I took my pups to Pet Valu to use their bathing facilities and it was GREAT!The staff is always friendly and super helpful, plus the bathing area is always clean and well stocked with shampoo, towels and even finishing spray to make your dog smell wonderful.My girls don't like to take a bath, but they love Pet Valu so it works out. If your dog is a runner or you're just tired of breaking your back giving them a bath in the tub at home, I highly recommend Pet Valu for a clean up in between visits to the groomer!

Great place to get most anything for your cat, dog or other little friends. If you need it, they probably have it.The store is nicely designed & doesn't have that big-box feeling even though they are a chain. I like that they have a larger supply of healthier cat foods rather then the "F words" & less nutritious types (Friskies, Fancy Feast, Purina, 9 Lives, Meow Mix, Royal Canin, etc.) & that type taking over the shelves.Most Pet Valus usually have a few cats for adoption (from a local rescue), which is great if you're looking for a new friend. However, the cage area is a "No Dog" zone so stay away if you're bringing your buddy in the store with you, ok?They carry a ridiculous amount of dog treats & chews along with needed medical items, vitamin supplements & some holistic items, (which is awesome).Oh, and don't forget the Dog Spa! It's so cool...You can bring in your filthy Fido & in just a short while (with some arm power) you'll have a clean canine - Wow!!There is always someone on staff willing to help you find the right product for whatever you need.This Pet Valu really feels like an independently owned store and has a real friendly feel to it. You should definitely stop in and have a look or better yet, go when it's time to stock up on food.

A good store. The employees are unusually well-informed about pet health issues and went out of their way to help me find a cat food my rather aged cat could digest. You are not alone as a customer here.

Stopped in originally because it was convenient at that moment. Don't live near by but will definitely return for all my pet needs because all the staff were incredibly nice and helpful plus good prices and selection
