We are not actually patients, but after this experience will definitely be considering it. My dog Jack unexpectedly passed away at home and we had no idea what happened. The amazing staff here told us to bring him in. They did an autospy that day for us and within 24 hrs we had our answer. It was such a hard time but after his cremation they sent not only his ashes home but they were in a beautiful box with a plaque for his name to stick on it, his paw print, and a heart shaped card with some of my babies soft fur all of which made me feel so much better and went on a little shelf with his picture and fav things. Then a couple weeks later the staff surprised us with a card that everyone signed along with inked paw prints from my baby and I couldn't be more appreciative. Thank you Animal Hospital of Waterford Staff for making this sad time much more bearable!

My animals see Dr.Strong and she is so wonderful. I had to put my animal down today, and she made me feel so much better and was so sweet and explained everything. She is always so kind to me and my animals and always gives me all of the information I need. She never makes me feel like I’m bothering her. I have lots of animals so I’m here more frequently sometimes and she always listens to my concerns and is just the best! She really goes above and beyond. I saw another person too I forgot her name that came in before her, I think she said she was new but she wonderful as well. The vets are very kind and understanding. I trust my animals completely here. Thank you for everything. ❤️

Brought my pig chewy in to be spayed. Everything went great. I can’t remember the vets name who did her sugary but she was the most knowledgeable vet iv ever run into when it comes to pigs. the staff was amazing and really cared about my pig. They even called me every day after the surgery just to check up on her. Best experience iv ever had at the vet, if you’re in the market for a vet I’d highly recommend this one.

Brought my 1 year old husky mix in for an onset attack of disorientation, she was not able to balance herself standing or sitting. Absolutely terrifying as pet parent. As I'm new to the area, I'm not totally familiar with all the vets that are open late in the day, or vets that take in emergency cases.Animal Hospital of Waterford took my call and accommodated for us to come in within the half hour. Our vet tech was so kind and gentle with our dog. Dr. Pelk is the most informative vet, she truly wants to help you get to the bottom of what is going on with your pet. We are so grateful for the staff and all their help.

Been using the Animal Hospital of Waterford with our horses for a while, the staff is always very caring and educated on livestock. We are so grateful for thier farm-call service.Likewise, what really makes them stand out is their dedication to the safety and well-being of the animals they care for. One of our goats was attacked by a dog, and despite it being Sunday morning, we had a vet out and was nothing but caring. Gave us good advice, and was able to treat our goat with the upmost of care. We are so utterly greatful for Animal Hospital of Waterford!

Like most animal lovers, I am very picky with who I go to. Each doctor here is so great that I never worry if my preferred doctor isn’t available. My whole family brings their dogs and cats here and we’ve never had anything but the best experience.

We have been very Blessed to find excellent care here for our fur babies. Most recent our fur baby Peach was shot & after spending the night at the Pet ER, Animal Hospital of Waterford was able to take her into their care when discharged. Our Peachy girl has had to endure allot and we are so thankful & grateful for the care & compassion of Dr Hobgood & all of the staff for their excellent care!❤ THANK YOU!!

The vets here are very kind and very knowledgeable. However, every time I call and take my animals there Stacy the receptionist is very rude and always has an attitude. The new girl that just started has the same attitude. Stacy is training her. I was standing in line, and the new girl, she said to me “can I help with with something or?” In the meanest tone. Again, the vets are amazing and very sweet, but it’s hard to have to deal with rude people when you’re nothing but nice to them. I might have to switch vets because I have anxiety every time I have to call and come into their office.

This is not my regular vet but they did see my dog while we were having an emergency and couldn't get to our vet.Forest had full body pain, was constantly crying and wouldn't eat or drink. It only took Dr.Strong maybe 5 minutes to realize we needed to test for Lyme disease. Low and behold, she was right. It hasn't even been 18 hours since we left their office and my boy is already feeling much better.The staff were all kind, compassionate and helpful. They were considerate and explained things to me as many times as I needed them to so I could fully grasp the information during a time of high stress.10/10 would recommend and will be saving their number if I ever (God forbid) need emergency care and can't get into my regular vet again.

