Stopped in a couple of days ago to get some flex seal tape for a project I was working on at home. I live in Milton and could just go to Cole's Hardware, sometimes the prices at Cole's s is a bit steep. Overall the employees are helpful and found what I wanted right away. Also got to see an amazing sunset from the parking lot when I showed up to shop. Great little hardware store.

One year ago I gave Fick's 5 stars. Today I'm being generous by giving them 2 stars. I went in for stain and needed help, but everyone appeared to be busy chatting. One employee was right by the paint dept. and saw me reading each can of stain, but him and a friend were busy solving the world's problems and trying to out do each other in how civic minded they were. I wasn't eavesdropping on their conversation, that's just how close they were to me, but too busy to help me. After about 30 minutes I left and went to Cole's. Got what I needed and was out the door in about 10 minutes. And, the exact same stain was about $5 cheaper. Done with Ficks.

I need to tell you guys, my car broke down from NYC to MI Wednesday and we got stuck right in your parking lot. It was 100 degrees outside easily. Not only did you guys allow me my son and my dad to sit in your AC store so we don’t have a heat stroke you guys FIXED MY CAR !!! We made it all the way back home. We are forever grateful for you guys ♥️♥️♥️

I went in for paint, I know nothing about paint, and although there were employees standing around talking no one asked if I needed help and I walked out with the wrong paint. Because I opened it and mixed it, I couldn't return it. So now I have a quart of Kikz I can't use. I went in for dog products and that was a waste of time, they barely have anything for pets. I will rarely go back to shop there.

They have a very good selection of hardware, plumbing and paint. The workers are always willing to help or answer questions.I have been going there since the late 80's and some of the same people are still working.

Was in the store for the first time yesterday. Nice store and reasonable prices. However when I checked out the "Ammo Room", I was shocked to see the black market prices on ammo. No wonder the cage/shelf was full. We'll remember that when prices/supply returns to normal. Shame on you

If I give them a 10 star review I would. The one gentleman working there was so helpful with me finding a pair of wire cutters make sure that they were the correct ones for what I needed. Super wonderful customer service.

A local hardware store with an impressive selection. Obviously volume is not on par with the big box stores, but definitely superior to most other local store. Thus was my first time to Fick's but it certainly won't be the last!

The employees here are so sweet! It reminds me of an old “mom and pop” store from back in the 50s or so (before I was born, unfortunately). I went here when my husband and I wanted a spare pump. My husband sent me the information for the pump and I showed an employee the text of the make and model. The employee took me to where it was, carried it for me to the cash register, held it while we had to wait in line, and then carried it out to my car in the rain! Super sweet. Clean store, love to see old posters and signs on the walls!

A great local hardware store. Some prices aren't great, but you can't expect them to be able to truly compete price-wise with megacorps like W@Lmart, L0wes, or H0me Depot. But they're nice people and a quick trip.

This will make the 4th time I've tried to get into the store 5 minutes before closing and was turned away again ! 5 customer vehicles in park lot, people still waiting to be checked out in the dark and the cashier was even using a flash light because they had turned all lighting inside and outside was turned off @650 a's⁶ I pulled in parking lot and I was met at door by a gentelem@6:53 who had doors locked and keys in the door and would not let me in at 653 but there was still people.shopping and in line.to.check out , but they were in the dark and I told.the.guy it was not 7 and he said according to him.it was! This is the third time.i was refused service about 10 to.15 minutes before closing time and.one time.i.was fortunate enough to get inside before the early closing ritual and I got to see how they look as employees when they are runno g off customers arriving 10 mins Tues before closing time! It's a horrible.business practice and if ur in that big of a hurry to leave then find a new profession! I live 1.6 miles from the store and I had to drive all the way to bloomsburg to lowes for 3 bags of concrete because apparently they make enough money that they can turn people away who are 3 to 4 time a week customer 10 minutes before the posted closing time! Ridiculous!

While the inside is clean, friendly, & up to code, always make sure you are parked properly. An angry old Mr. Fick seems to threaten anyone parked not to his liking. Explaining to him that we were waiting for a disabled man did not stop him from taking a picture of the liscence plate and threaten to give it to the state police.
