My family has been using Savage Family Pharmacy for the entire 8 years that we have been living in Waynesboro and like my other reviews they are only receiving a review from me now because I only recently started reviewing businesses. I can't say enough about this local family owned business. The staff is friendly and they are always willing to help no matter what. It's not often but if there are any issues they go above and beyond to fix it and or make it right. Every time I walk into the store or even just stop by the drive-through I feel welcome. Also speaking ofthe drive-through it just makes getting your prescription so convenient.They do also offer a customer account service as well as long as you don't let the amount get to high and you regularly continue to pay it down which makes it easy to pay off my and my family's meds as we are able to. The last time I went to the doctor's office which is right across the street from the pharmacy my prescription was ready by the time I got to the drive-through. So that being said they are also quick and hard at work providing a vital service to the community of Waynesboro. If you don't already use this local business I highly recommend that you do and hope you enjoy using there business as much as we do.

They charge for delivery - unlike CVS- which is free. They have a bad attitude about people with Medicaid- unlike CVS- who doesn't care at all.The waiting time is astronomically bad here- unlike CVS- who delivers and has an app you can control your prescriptions and all of your information and set up automatic refill and delivery.I tried to stay supporting my local businesses- but not worth it. AT ALL. Just go to CVS.

I recently had to use savage family pharmacy twice for a medication my daughter urgently needed but no where else had in stock. My first experience was GREAT my second time not so much. The representative who I spoke to was completely and utterly unprofessional when telling me there was a insurance issue, when I asked her how I go about fixing this because this was new to me she proceeded with a attitude and told me to call my insurance. I tried to explain I had no idea who to ask for or what to do and simply needed assistance. She proceeded to place me on hold, came back with a even more rude tone and told me to call my insurance and tell them to fix what they are in the system. When explaining the week prior I had no issues she was like I can’t help you. All i needed was assistance on how to go about getting the insurance issue fixed since this was something our normal pharmacy handles. I was then transferred to Beth who was helpful. I called my insurance to find out that I was not authorized to do what was needed and the pharmacy had to call. I call savage back and the same associate (name was crystal I believe or something along those lines) put me on hold for 15 minutes!! I finally hung up, my child’s father then called in and got the same associate who put him on hold came back and “were working on it” and hung up. I have never been treated so rudely by a associate in my life. She was extremely unprofessional and not polite. I will not be utilizing Savage Family Pharmacy moving forward and I hope this associate is reprimanded

I love this pharmacy. I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for a long time. It is locally owned and very professional. Service is OUTSTANDING and they DELIVER to your home for very little $. Location is convenient. There IS a drive thru - if that's your thing. CVS be damned. Feels good to support local.

The drive-thru is the absolute best! I take my dog everywhere and he is always in the car. The ladies at the window always include a treat for him. I highly recommend that everyone do business with Savage Family Pharmacy.