My 6 year old dog had a horrible skin tear. They were able to get us in very quickly and explained everything clearly. Prices were very fair. His 30 stitches are almost all healed and i could not have asked for better service during that truamatic time. Thank you Dr. Strong!

The vets are very experienced and knowledgeable. The staff is warm and friendly. We are very happy with their services for large and small animal care. I would not trust my pets to anyone else.

I can't say enough how kind and helpful they were. Got my piglet in asap. She gave her the best treatment and even asked me about options on her treatment. Like x ray. They were up front on costs. The secretary and vet were super sweet and went above what I expected. They explained every move and showed me how to provide her meds. And options on which kind of method I could use. They are super there and feel lucky that I was abel to find them. Both Mandy and I say thank you for your help with our baby girl. She is doing wonderful after a day with medicine.

I recently had to euthanize my 15 YO cat . The staff of the Animal Hospital could not have been more compassionate, attentive and empathetic. They were very clear about the procedure and were a great comfort. I have never known anything but great service from this provider. Many thanks to Ainsley Stong DVM and her excellent staff.

Sadly there is a shortage of equine vets in our area that are taking new patients. So we took a chance on this new hospital.After one day of treatment for a lung infection my horse died, and they cancelled our appointment for my other horse (without asking) to receive his yearly vaccinations! We called because we were confused that they had not arrived. Told we could reschedule! We did not want a reschedule, we wanted our appointment honored. Requested the day off work, and had the appointment scheduled a month in advance. They seem to only work on their terms.

This is the best veterinary facility I have ever dealt with, we had a chicken with an impacted crop. They got her in and did everything needed. Dr Pelc, assistant Vickie, office gal Stacey, and the others were very pleasant. They even called frequently to tell us the progress and get our approval. Once we brought Goldie home they called early the next morning (today) to check on her. They seriously care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANIMAL HOSPITAL OF WATERFORD without hesitation.Thanks all the staff for caring for our Goldie.Randy & Susan Mcqueeney

I can not thank the Animal Hospital of Waterford enough for everything thing they did for my dog Titan. From the moment they answered the phone they had compassion and truly did everything they could for my buddy. I had to have called 10 veterinarians around me that day and I got the same results "wait till 8pm and take him to the after hours emergency. Who we all know that they just want money. Even thought Titan didn't make it do to a tumor that blocked him from peeing. They stayed after hours so that my family could get there to say goodbye. From now one I will be taking all my animals here. R.I.P Titan and thank you all for being there for him.

Supervisor shows more concern with arguing with customers than animal health care. On Nov. 16th morning staff supervisor, displays short patience when on the phone. Continuely raised voice and talk condescendingly towards a long-time patient. Because they were so busy I asked (what was the best opportunity for my cat to seek service.) She somehow got offended by this line of questioning and was more concerned with her loose emotions than the welfare of my animal. There’s no room for pride in healthcare. If you can’t handle the environment you working in and a build up of the schedule. Please remove yourself so someone else can do your job, and treat patients with respect. Quoted “you gave me attitude so I’m gonna give it to you“ all I asked was if you guys can’t take my cat who can? Needless after today I’ll be looking into an alternative vet. It’ll probably help them out anyways to losen their schedule. Which I understand it gets busy but when people ask for alternative methods don’t get an attitude?Also threatened to terminate services, bc they felt the line of questioning was rude. During visit. This place is ran by Rude employees who threaten their paying customers when told that the way they communicate is disrespectful. No acknowledgement of their actions. ALSO they tell you one price and they charge you for another… just a heads up. Will be disclosing this inconvenience to multiple parties who are patients with various different kinds of animals. Expect them not to return either.

Our pitbull got hit by a car and brought her to them. They were caring and compassionate. My pup didn't make it but they made it a bearable experience. Gorgeous facility and well kept.
