BEST HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE AROUND. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this Lowe’s. All of the employees are knowledgeable, helpful, thoughtful, and kind. You go in as a stranger, and leave with friends. I absolutely LOVE this place!The prices are reasonable, the selection is phenomenal, and the establishment is clean.They have a little builder’s workshop on the second Saturday of every month. Tom, the guy who is in charge of it, is INCREDIBLY WONDERFUL!

I went here to get a custom piece of glass cut for a window. The older man didn't usually work in that department but was having a hard time getting the actually glass to cut so another employee came and helped after 40 minutes and the glass having a lip on the one side and a couple places where it was unevenly cut I decided we wasted enough time, so me and my husband left. It wasn't the employees fault they truly tried their hardest im upset about the fact that, I believe that blade needs changed and the equipment being used is worn down. I'm writing this review in hopes you will look into that piece of machinery and blade so it makes it easier on the employees. As of right now I think I'll try another lowes or home depot.

One of my all-time places to go for paint supplies!!I did not, however, like that their plant section needed a lot of tending to. I found one of their ZZ plants (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) to be halfway potted with its roots exposed. I'm a huge botanist (plant person), had over 700 species in my home and my left eye twitches when I see poor plant husbandry. There was also spider mite infestations in the majority of the plants, and a ton of fungus gnats flying around. A small amount of DE mixed in the soil would help, along with spraying the plants with a horticulture oil soap and/or rubbing alcohol. That would kill the spider mites before the spider mites kill the plants, or worse, infest a buyer's entire houseplant collection after bringing it home. I highly suggest to buyer's to quarantine their new plants before introducing it to your collection, isolate it for at least 2 weeks while you treat for pests.Lowes, I would HAPPILY work part-time in your plant section to address the lack of plant care that you're currently experiencing 🤣Sorry... I really do love this store for everything that they have that I do absolutely need, but I am that crazy plant person lol I love you, Lowes!! Please tend to your plants... hell, I'll even volunteer my services to your plants 🤪

The Lowe's card charges you a $1.99 statement fee every month now. Avoid Lowe's credit card it is no longer a good deal. - Update 2-9-24Always friendly and usually not too busy. The automated process for checkout is not easy for traditional raw construction materials like tile due to the self checkout scanner. I usually have to have a human assistant because they have a better barcode scanner.

Chambersburg employees were rude and not helpful, went to the store in Waynesboro, got help finding a washer and dryer and found a dishwasher that I liked and got that also then bought a new faucet too kudos to the Waynesboro store and thumbs down to Chambersburg

Love the paint department but the rest of the business is lacking. Wood is high priced , poor quality. Never have replacement for mowers , vacuums, general window insulation, just things you think they should have. I do not like ringing myself out either !!

I have problems almost every time I come in the store the people there don't like to work if they don't have to. A guy that they told me was paid to help people load walked away when he seen me loading my material in the cashier had to come out and help me load my drywall into my truck pro service sucks I suggest going to home depot where I go regularly usually daily with very knowledgeable and helpful staff sorry Lowes get your people to step their game and attitudes up

We used self checkout n the person overseeing the area came up n put her foot on our garden cart n basically accused my husband of not ringing up items. He pointed out that is was right on the screen. She wasn't very polite about it. He was ready to leave our $100 purchase sit. I could have gotten really ugly if I wasn't there. She didn't do this to any other patrons in the area. Guess tattooed bearded men are all convicts who steal bulbs. Don't think they will be our first choice from now on.

It seems to me that every time I visit Lowes their staff is always grumpy. I went to 3 Lowe's looking for a water heater. The Waynesboro location had a super nice staff member and he was helpful except that he didn't process my request for a water heater evaluation and when I called to inquire they told me there was no ticket for a water heater installation. Needless to say I am very disappointed 😞

Don't ask for help in the plumbing isles, you might get a very rude employee like I did. He was really rude, got mad when I asked questions.

Lowes in general seems to hit that sweet spot between big-box selection and prices, and the small town hardware store service. I’m writing this review because the Waynesboro store in particular consistently goes above and beyond in the custom service department - every visit. Just wanted to say thank you!!! to all your employees, the ones who’ve helped me face-to-face, and all the ones in the background making yours a great store to shop at.

We went to buy a vanity for the bathroom. The customer service was super great. The customer service in the paint section was a totally different. two girls and a guy who were too busy socializing they couldn't bother to help anyone even after I asked them to questions I just got pointed to the aisle. last time I went we were looking for appliances, washer dryer stove refrigerator. We wondered around the section for about 15 minutes and the three employees never bothered to to do their jobs. Regardless of how convenient it is, I will go to a different store. The Hanover Lowe's has great customer service. You're always greeted, always asking can you be helped. Makes you feel very appreciated.

The store is well staffed with knowledgeable locals. I like the vibe that some of the staff are retirees and know their way around the store and what you may/may not need. They arent afraid to ask you if you are looking for something and always willing to go out of the way to help find it. Usually great customer service, never any issues when needing to return something. You can pay on your Lowes card right at customer service, and use the available balance within minutes, helps save the 5% when needed! Store is always organized and clean. Fairly well stocked.

I say sales lady was very knowledgeable and very helpful.I purchased a snow blowers and they put it in my truck! Best of all they take care of us veterans and extending a discount to us!! So glad they honor our service and help us!! Five stars and well earned, all lowes could learn from this store !

We recently bought new carpet/installation from Lowe's Home Improvement in Waynesboro and it’s been a horrible experience.We made our initial measuring appointment in April and no one showed up. Somehow it didn’t get entered in their system. The second appointment went ok but when we went to Lowes to look at the measurement and get a quote, the measurement was wrong. They had a huge triangle protruding from a bedroom that anyone with eyes would know was wrong. Third measurement appointment went fine and we ordered the carpet. About two weeks later, they show up to install it and they only had enough carpet to do one small bedroom! The order between Lowes and the manufacturer was wrong. We got the run around about a new delivery for about 3 weeks after that. Finally, it arrives. They show up, install it and IT DOESN’T MATCH THE OTHER ROOM!!! Different pattern and color. “Luckily” they had enough of the other carpet to come back the next day and finally finish the job. I have been trying to get them to give me a refund of some portion because it was an awful experience. We had to arrange to be home SIX times for this small project when it should’ve only been twice. Now, they won’t call me back. I’ve called the “Customer Care” line and still nothing. I don’t know what else to do except blast them on social media. I don’t normally do this but I feel like I have no other choice. The guy in the flooring department and everyone we spoke to was super nice but also unfortunately very ineffective. The team that installed the carpet was great. Professional, quick, neat. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was horrible and we will never purchase a Lowes installation of any kind again.
