keeping her and other pups safe. It’s highly appreciated and I respect them for all there kindness they showed my dog. They are so kind and understanding with my dog. They answer all my questions, they always do a Thorough check up exams. By far my favorite vets office and only vets office I will ever want to go to.

Always have an amazing time bringing my cat in her for her check ups or any other issues she may have. The staff is more than willing to answer any and all questions I may have. I always feel relieved right away and it's always helpful that if they are unable to schedule me right away for a visit, that I can be alerted the instant they have any opening. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr McCullough's Vet Clinic for 45+ years. He has always been able to tell me what was the problem with my pets. Sometimes lab studies or x-rays needed to be done. If I did not feel certain tests needed done I said so and my wishes were followed. All of the staff were always respectful and friendly. My pets were treated with a caring attitude at all times. There are quite a few vets there and you may not have the same vet if your pet requires follow-up but they do try to work on that. And yes, the prices have escalated for pet care especially over the past few years. But so has every other necessity. What I do not like is the fact that emergency services are not available for evenings or weekends anymore. You must take your pet to another Vet Clinic for any emergency.

Also when they do make suggestions for my pet they have never pressured me into any service or product that they may suggest for me. This is important because I have limited income love my cats and don't need to be made to feel guilty .

I have taken my (3) dogs here for the past three-five years. I typically deal with Dr. Atkins, who has always been great. She is very knowledgeable and personable. Always treats the animals great and explains things thoroughly to me. Today, I dealt with Dr. Dawson (one of the owners); she was absolutely amazing! So sweet, down to earth, personable, and extremely thorough in her explanations. I will continue to take all my animals here as long as nothing changes. It was quite a bit different with the pandemic going on, but I was able to leave my dog in confidence, knowing they'd be taken care of. I have always noticed excellent service from this vet office and also reasonable prices! I would highly recommend for anyone looking to change their vet. I have been to the vet my parents have used for the past 15ish years, and this place has much better customer service. I have never once dealt with upselling (which I've seen in the industry). Absolutely great service and you can tell that all employees care about the general well-being of your pet. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff and my pets are pretty good for them when I can actually get an appointment, however I had a hamster die because she was put on the cancelation list and by the time I got the call 3 days had passed and she had died. This week I had to scramble around and pay way too much to take my dog to the emergency vet, where they ended up wasting 5 hours of my time and then doing nothing due to him being "too aggressive", so now he still hasn't gotten any treatment. I just wish it wasn't so hard to get an appointment in a timely matter. The only option they give here is go to the emergency vet or get put on the cancelation list where they could call you that day or 5 days later, who knows, and when they do call you need to go that second or wait who knows how long still to be seen.
