I cannot reiterate the comments of the reviews prior to mine that THIS IS THE SLOWEST pharmacy in the area. I've sat in the drive thru lane too many times for way too long. it doesn't matter when you go, even in the middle of the day it's a nightmare. The pharmacists are typically incredibly friendly and kind, but even now, after sitting in the drive thru for 10 minutes already (update, it took 45 minutes to get my prescription!), I still have 4 cars ahead of me and the entire lane next to me in just as long.

1 star is too much. You would think with all the terrible reviews they would do something about it. They are so slow that there is a chance you’ll die before you get your medication that you need. Update months later-they opened up two lanes but it is still taking the same amount of total time to get through. I think they just have one person running back and forth. I wouldn’t come here if I didn’t have to

Easily one of the worst pharmacies I ever ever dealt with in my 45 years of life. The technicians have terrible attitudes and provide the least amount of assistance or guidance as humanly possible.If this was a one-time or one-person experience, I would not consider posting a poor review. People have bad days. However, it's every single visit and different technicians that we've had the same awful experience with for over a year now. Constant, poor attitudes such as this group's often trickle down from top mgmt. I cannot say that is the case here of course, but for an entire staff to be so miserable every single day, it leads me to suspect that it is. At wits end with this group and taking our family's business elsewhere.

This pharmacy never has the prescriptions ready on time. Went to pick up Grandson's medicine that he has to take at a certain time. Not ready, causing him to take it late. Obviously no care for their patients and no respect for the job they do. Switching pharmacies.

This post is to give the extremely OVERWORKED, UNDERSTAFFED pharmacy workers a HUGE PAT ON THE BACK!!!!! In the past, I have experienced many issues here, mostly with getting scripts filled on-time, but this post is to say that today's SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE!!!!!For the FIRST time, after leaving my physician's office, I received not one, but 3 separate texts from the pharmacy. All letting me know, within an HOUR of leaving the doctor, that the 3 scripts were filled and ready for pick-up!The scripts were picked up inside the store, and though the workers are ALWAYS busy, understaffed, answering phones, and often trying to train new staff, the line moved quickly. ERIN M. checked out my order, and was super pleasant.The pharmacist and technicians are always so kind and apologetic when I do have an issue here, but today, SMOOTH SAILING!!!!! They were experiencing an insurance computer glitch today, but it did not effect my service.Whatever changes have been made, especially to improving the script service that utilizes text messages, KEEP IT UP!!!!

Great pharmacy with a great app and text updates. Drive thru is wonderful for the handicapped or sick. Problems with understaffing are the same as everywhere right now. Only drawback is that they are so good that lines can get really long! But service is great.

I have never had any medication errors there but if you are looking to be cared about on a personal level or even professional level I would not recommend.I’m assuming they are underpaid and understaffed. When my medication was pending insurance approval, which went through on the next business day, the said we only check those once a week??? That is very much unacceptable.

Have had to make 3 trips to store to see if my meds were ready because tried to call for 6 hours on 3 different days not once did anyone answer the phone. After 3 days was finaly told on 4 trip could not get a refill from dr.

My doctor electronically sent medications at 5:30am and when I called at 9:52am as I was being discharged from the hospital … And was told that my script would be pulled and filled then. I go to pick up the medicine at 11:15am over an hour after I called and it is STILL not ready and was told it was due to being short staffed “like everywhere else”. There were at least 6 employees working that I could visibly seen behind the counter. There was a reason I called as I was being discharged … they are NOTORIOUS for not filling electronic scripts unless you call them to tell them they are there and ask yourself. By then to wait over an hour as a discharged patient from the hospital is ridiculous. I will be looking to change my pharmacy at this point because after years of the same song and dance for years … enough is enough.

have fun sitting in a line either a mile long or only 3 cars behind, and it STILL takes 30+ minutes until it’s your turn. the people are rude, and there hasn’t been a single time i haven’t had to have them fix someone because they NEVER get my prescriptions right. i’ll get a text saying my meds are ready, show up within an hour, just to be told they don’t have them. this is a pathetic excuse for a pharmacy

Between fumbling scripts, not filling them when they say they're filled, and some technicians being straight up rude you can trust me that WalMart pharmacy is a 1000 times better. If you queue for the drive through you might as well turn off your engine and take a nap.Giant Eagle please just disconnect your phone line if you're never going to pick up

Wish I could give zero stars! This is THE WORST pharmacy I've ever used. I've used other Giant Eagle Pharmacies and none of them are like this one. They lose scripts, they're all extremely rude, never answer their phones and now...their phones have been down all week and any other pharmacy would've had fixed in 1 day but noooo,not these idiots...They're probably happy about it. Update: it's been many days now and I still haven't received my prescriptions. Today I called customer service and was told that the phones are not down and they're just not taking calls because under staffed! This is beyond wrong and they need turned in but idk how to go about doing so.

If you need your script filled go somewhere else! My doctor has sent my refills over 4 different times! Sorry we didn’t! I went 6 days without my medication! Worst pharmacy ever! I am now at Sam’s Club ! Trust me avoid this one at all costs your life possibly depends on it!

I can't say that anyone there is rude or anything like that. But literally Everytime one of my doctors wire or call something in for me and tell me it will be ready I end up waiting half an hour. Even if I go in the next day, they make me wait. First one or two times it happened I didn't think much of it. But five other times after that is a pattern that starts to frustrate me.

They advertise walk-in COVID boosters but twice now I've been unable to get them; either they try to put us on a written waiting list or I've been told that "we don't typically give them" in the evening, that they're typically given M-Fri 10-5. I'd really like to know how much governmental money they got to be a COVID vaccination site.

They are really rude when you call and interrupt the questions you ask on the phone, and you wait in the longest line for more than a half hour to pick up anything; even before covid with the employee shortage this has usually been the case. I will definitely not be going here any longer

So first they said they didn't get the script, blaming med Express for not sending it, oh there it is, come back in a half hour, half hour later not ready, need another 15 minutesI could have had it filled at med Express and been home by now, but still waitingAnd have pneumonia so would have had a dose in me sooner! Antibiotics...Really thought they had gotten better but now I see NO! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE!!

They never pick up the phone. Sitting in their drive through may actually be quicker. My next experiment will be to call them while I stand in line. I hope the store doesn't close for Thanksgiving before they pick up.

I've been trying to fill my heartburn medication for over 2 weeks, but they keep telling me that my insurance isn't valid. I've called my insurance company at least 6 times, gotten all the information that the pharmacy could possibly need, yet they continue to tell me that my insurance is invalid. I asked that they call the insurance company themselves, and they refuse. The pharmacist actually told me "that's not her job." I'm honestly glad that these aren't life-sustaining medications, cause I'd be dead by now. I need my blood pressure pills filled also, but I'm going to a different pharmacy for those, cause I'll have a stroke waiting for Giant Eagle to fill them. Smh. Idiots.

It is 630 been waiting for my 2 year olds prescription for double ear infection since eleven they told me twice that it would be half hr they will text me never did text so I called at 530 and now it’s six thirty unbelievable this isn’t the first time either I’m done coming here

They seem to always be out of the medication you need. They forget to fill prescriptions on a regular basis and they have HORRIBLE customer service. If your in the Washington, PA area, go to literally ANY other pharmacy. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. A more accurate grading scale would consist of poop emojis

Always my go to pharmacy and been getting so so many fuel perks then usually when I shop here and they help a lot so I switched from shop n save back to Giant eagle not to mention everyone is very sweet
